INFLAMMATOIR DARMLIJDEN: CONCLUSIE (1) Vooral bij de ziekte van Crohn zijn de gevolgen voor de voedingstoestand en groeiachterstand indrukwekkend Hoewel de rol van de voeding bij het ontstaan van ziekte bescheiden lijkt, is er duidelijk een rol voor de voeding bij de behandeling van ziekte, en dat niet alleen bij kinderen INFLAMMATOIR DARMLIJDEN: CONCLUSIE (2) Terughoudendheid met het geven van extra bijvoeding of enterale / sondevoeding is niet terecht bij actieve ziekte en lijkt als aanvullende voeding (in merendeels Japanse studies) van belang bij het handhaven van de remissie Mucosal healing staat nu overal als ultieme doel gesteld en een voorzichtig conclusie is gerechtvaardigd dat enterale voeding op middellange termijn een alternatief kan zijn voor biologicals bij het handhaven van remissie bij MC 19
