Pluralisme vs. Onverschilligheid Ik werk in de klas uitdrukkelijk rond het thema van etnische diversiteit. Ik bied leerinhouden aan die de multiculturele samenleving in al haar facetten weerspiegelen. Omwille van neutraliteit, schenk ik in de klas weinig aandacht aan etnische verschillen (-) In de globale inrichting en aankleding van de klas, belicht ik de leefwerelden van de multiculturele samenleving. Etnische diversiteit komt weinig voor in het lesmateriaal dat ik gebruik (-) 1 = absoluut niet akkoord; 2= niet akkoord; 3 = neutraal; 4 = akkoord; 5 = volledig akkoord

Multiculturalism predicted smaller belonging and achievement gaps over time Colorblindness and assimilationism were related to wider achievement and belonging gaps, respectively. Longitudinal effects of colorblindness on achievement were mediated by (less) prior school belonging.
We find that the law reduces the secondary educational attainment of Muslim girls, and impacts their trajectory in the labor market... We provide evidence that the ban operates through increased perceptions of discrimination...
