Scan toepassingen Deze instructie beschrijft hoe de scan-to-email en scan-to-file functies geconfigureerd kunnen worden op de Toshiba e-studio s. De instructie kan worden toegepast op onderstaande modellen. Dit is noodzakelijk voor de oudere e-studio modellen. Zie hiervoor het instructie document Windows Server 2003/2008 & Scan-to-file. De hier afgebeelde screenshots kunnen onderling verschillen vertonen tussen de vermelde modellen. Alle hierna vermelde instellingen dienen te worden gemaakt via de webinterface van de betreffende e-studio; TopAccess genaamd. TopAccess Starten Start Internet Explorer Voer in de adresbalk het IP-adres in, er mag geen www voor staan. Druk op Enter. Het adres wordt automatisch aangevuld TopAccess wordt geopend Klik op Administration Voer het Password in (123456) en klik op Login Ga naar de tab [Administration] en voer het Password in. Scan-to-email. Met deze functie is het mogelijk een document te scannen naar een intern- of extern e-mail adres. Om deze functie te gebruiken dient op het netwerk een mailserver actief te zijn welke het SMTP protocol ondersteund. Om scan-to-email op een e-studio te configureren dient het ip-adres van de mailserver bekend te zijn en er dient een e-mailadres als afzender ingesteld te worden. Installatie scan-to-email e-studio SMTP Client Via TopAccess dient onder Administration, Setup, SMTP client dient op Enable te staan Bij SMTP Server Address het IP-adres van de mail server te worden opgegeven. Indien eerst via pop moet worden ingelogd, dient POP before SMTP te worden enabled en dient een login naam en password voor deze pop account te worden opgegeven. Afwijkende instellingen i.c.m. MS Exchange 2007 Standaard dient in MS Exchange 2007 te worden ingelogd met een bestaande (mail)account. Tevens dient het e-mailadres van deze maill account als e-mail afzenderadres worden opgegeven. E-mail Verder dient een standaard Van e-mail adres en Van naam te worden ingegeven, dit gaat via TopAccess onder Administration, Setup, E-mail. Ook is hier het standaard bestandsformaat in te stellen (PDF of TIFF). Multi: meerdere gescande pagina s komen in één bestand. Single: meerdere gescande pagina s komen in afzonderlijke bestanden, iedere pagina in een bestand. Let op: Het From Address moet een adres volgens de st andaard notatie zijn; bijv: info@toshiba.nl Er mogen geen spaties en speciale tekens in het adres voorkomen anders zal dit resulteren in een foutcode (2500/2501) Voor gebruik i.c.m. MS Exchange 2007 dient als afzenderadres het e-mailadres van de account welke voor inloggen wordt gebruikt (zie pag. 3). Anders zal dit resulteren in een 2550 Mailbox unavailable melding. Scan-to-File Met deze functie is het mogelijk direct naar een map op een PC/Server/MFP te scannen. Om naar de HDD van de MFP te scannen hoeft niets geconfigureerd te worden. Voor direct scannen naar een PC/Server wel. Installatie scan-to-file e-studio Via TopAccess kan onder Administration, Setup, Save as File worden aangegeven dat er network folder(s) moeten worden gebruikt voor scan-to-file. Save as file naar SMB (gedeelde map Windows/Linux-samba omgeving) Onder Destination dient: Use Network Folder Destination te worden geselecteerd. Afhankelijk van het model is het mogelijk een standaard netwerk bestemming op te geven. Nu kan onder Remote 1 en 2 het netwerkpad naar de server/pc worden ingegeven worden ingegeven naar de gedeelde map waarnaar toe moet worden gescand. Voor de betreffende map dient ook een inlognaam en wachtwoord worden ingegeven welke lees én schrijfrechten heeft op deze map. Indien maar een 1 remote locatie hoeft te worden gebruikt dient Remote 2 te worden ingesteld op Allow user to select network to be used as destination. Indien dit niet wordt geselecteerd verschijnt er een foutmelding zodra er op Save wordt geklikt. Nadat alle instellingen zijn gemaakt links boven op Save klikken. Save as file Novell Netware Afhankelijk van het model is het mogelijk direct naar Novell Netware te scannen. Hiervoor is een aparte instructie beschikbaar Scannen naar Novell Netware Server. Installatie meer dan 2 remote locaties Indien meer dan 2 Remote scan locaties gewenst zijn, kan dit via Templates worden gedaan. Stel via TopAccess onder Administration, Setup, Save as File Remote 2 in op Allow user to select network to be used as destination. Verander indien gewenst de Panel Settings Klik op Save as File Setting Selecteer gewenst File Format, Selecteer alleen Remote 2, selecteer daar SMB en geef netwerkpad/logon name en password in. Foutmeldingen bij scannen. Indien scannen niet lukt, verschijnt in de display van de machine een melding Scan log via Job Status Via JOB STATUS kan er een error code worden uitgelezen: Druk op LOG en vervolgens SCAN Hier kan de errorcode worden uitgelezen. Foutcode 2D64 (Logon to file server failed. Check username and password.) Oorzaak 1. User Login/password niet correct 2. De gebruikte User heeft geen schrijf rechten op de share en/of folder. Controleer de rechten op de server share: Klik op onder Delen op Machtigingen (Permissions) Klik op Beveiliging (Security) Zorg dat de gebruikte user volledig beheer heeft Zorg dat de gebruikte user Volledig beheer heeft. Foutcode 2550 (Mailbox unavailable.) Oorzaak 1. Relay restrictie 2. Geen toegangsrechten op de mailbox (MSExchange 2007) zie pag. 3 Controleer de Relay Restricties op de Exchange server: Indien mailen naar interne adressen goed werkt maar naar externe adressen niet bereikt kunnen worden (resultaat bijv. foutcode 2550 Mailbo x unavailable), kan het zijn dat de mailserver relaying niet toelaat voor mail verstuurd vanaf de e-studio. Dit document laat zien waar dit veranderd kan worden. Open de MS Exchange System Manager (Programs, Microsoft Exchange, System Manager) Klap de Administative Groups en vervolgens Servers, Protocols en SMTP open. Klik op Access en vervolgens op Relay. Selecteer only the list below en klik op Add om het ip-adres van de betreffende MFP toe te voegen. De instelling zoals hiernaast afgebeeld All except the list below is vanwege de veiligheid erg gevaarlijk (is alleen wenselijk indien MS Exchange niet direct aan het internet is gekoppeld). Scan Job Status Messages The status and result of the scan jobs is indicated as following in the Scan Job page in the Job Status tab and Scan Log page in the Logs tab.
