Zijn doelstelling om te streven naar perfectie heeft geresulteerd in een groot aantal bijzondere interieurs, gecombineerd met zijn eigen meubellijn. Inmiddels is het Wolterinck merk uitgegroeid tot drie zeer succesvolle disciplines: Interieurontwerp, Tuinontwerp, en Product Design. Marcel Wolterinck laat zich inspireren door de natuur: Ik probeer binnen en buiten altijd met elkaar te verbinden. Ik geef de voorkeur aan het gebruik van zwart en wit, voor de contrasten tussen de elementen. Dit is duidelijk zichtbaar in de mix van de hedendaagse objecten. Ik ga op zoek naar de perfecte balans tussen klassiek en modern, met behulp van verschillende materialen. Het is mijn bedoeling om een sfeer te maken die theatraal is, maar toch ingetogen en elegant, aldus Marcel Wolterinck. Marcel Wolterinck is as an interior, garden and product designer, he is well-known for his unique creations and a clear view. His objective to achieve perfection has resulted in a large number of special interiors, combined with his own furniture product line. In the meantime, the Wolterinck brand name has been developed successfully into 3 lines; Interior designing, landscape and product design. Marcel Wolterinck is inspired by nature: I try to connect indoors and outdoors. I prefer to work with black / white color combinations, because of the relationship between the elements. I am looking for a perfect balance between a classic and modern style, with help of different materials. It is my intention to create a theatrical atmosphere, but on the same hand modest and elegant, according to Marcel Wolterinck. Voor Wolterinck is de deur een van de belangrijkste elementen in het interieur. Een goed ontworpen deur past in het totale interieurbeeld dat bepaald wordt door materiaal, vorm en ritme. Bij Wolterinck worden projecten ontwerpen in binnen- en buitenland. Hierdoor is er veel contact met andere culturen. Marcel ontdekt de mooiste plekken op aarde; een bron van inspiratie. Deze unieke ervaringen worden gebruikt in zijn ontwerpen, voor huizen, interieurs en producten. Wolterinck kijkt altijd naar de omgeving en het landschap. Die beelden laat hij samenvloeien in zijn interieur. Een goed ontworpen deur kan opvallend zijn. Kan voor herhaling en ritme zorgen. Kan door een extreme hoogtemaat theatraal zijn. Door met bijzondere materialen te werken die Wolterinck op zijn reizen ontdekt, zoals bijvoorbeeld Sucupira, Wenge en bijzonder Walnotenhout, ontstaat iets speciaals. De Wolterinck deuren worden altijd afgewerkt met het prachtige materialen en de uitstekende technieken, zoals praktisch onzichtbare taatssystemen en het beste hang- en sluitwerk. Het deurbeslag onder design van Wolterinck, in basis strak roestvrijstaal, kan in diverse aanvullende materialen worden uitgevoerd: van mooi ingelegd bone tot de mooiste lederen ommanteling. Kortom: de Wolterinck Deurencollectie is een unieke collectie. For Wolterinck is a door one of the most important elements in a house/interior. A welldesigned door fits in an interior perspective, which is determined by material, shape and rhythm. Wolterincks projects are developed national and international; because of this there are many interactions with other cultures. Marcel discovers the most beautiful places all over the world; which is a source of inspiration. These unique experiences are used in his designs for houses, interiors and products. Wolterinck always looks at his direct environment and landscape. He merges these two impressions into his interior. A well-designed door can be distinctive which could result in a revival and a certain rhythm. Furthermore it could be theatrical too because of the door height. Due to the fact that Wolterinck discovers all kind of unique materials during his journeys, like; Sucupira, Wenge and Walnutwood, something unique will be created. The Wolterinck doors are always finished with the most beautiful materials and the newest techniques like practically invisible Pivot systems (these are doors where the hinge point is variable, the 90 hinges are located on the floor and ceiling/core. You can open these doors in both directions and they exist of the best door mounting systems. These mounting systems are a part of Wolterinks design elements, the basis is stainless steel and it is possible to use variable materials like for instance: inserted bone to a leather cover. In other words, Wolterinck doors is a unique collection. 5

LA CROIX La Croix De La Croix deur is sterk door zijn unieke, diepliggende en heldere belijning. Deze opvallende vormgeving dient tevens als de handgreep voor de deur. De vorm en functie komen hier bij elkaar aldus Marcel Wolterinck. De belijning toont zich als een Kruis. Dit kruis zorgt er als greep voor dat de deur kan dienen als schuifdeur, draaideur en taatsdeur. The La Croix door is a strong concept through his unique, deep seated and clear lining. This remarkable design functions as a door handle as well. Design and function are coming together as per Marcel Wolterinck. The curved lines in these doors demonstrate the lines like the shape of a cross. This cross can be used as a door handle for a sliding door, revolving door or Pivot door. 6 7

LA LIGNE La Ligne De La Ligne deur is eveneens sterk door de verdiepte, strakke verticale belijning. Ook hier zorgt de vormgeving ervoor dat de deur kan dienen als draaideur en taatsdeur. Met de belijning als greep. Ook hier komen vorm en functie prima bij elkaar, aldus Marcel Wolterinck. Just like the La Croix door, the La ligne door consist of a strong concept through his deepened, flat, vertical lines. Just as the La Croix door, this La Ligne design can be used as a revolving and Pivot door. Once more, the lines have a door handle function. LE TRAIT Le Trait De Le Trait deur is sterk door zijn eenvoudige en heldere verticale belijning. Deze lijnen hebben niet de functie als deurgreep, maar zorgt het diepliggende patroon voor een directe relatie met de andere deuren uit de collectie. In dit geval als draaideur met deurkruk. Het patroon zorgt nog wel voor een bepaald ritme, zegt Marcel Wolterinck. Naast in de diverse houtsoorten ook prachtig als afgelakte MDF deur. The Le Trait door is a strong concept with his modest and clear vertical lines. Marcel Wolterinck Walnoot Walnoot is wellicht de meest uitgesproken houtsoort. Het heeft een zeer mooie vlam die duidelijk in het interieur aanwezig is. Het geeft echt een statement. Walnoot heeft een mooie opbouw van het hout en kan met lichte vergrijzing zeer neutraal en sjiek aanwezig zijn binnen het interieur. Walnut is probably one of the most distinctive woods out there. LE TABLEAU Le Tableau De Le Tableau deur is samengesteld uit bijzonder houtsoorten in combinatie met een ingelegde metalen strip. Deze strip kan uit verschillende materialen of kleuren bestaan, zoals bijvoorbeeld bone of roestvrijstaal of worden weggelaten. Daarnaast is ook het paneel in de meest diverse materialen uit te voeren. Deze deur past daarmee in ieder interieur en is helemaal inpasbaar, is de stelling van Marcel Wolterinck. The Le Tableau door is composed of remarkable type of woods in combination with an inserted metal strip. This strip can be executed in different kind of materials or colors like: bone, stainless steel or you can eliminate it. Furthermore the door panel can be executed in the most exclusive materials. Marcel Wolterinck Wengé Wenge past altijd zeer goed binnen het interieur. Het is een zeer tijdloze houtsoort die mooi aansluit bij een zeer sjieke uitstraling. Daarnaast kan het ook een perfect contrast vormen tegenover bijvoorbeeld een licht interieur. Wenge is een donkere houtsoort met een uitgesproken en herkenbare vlam. La Ma tre La Maître De La Maître deur wordt gekenmerkt door een bijzonder blokvormig patroon dat ontstaat door de wijze waarop de structuur van de houtsoort wordt aangebracht. Marcel Wolterinck Sucupira Sucupira is een van de favouriete houtsoorten voor Marcel Wolterinck. Het is een houtsoort die een zeer sfeervolle, warme en sjieke uitstraling geeft binnen mijn interieurs. Het sluit goed aan bij mijn styling. Sucupira is een rijke houtsoort die een mooie dunne vlam heeft. Door een specifieke vergrijzing wordt het sucupira donker en warm. Sucupira is one of Marcel Wolterinck favorite kind of woods. It is a type of wood that creates a pleasant warmth and stylish atmosphere within my interior. It fits well with my styling. Sucupira is a pure kind of wood that has a nice, and slim charisma. By means of a specific light greyish color, the sucupira becomes warmer and darker. 30 31

LE CADRE Le Cadre De Le Cadre deur is de stalen deurvariant met opmerkelijke glasmogelijkheden. Een deur uit de Cadre-serie heeft een vaste profilering van waaruit de gehele collectie kan worden doorontwikkeld. Geheel naar wens en persoonlijke smaak op te bouwen, aldus marcel Wolterinck. Deze deuren kenmerken zich ook door duidelijke lijnen, net zoals in andere deuren binnen de collectie. The Le Cadre door is a steel door variant with remarkable glass options. Marcel Wolterinck Metaal en Glas Metaal is als materiaal erg puur. Kent in zijn structuur weinig verrassingen, maar is in combinatie met helder of gekleurd glas bijzonder krachtig. Metaal leent zich ook prima om in een unikleur het interieur te versterken. In zwart, maar ook metaallakken als lood, messing en koper geven een zeer opvallende uitstraling. Metal as a material is very pure. The look itself does not come with big surprises, but in combination with clear or colored glass it is remarkably powerful. GARNITUUR Garniture Een deur moet naast fraai ook functioneel blijven. Een deurgreep is daarom onontbeerlijk om ook op onze deuren toe te passen. Daar waar we de deurgreep bij schuif- en taatsende deuren bij voorkeur integreren in de deur, hebben we voor onze draaideuren een fraaie collectie, strakke en klassieke RVS grepen ontwikkeld. A door not only has to be beautiful, it needs to stay functional as well. A door handle is therefore an essential part of a door. If we have a sliding or pivot door, we prefer to integrate the door handle but for our sliding doors, we have developed a beautiful door handle collection, in a smoothand classic stainless steel execution. 38 39
