Je schrijft in alle gevallen will + het werkwoord op. Future Simple wie + will + werkwoord Vragen Zo maak je vragende zinnen. Will I stay? Will you stay? Will he stay? Will she stay? Will it stay? 3 Je verandert dus alleen de volgorde van de woorden in de zin. Dus: will + wie + werkwoord. Ontkennen Zo maak je ontkennende zinnen: I will not stay You will not stay He will not stay She will not stay It will not stay We will not stay You will not stay They will not stay I won t stay You won t stay He won t stay She won t stay It won t stay We won t stay You won t stay They won t stay Je ziet dat will not verandert in won t. Als je een ontkennende zin wilt maken, hoef je dus alleen maar not in de zin erbij te zetten. Let alleen op als je will not gaat afkorten, want dan krijg je won t. 4 Future met going to Normaal Hoe maak je de Future met going to? Kijk eerst even naar het rijtje met voorbeelden. I am going stay with my parents You are going to stay with your parents He is going to stay home She is going to stay home It is going to work fine We are going to stay home You are going to stay home They are going to watch a movie. Je moet dus de vervoegingen van het werkwoord to be goed kennen. Future met going to Wie + am/is/are + going to + werkwoord Vragen Zo maak je vragende zinnen. Kijk maar weer naar de voorbeelden. Am I going to stay with my parents? Are you going to stay home? Is he going to stay home? Is she going to stay home? Is it going to work? Are we going to work together? Are you going to stay? 6 Wanneer? De vraag is eigenlijk wat het verschil is met de Future Simple. Het verschil zit in hoe zeker je weet of iets gaat gebeuren. Bij de Future Simple verwacht je iets of denk je dat iets gaat gebeuren. Bij de Future met going to weet je zeker (of nagenoeg zeker) dat iets ook echt gaat gebeuren. Een paar voorbeelden: Je bent zeker van je zaak. I am going to pass this exam. It is going to rain. Je denkt dat iets gaat gebeuren, maar je weet het niet zeker. I will pass this exam. 7 Oefenen Future Simple Exercise You are going to do an exercise for practice. Deze oefening staat op Put the results in your portfolio. 1 Predicting the future You are going to be a fortune teller. Number of persons: 10 Estimated time: 20 minutes Let' s have some fun! 1. Form a group of Form 2 circles, one inside the other. 3. Turn your faces towards each other. 4. Take your partner s hand. 5. You ve got one minute. Predict your partner s future. 6. When the minute is over you move on to the next person. He is going to predict your future now. 7. Repeat this until you are facing your first partner again. 8. Put the results in your portfolio. 2 Reading about the future You are going to read an article about the future. The special powers will give the police the right to stop and search people, cars and objects. This will enable the police to intervene immediately if there are indications a terrorist attack is being planned, the cabinet said. Busy transport hubs such as the main railway stations in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht fall under the new powers, as do all civilian airports. The police have had a right to carry out stop and search operations at Schiphol since The Binnenhof parliamentary complex (pictured) in The Hague, the Borsele nuclear power plant and the media park in Hilversum where the main broadcasters are based will also fall under the special ruling. Meanwhile, the risk of a terrorist attack in the Netherlands remains substantial because of ongoing radicalisation within parts of society and a number of risky international developments said justice minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin. The Netherlands has uncovered several so-called terrorist cells and a number of people are serving jail terms for terrorist offences. But there have been no terrorist attacks in the Netherlands. The country has already ammended anti-terrorist legislation to make it easier to convict people planning terrorist attacks.
