17 Conclusies en aanbevelingen Sourcing van Europa in Azie bij 30-40% initieel prijsvoordeel Opportunisme? Wat bepaalt prijsvoordeel als >50% materiaal is Waarom veranderen; definieer het doel : - situatie beoordeling nu en over 5 jaar en creeer alternatieven - kosten besparing en/of geografische markt spreiding Defineer de nadelen: extra tijd, extra kosten, extra risiko, inspecties, keur, testen, belasting, regelgeving, Definieer succesfactoren specifiek per product en markt: lagere arbeidskosten, betere technologie, kortere levertijd,.. Meestal zit het voordeel in arbeidskosten (hoog percentage vd prijs)

18 Conclusies en aanbevelingen Wärtsilä volgt de markt (klanten) als Total solution provider : - 90% vd scheepsbouw is in China, Zuid-Korea en Japan - De supply chain China en India als eerste in beeld De supply chain is aangepast vooraf en gelijk met off-shoring en re-shoring Ken de regels en wet geving: Bijv: sommige landen stellen eisen voor local content Lokaal zijn organisaties met kennis en vaardigheden ontwikkeld ( o.a. lokale strategische inkopers) Kortere doorloop tijden (capital tied up) Specifiek know how wordt niet uitbesteed of IP rechten liggen bij leverancier
