Voorinstellingsmechanisme De thermostatiseerbare ventielen hebben een mechanisme waarmee de hydraulische kenmerken voor wat betreft het drukverlies vooringesteld kunnen worden. Door middel van het manoeuvreermechanisme kunnen specifieke doorstroomoppervlakken worden geselecteerd, zodat de gewenste weerstand voor de vloeistofbeweging wordt gecreëerd. Elk doorstroomoppervlak heeft een specifieke Kv-waarde om het drukverlies te veroorzaken waarmee een bepaalde instellingsstand op een schaalverdeling correspondeert. Afhankelijk van de positie in de installatie kan het ventiel zo worden vooringesteld, dat een gemakkelijke en onmiddellijke uitbalancering van het hydraulische circuit wordt verkregen, die zowel geldt bij handbediende als thermostatische werking. Dispositif de pré-réglage Les robinets thermostatisables sont équipés d un dispositif permettant d effectuer le pré-réglage hydraulique du radiateur. À l aide d un mécanisme approprié, on peut sélectionner des sections spécifiques de passage, de manière à créer la résistance hydraulique désirée. Chaque section de passage détermine un Kv spécifique, pour créer la perte de charge. Pour chaque section correspond une position de réglage défini sur une échelle graduée. En fonction de la position dans l installation, le robinet peut être pré-réglé de manière à obtenir un équilibrage simple et immédiat du circuit hydraulique, valable aussi bien en fonctionnement manuel qu en fonctionnement thermostatique.
