14 Eligibility criteria transnational Public or public-similar organisation in eligible area Scope ineligible for cross-border programmes Partners from at least 2 countries Each partner contributes in project funding, project development and implementation of joint action plan Addresses objective of Operational programme No other community grant Solvency of lead partner guaranteed by bank guarantee All sections properly and accurately filled in, signed and submitted on time Willingness of partners demonstrated by letters of support Project will not contravene EU legislation (state aid, EIA, equal opportunities, competition policy) Project to be completed by 30 September 2015

17 IVC Interregional Cooperation All EU Regions eligible Objective: to improve the efficiency of regional & local policies & instruments How: exchange of experience and transfer of good practice IVC implementation / investment or research & development programme IVC = emphasising not only exchange of experience, but also transfer of good practice and capitalisation. Process of optimising the results achieved in a specific domain of regional policy. Capitalisation activities consist of the collection, analysis, dissemination and transfer of good practices in a certain policy area. 3rd call deadline 5 March 2010 Capitalisation projects

18 The IVC priorities Priority 1: Innovation and the knowledge economy innovation, research and technology development; entrepreneurship and SMEs; the information society; employment, human capital and education. Priority 2: Environment and risk prevention natural and technological risks (including climate change); water management; waste management; biodiversity & preservation of natural heritage (incl. air quality); energy and sustainable transport; cultural heritage and landscape.
