13 Aanleiding Onderzoek naar de nieuwe mogelijkheden binnen de vaste telefonie. Op dit moment maken we nog gebruik maken van de traditionele ISDN-lijnen, KPN / MobiStarhebben aangegeven de stabiliteit en kwaliteit van ISDN lijnen naar de toekomst niet meer kunnen garanderen. Rotra heeft de wens de volledige Mitel omgeving te virtualiseren. De huidige fysieke Mitel telefooncentrales zijn verouderd. De kans op storingen en onderhoud wordt steeds groter.

15 Huidige Omgeving Iedere vestiging heeft zijn eigen fysieke telefooncentrale met daar aangekoppeld hun eigen traditionele ISDN-lijnen per vestigingen. Telefonie Vaste telefoons 505 Mobile devices 335

16 Huidige Omgeving Traditionele ISDN2 / ISDN30 oplossing met fysieke telefooncentrales. De hardware staat over de vestigingen verspreid. Bij een storing op de ISDN2 niet flexibel en afhankelijk van de KPN / Mobistar. Beperkingen op het gebied van bereikbaarheid. Kosten moeilijk inzichtelijk te maken. Integratie met mobiel is niet mogelijk.

18 Nieuwe omgeving Op de twee hoofdvestigingen komt er een aparte SDSL-internetlijn binnen. Er is voor gekozen om dit in Doesburg en Kampenhout te installeren. Deze SDSL lijn zal gebruikt worden om te gaan bellen met SIP. Dit wil simpelweg zeggen bellen via Internet (VoiP). Deze lijn wordt goed gemonitord door er een firewall tussen te zetten, zodat alleen het juiste verkeer wordt doorgelaten. De overige vestigingen zullen gaan bellen via de SIP van DSB of KMP over de KPN-ONE lijn. Links van de rode lijn heeft betrekking op KPN-ONE en rechts van de rode lijn heeft betrekking op de SIP.

20 Nummerbehoud Voor alle vestigingen / gebruikers verandert er functioneel niets. Alle nummers blijven voor alle vestigingen hetzelfde. Faxen worden ook weer aangesloten door zogenaamde ATA-boxen. Deze zet het signaal om van digitaal naar analoog. Alarmeringen en Lift aansluitingen wordt niets meegedaan.
