Met hebben we het klokconcept opnieuw gedefinieerd door de klassieke uren, minuten en seconde wijzers weg te laten en het voorvlak te splitsen in roterende delen. is tegelijk een design product en een kunstwerk. is het resultaat van een succesvolle samenwerking tussen Dutch design en de High Tech industrie in Eindhoven. Industrieel ontwerper van is René Holten, een van Nederlands top25 designers en winnaar van diverse internationale design prijzen waaronder Red Dot awards. Technisch ontwerp en industrialisatie zijn gedaan door Gidy Knoors en Matthijs Hajer, beiden ingenieurs met jarenlange ervaring in de high tech productontwikkeling. Het uurwerk is speciaal voor dit ontwerp ontwikkeld, en dat was alleen mogelijk door gebruik te maken van de ervaring en technieken opgedaan in de high-tech industrie. wordt van 6-10 december 2018 getoond op de MASTERS OF LXRY beurs in RAI, Amsterdam. is a product of 2Creatics.
bestaat uit 3 ringvormige metalen wijzerplaten die om elkaar heen draaien. is modulair opgebouwd, en bestaat uit een universele basis, waarop de wijzerplaten met magneten geklikt kunnen worden. De wijzerplaten zijn van staal en in alle RAL kleuren leverbaar. Daarnaast ook leverbaar in prachtige oxide kleuren (roodbruine roest / groene koper / blauwstaal), en zelfs in bladgoud. is een duurzaam product: Het bestaat uit recyclebare materialen, gaat een leven lang mee (er is geen onderhoud nodig), en alle onderdelen worden gemaakt in de regio Eindhoven en door lokale vakmensen gemonteerd. Het instellen van is een plezier: Je maakt met je telefoon contact met de klok via een eigen wifi verbinding en kunt via een menu elke gewenste tijd instellen. In een minuutje geregeld, zonder tussenkomst van een netwerk of computer. Het verhaal achter 2Creatics is een klein team van enthousiaste productontwikkelaars en designers. Press information is a completely new clock concept. With, René Holten and 2Creatics rethink clock design by eliminating the hours, minutes and seconds hands and splitting the face into rotating parts. is a design product as well as a piece of art. is the result of a succesfull cooperation between Dutch design and Dutch high tech industry in Eindhoven. Industrial designer of is René Holten, a Dutch top 25 designer and winner of several international design prizes, including Red Dot awards. Technical design by Gidy Knoors and Matthijs Hajer, engineers with many years of experience in High Tech product development. The clockwork was a special development for and could only be done with the use of experience and technologies gathered in the high tech industry. will be exhibited from 6-10 december 2018 at the MASTERS OF LXRY fair in RAI, Amsterdam. exists of 3 ring shaped metal dials that all rotate. is a modular design, with a universal clockwork basis, and custom configured with dials attached by means of magnets. Dials are made of steel, coated in standard RAL colours, and in special colours on request. Also available in beautiful oxide coatings (red brown rust / green copper / blue steel), and even Gold plated. Hidden behind the exterior sits an ingenious clockwork, specially designed for. is a sustainable product. It consists of durable materials that are all recylable. It lasts a lifetime and does not need any maintenance. All parts are locally manufactured in the Eindhoven region and assembled by professionals. Setting the time is a real pleasure. sets up a wifi connection to your mobile phone and you can set the time to any value you choose in the menu on your mobile phone, without the need for a network or computer.
