Plotten De eenvoudigste manier om uw tekening te plotten is door middel van het aanmaken van een plotbestand. Dit bestand, samen met een opdrachtbon, geeft Lifoka alle informatie om uw tekening foutloos te verwerken. Plotbestand Voor het maken van een plotbestand moet u een plotter kiezen. Lifoka adviseert de HP 755CM C3198A. Voor zwartwit én voor kleur levert deze plotter uitstekende resultaten. U selecteert deze plotter binnen AutoCAD. Proefafdruk U wilt natuurlijk controleren of uw tekening goed wordt afgedrukt. Dit kan binnen AutoCAD met de Full Preview. Op uw beeldscherm kunt u precies zien hoe uw tekening wordt afgedrukt. Opdrachtbon Bij elke opdracht hoort een opdrachtbon. Lifoka heeft zowel een bonnenboekje als een digitale opdrachtbon. Voor de laatste heeft u de Adobe Acrobat Reader nodig. Bestanden versturen Het is noodzakelijk om uw plotbestanden door middel van winzip samen te voegen tot één bestand. U verkort hiermee de verzendtijd en verhoogt de betrouwbaarheid als u bijvoorbeeld gebruik maakt van . Veel gestelde vragen Hoe zit het met de peninstellingen? U dient zelf de juiste instellingen te maken binnen AutoCAD Autodesk gaat er van uit dat het plotbestand alle instellingen bevat en het is niet meer mogelijk om deze instellingen later aan te passen, zoals bij AutoCAD 14 gebruikelijk was. Kan ik Repro Desk blijven gebruiken? Ja, u kunt uw plotbestanden met Repro Desk blijven verzenden. De viewer van Repro Desk geeft echter de kleuren niet correct weer. Uw tekening wordt natuurlijk wel goed afgedrukt. Kan een tekening in kleur worden afgedrukt? Uw plotbestand kan zowel in kleur als in zwartwit worden afgedrukt, mits de peninstellingen met AutoCAD zijn ingesteld. Tekeningen verstuurt met Repro Desk kunnen niet in kleur afgedrukt worden. Verwerkt Lifoka ook dwg s? Het programma Repro Desk kan dwg s inlezen en verwerken. Let u er echter op de ontbrekende gegevens naar een standaard waarde worden gebracht. Specifieke Autocad 2000 mogelijkheden worden (nog) niet ondersteund. Scant Lifoka ook tekeningen in? Ja, zowel in kleur als zwartwit. Met een maximale dikte van 15 mm voor het origineel. Vectoriseert Lifoka tekeningen? Nee, maar wij kunnen u wel behulpzaam zijn bij het zoeken naar een bedrijf dat deze service verricht. 2 Met behulp van de Plotter Manager voegt u de Hewlett-Packard DesignJet 755CM C3198A toe. U doorloopt die gebruikelijke installatieprocedure en vervolgens controleert u de instellingen door bij Edit Plotter Configuration op Graphics te klikken. 3 Zwartwit Grijsvlakken Black Off Black On Met behulp van de Plot Style Manager maakt u een plot style table aan. Voor zwartwit afdrukken dient u, per Color, de bovenstaande instellingen te maken. Grijsvlakken maakt u met de combinatie Dither en Screening. Meer informatie over plot styles vindt u in de handleiding en de online Help functie. tip: in de Table View kunt u een waarde voor alle Colors instellen mbv een rechtermuisklik.

Plot Style Tables Settings Explained AutoCAD 2000 and AutoCAD LT 2000 have several new plot properties. Most of these properties were controlled in earlier releases by the HPCONFIG, XESCONFIG, CCONFIG or OCECONFIG commands. The common plot properties from these commands were incorporated into plot style tables in AutoCAD 2000 and AutoCAD LT 2000, which can support all devices using a single plot style table. The following lists the different settings contained in plot style tables and their functions. Color - Determines the plot color of objects that use the selected drawing color. For example, to plot a red line in red, set the color property for style Color I (red) to Use Object Color. To plot a red line black, set the color property for style Color I (red) to Black. Dither - Approximates a color by making dot patterns with one of the device s supported colors. Dithering is typically used if the plot device does not support the color you want to plot. For example, to send a color plot to a monochrome device where each color is distinguished in a different shade of gray, enable the dithering setting so the plot device creates dot patterns for each color. Note: Dithering is automatically turned on if you set a color screening value of 99 or less. Grayscale - Plots objects using the selected AutoCAD color as a shade of gray instead of a color. For example, yellow is plotted as light gray; blue is plotted as dark gray. Pen Number - This setting is used for pen plotters only, and it determines the pen number used to plot objects of the selected drawing color. Note: When plotting to a pen plotter all other plot style table properties are ignored. Virtual Pen -The virtual pen number determines the virtual pen number used to plot objects of the selected drawing color. To use virtual pens, perform these steps: Set up the virtual pens on the plotter device. Edit the plotter s PC3 file. In the Plotter Configuration Editor > Device and Document Settings tab > Graphics > select Vector Graphics > Color Depth select 255 Virtual pens. Set the virtual pen number property for each color in the drawing in the plot style table. Note: When plotting to a plotter using virtual pens, all other plot style table properties are ignored. Screening - Determines the color intensity of objects that use the selected drawing color when plotted. Specifying 0 reduces the color to white while specifying I00 displays the color at full intensity. Color screening requires dithering be turned on, therefore, dithering is automatically enabled if a color screening value of 99 or less is specified. Linetype - Determines the plotted linetype of objects that use the selected drawing color. The default is Use Object Linetype, which plots objects using the object s own linetype. Selecting a linetype will override the linetypes specified in the drawing for the selected drawing color. Adaptive - Adjusts the size of the linetype pattern so that line objects contain complete patterns. This only affects linetypes set in a plot style table. Lineweight - Determines the plotted lineweight of objects that use the selected drawing color. Lineweights set in a plot style table override object lineweights set in a drawing. The lineweights listed in a plot style table can either be displayed in millimeters or inches. Additionally, custom lineweight values can be added. These settings are controlled using the Edit Lineweights button.
