Elke deelvraag telt even zwaar mee in de eindbeoordeling. U mag de volgende hulpmiddelen gebruiken: 1. het boek University Physics van Young and Freedman 2. een (grafische) rekenmachine 3. een woordenboek Schrijf uw naam, student-nummer, en faculteit op elke pagina die u inlevert. De antwoorden bij het tentamen zullen op de OASE-website van het vak geplaatst worden. De uitslagen zullen voor dinsdag 12 februari 2013 bekend gemaakt worden via de OASEwebsite van het vak. Ze probeert een zo groot mogelijke horizontale afstand te overbruggen, en komt neer op dezelfde hoogte. Veronderstel dat ze op aarde gedurende een tijdsinterval T in de lucht is, een maximale hoogte H bereikt, en een horizontale afstand D aflegt. Bij een wedstrijd op Mars springt ze met dezelfde snelheid v 0 onder dezelfde hoek α 0. De versnelling ten gevolge van de zwaartekracht g M op Mars is k maal zo groot als de versnelling g ten gevolge van de zwaartekracht op aarde (met k een dimensieloos getal tussen 0 en 1). Druk uw antwoord uit in termen van D. 2. Twee blokken rusten op een wrijvingsloos oppervlak en zijn verbonden met een massaloos touw dat over een kleine wrijvingsloze katrol loopt, zie figuur. De versnelling ten gevolge van de zwaartekracht is gelijk aan g. (a) Als de blokken vanuit rust worden losgelaten, glijden ze dan naar links of naar rechts? Verklaar uw antwoord. In een pretpark rolt een wagentje met massa m zonder wrijving over de baan in de figuur. Het start vanuit rust in punt A op een hoogte h boven het laagste punt van de baan. Beschouw het karretje als een puntmassa. De gravitatieversnelling is gelijk aan g. 2m m (a) Hoe groot is de minimale waarde h min van h (uitgedrukt in R), waarbij het wagentje de cirkelbaan doorloopt zonder er in het hoogste punt van de baan (punt B) uit te vallen? Hij grijpt een touw, verbonden aan een kroonluchter, en slingert tegen de bad guy (massa m 2 ) aan, die recht onder de kroonluchter staat, zie figuur. De gravitatie-versnelling is gelijk aan g. (Neem aan dat het massamiddelpunt van de stuntman over een afstand h naar beneden beweegt. Een smalle U-vormige glazen buis met open uiteinden is aan weerszijden gevuld met 25 cm olie (met een relatieve dichtheid van 0.800) en 25 cm water. De oscillator trilt met een frequentie van 40 Hz en een amplitude van 3.00 cm. Het touw heeft een massa per lengte-eenheid van 50.0 g/m en is gespannen met een kracht van 5.00 N. (a) Bereken de snelheid van de golf. (b) Bereken de golflengte. (c) Bereken de maximale transversale versnelling van de punten van het touw. 8. De frequentie van de noot F 4 is gelijk aan 349 Hz. (a) Een orgelpijp is open aan een uiteinde en gesloten aan het andere uiteinde. Welke lengte moet de pijp hebben om deze toon als grondtoon te produceren bij een temperatuur van 20.0 C? Het dwarsdoorsnede-oppervlak van elke staaf is gelijk aan 2.00 cm 2. Het vrije uiteinde van de koperen staaf wordt op een temperatuur van 90.0 C gehouden, de vrije uiteinden van de messing en stalen staaf op 0.0 C.
