2 LIGHTREC Energiezuinige lampen zijn goed voor het milieu, maar mogen niet worden afgedankt bij het gewone huisvuil. De materialen uit energiezuinige verlichting kunnen namelijk voor meer dan 90% worden hergebruikt. Bovendien bevatten ze stoffen die beter niet in het milieu terecht kunnen komen. LightRec zorgt er in Nederland voor dat tl-buizen, spaar- en ledlampen en bijbehorende armaturen apart worden ingezameld en op een milieuverantwoorde manier worden gerecycled. LightRec, een stichting, is een initiatief van de producenten en importeurs van energiezuinige verlichting in Nederland voor het collectief invulling geven aan een milieuverantwoorde inzameling en recycling van energiezuinige verlichting. Deelnemers van LightRec voldoen via de deelnemersovereenkomst automatisch aan hun wettelijke verplichting om ook zorg te dragen voor hun producten nadat deze worden afgedankt. De inzameling valt onder de werkingssfeer van de 'Regeling afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur'. Alle Nederlandse producenten en importeurs zijn sinds januari 2014 verplicht zich aan te sluiten bij LightRec. LightRec bestaat inmiddels een aantal jaren en heeft zich in rol en werkzaamheden in deze periode tot een toekomstbestendige organisatie ontwikkeld. Nu dit het geval is wil de stichting uit overwegingen van continuiteit zelf een bestuurder in dienst nemen. Wij schatten de werkzaamheden als niet fulltime in. Het salaris reflecteert de positie en het type organisatie.

3 Job description CRSO manager LightRec LightRec is a foundation with the purpose to fulfill the producer responsibility to manage at least financially the collection & recycling of their end of life products. The LightRec board consists of a representation of lighting producers. The General Manager is employed by LightRec and reports to the board. The strategy of LightRec is defined by the board and the operational activities are currently executed by WeCycle. Disruptive technology in the lighting industry is causing strong put on market decrease of traditional mercury containing products versus led. Managing the change in an efficient and compliant way will be a core task of the General Manager and the board, considering the interest of the stakeholders. Competencies - Political and Governance awareness. The General Manager Is aware of political developments, informal relationships, positions and conflict of interests, both internal and external, dealing adequately with the above mentioned and detrimental risk. Is able to lobby and to address important subjects to the relevant persons/parties Is result oriented and shows willingness to act on results acts upon decisions of the board Is able to identify areas of potential improvement at an early stage and needs to be a team player with good interpersonal and negotiating skills. Tasks Acting under the supervisory of the Board of LightRec the General Manager duties include:: Manage a business, within budgets agreed upon Execution of the strategy set out by the Board of LightRec Preparation of a national implementation strategy for the industry sector. Monitoring and supporting the tender processes in identified areas Initiating and managing ad hoc projects in agreement with the board Able to work as part of wider multidisciplinary teams Lobby for the key interest of LightRec towards the relevant parties.

4 Profile Proven track record in management capacity University degree or higher education certificate, preferably related to the subject. Senior financial background It is an advantage to have: Experience in project management, project facilitation and monitoring including a number of years relevant experience in the Netherlands Track record in the field of solid waste management policy and planning Knowledge and experience in the field of institutional building programmes for waste collection utilities. Knowledge of procurement and general contracting rules and procedures Knowledge of EC rules and procedures Excellent network with relevant ministries within the government and external stakeholders such as NGO s Experience in the field of marketing and public relations Track record at senior management level in similar activities

5 Procedure LightRec Nederland wordt in deze procedure begeleid door Berenschot. Uw sollicitatiebrief, voorzien van curriculum vitae en motivatie, kunt u sturen via de site van Berenschot ( en via de button direct solliciteren. In de loop van week 11 (week van 9 13 maart a.s.) ontvangt u van ons nader bericht over uw sollicitatie. Geselecteerde kandidaten worden uitgenodigd voor een gesprek met de selectiecommissie. Dit gesprek vindt plaats op donderdag 19 maart a.s. De gesprekken voor een tweede ronde vinden plaats op donderdag 26 maart a.s.
