2 Fantabulous Wild Peacock Wrap Here s what you need 4 skeins Wild Peacock Recycled Silk Yarn US 11 circular knitting needles 2 Reclaimed Ceramic Plate Buttons Scrap ribbon and thread Cast on 112 stitches. Knit 40 rows, adding a new skein of yarn when necessary. Bind off. YES, IT S THAT EASY Your wrap will measure roughly 46 wide and 8 tall. Wrapping it around your shoulders, mark the spots where you wish to connect the wrap. Make sure you don t wrap so tight that it s restrictive for your arms I pinned mine so that it attached near my armpits/chest. (See picture at the end for reference.) ***If you re like me, your cast-on edge will be tighter (less stretchy) than your cast-off edge. I chose to position the cast-on edge at the top of the wrap so that it would better hug my shoulders and be less likely to slip off.*** ***Also note that I designed the long end of my wrap to flip or fold up to the second attachment point. It s all about how you want it to sit and look. Feel free to play around with the placements using safety pins***

3 Once you ve selected the points of attachment, whip out those amazing china plate buttons Using some strong thread (or, in my case, the embroidery floss), sew the button to the wrap. Make sure you tack it well to the wrap and finish it off with a double or triple knot.

4 Now, take a small piece of ribbon (I used a scrap of sari silk ribbon) and make a loop using a simple loop knot. Make sure the loop is big enough to get the button through Tie the loop off on the corresponding attachment point (where you want the button to attach). I tied it long the cast-on or cast-off edge of the wrap because it seemed like the most stable location.

5 Now, put on your wrap and button it up Once you ve gotten it the way you want it, you can probably slip it on and off without un-buttoning/rebuttoning it every time. You may want to add more buttons for more attachment points or just for flair. Experiment

6 As promised, here s a live body demonstration of how I attached my wrap. Feel free to use a little bit of old fashioned trial and error until you find what works best for you. I definitely didn t get it right the first time
