2 Problem 1 (Weight approx. 35 minutes) The truss structure in the figure below is loaded in E and F with vertical loads. All relevant values can be found in the figure. 5 Problem 2 (Weight approx. 35 minutes) A crate is suspended from a truss structure as shown in the figure below. The structure is attached to the wall by means of links in x - and y direction in A, a link in y direction in B and a ball-and-socket hinge in D. The weight of the crate is 750 N. The corresponding moment diagram is shown in the figure below. Note: the curve between C and D is a parabola. The dashed lines denote the tangents in C and D. All moments are in knm. The structure is loaded on part BS by a uniform distributed load q = 5kN/m. All relevant values can be found in the figure below.
