2 Belangrijke mededelingen Koren en Kwartetten Lees deze instructies zorgvuldig! Communicatie Communicatie tussen deelnemers en de organisatie over optreden, routeschema etc. verloopt via afgevaardigde/scout van de deelnemers, en Head of Couriers (Ben van Heiningen). Try-outs Kwartetten: try-outs van 5 minuten staan gepland op vrijdagochtend. Kwartetten dienen zich zelf, op de daarvoor aangegeven tijd, te melden bij de Head of Couriers in de Diezehal. Kwartetten die donderdagavond al in de Koningshof zijn, kunnen dan ook gebruik maken van een try-out. Koren: geen try-outs, wel podiumverkenning. Zie verder bij podiumverkenning. Podiumverkenning Kwartetten: op vrijdagmorgen van 11:15-11:30 uur is er voor alle kwartetten gelegenheid voor podiumverkenning. Er kan dan niet worden gezongen. Kwartetten dienen zich zelf, om uiterlijk 11:10 uur, te melden bij de Head of Couriers in de Diezehal. Koren: zaterdagmorgen van 09:00-09:15 uur is er podiumverkenning voor de koren. Elk koor mag maximaal drie personen afvaardigen: de MD, de scout, en één andere persoon. Koren dienen zich zelf, om uiterlijk 09:00 uur, te melden bij de Head of Couriers in de Diezehal. Routing competitie Kwartetten: zorg dat je op tijd in de inzingruimte bent (kamer 25 of 26, zie schema) en blijf daar totdat je opgehaald. wordt door een courier. Houd rekening met eventuele in- en uitloop van de tijden. Volg de instructies van de courier op! Na de competitie word je voor de kwartetfoto naar de Baroniezaal begeleid door een courier. Koren: blijf in je eigen inzingruimte totdat het koor door een courier wordt opgehaald. De scout van het koor is aanspreekpunt voor de courier. Zorg dat je als scout herkenbaar bent en dat het koor klaarstaat! (zie tijdschema s). Houd rekening met eventuele in- en uitloop van de tijden. Volg de instructies van de courier op. Na de competitie worden de koren voor de foto naar de Baroniezaal begeleid door een courier. Op het podium Kwartetten: de puntentelling begint zodra het eerste kwartetlid op het podium verschijnt en eindigt pas dan als alle kwartetleden uit het zicht verdwenen zijn. Koren: voor koren is er een gordijn. De puntentelling begint zodra het doek open gaat en eindigt pas dan als het doek weer gesloten is. De dirigent krijgt de gelegenheid het koor op te stellen. Op teken van de stage manager gaat het doek open. Optreden in de show Ben je als 1 ste, 2 de of 3 de geëindigd in de Holland Harmony competitie of in de DABS competitie of heb je de WildCard gekregen, dan sta je in de zaterdagavond- of zondagmiddagshow. De briefing voor de scouts van de kwartetten/mc/stagemanager is op vrijdagmiddag direct na de kwartetcompetitie in de Beneluxfoyer De briefing voor scouts van de koren/mc/stagemanager is op zaterdagmiddag direct na de korencompetitie in de Beneluxfoyer. Meld je svp achter de coulissen/ Duur optreden: max. 12 min.(= 3 songs) incl. presentatie. Achter de coulissen liggen formulieren waarop je de songs kunt invullen die je tijdens de show zingt. Deze informatie hebben we nodig om te vermelden bij de opname van je optreden op de DVD. Storing tijdens optreden Als er iets tijdens het optreden gebeurt wat storend was, b.v. telefoon, deur, harde geluiden, dan kun je dit direct na het optreden doorgeven aan André (stage manager). Wijzigingen Zijn er nog wijzigingen in de volgorde van de songs, of andere afwijkende zaken. Geef het direct door aan de Head of Couriers of de stage manager. Vragen? Heb je vragen voor de Voorzitter van de Jury, of wil je verder nog iets doorgeven, dat kan. Meld je bij de HH-Infobalie (zaal 20), daar word je verder geholpen. Uitslagen Na afloop van de competitie kan een afgevaardigde van het kwartet of de scout van het koor bij de HH-infobalie 2 kopieen van de uitslag ophalen. Evaluaties Kwartetten en koren dienen 5 minuten voor aanvang van hun evaluatie (zie tijdschema, Het schema voor de koren wordt uitgereikt / is af te halen in zaal 20, vlak na de koorcompetitie) te wachten in de HollandFoyer (koren) of de UtrechtFoyer (kwartetten). Daar worden ze door een courier afgehaald en naar de evaluatie-zaal gebracht. Roken In de Koningshof geldt een algeheel rookverbod. Afterglow Vrijdag is de bar open tot uur, zaterdag in elk geval tot uur. Graag stilte op de hotelgangen! Opslag De zaterdagavond na de avondshow t/m zondag is de Baroniezaal beschikbaar voor opslag. De inzingzalen dienen om 23:30 uur leeg te zijn!! Hotelkamers Inchecken is mogelijk na uur. Hotelkamers dienen op de dag van vertrek om uur leeg te zijn. 3 Important information for choruses & quartets Please read these instructions carefully! Communication Communication between contestants and the organisation about performances, routing schedule etc. has to go through a representative/scout who speaks with the Head of Couriers (Ben van Heiningen). Try-outs Quartets: the try-outs are scheduled for Friday morning and will only last 5 minutes. On the indicated time, quartets need to report to the Head of Couriers in the Diezehal. Quartets who are in the house on Thursday evening can do their try-out then. Choruses: There will be no try-outs, just a briefing. See under briefing. Briefing Quartets: There will be an opportunity for all quartets to explore the stage on Thursday morning between 11:15 11:30 hours. It will not be possible to sing at this time. Quartets need to report to the Head of Couriers in the Diezehal, at 11:10 hours at the latest. Choruses: There will be an opportunity for the choruses to explore the stage on Saturday morning from 09:00-09:15 hours. Every chorus may send 3 representatives: the MD, the scout, and one other person. Representatives from the choruses need to report to the Head of Couriers in the Diezehal, at 09:00 hours at the latest. Routing during the contest Quartets: Please stay in your warm-up room until a courier comes to fetch you. Please keep into account that changes in the given time schedule may occur. Please follow the courier s instructions. After your performance in the contest the courier will take you to the Baroniezaal, where pictures of your quartet will be taken. Choruses: Please stay in your warm-up room until a courier comes to fetch you. Your scout will be the one with whom the courier will communicate. Make sure that your scout is recognizable as such and make sure the chorus is ready to go, (Please see the timetables). Please keep into account that changes in the given time schedule may occur. Follow the courier s instructions. After your performance in the contest the courier will take you to the Baroniezaal, where pictures of your chorus will be taken On stage Quartets: The scoring will start as soon as the first quartet member appears on stage and finishes first when all quartet members are out of sight. Choruses: There will be a curtain during the chorus contest. The scoring will start when the curtain opens and ends when the curtain is fully closed. The MD will have time to line up the chorus. The curtain will open on a sign from the stage manager. Performances in a show A chorus or quartet is qualified to perform in the Saturday Evening Show or in the Sunday Show, by finishing as first, second or third in the Holland Harmony or in the DABS contest or WildCard. The briefing for scouts/mc/stage manager is on Friday directly after the quartet contest and Saturday directly after the chorus contest. Please report in the Diezehal. A performance may last max. 12 minutes (= 3 songs) including the presentation. In the Diezehal forms will be available on which you can fill out the names of the songs you are going to perform in the show. We need this information for the MC as well as for the DVD registration. ) Disturbances during a performance In case of disturbances during a contest performance, such as a ringing phone, slamming door, loud sounds, please report this immediately after your performance to André (stage manager). Changes If there are changes in the order of the songs, or other changes, please report this immediately to the Head of Couriers or the stage manager. Questions? If you have questions for the Chairman of Judges, or if you want to report something, please go to the information desk in room 20 and they will assist you. Results After the contest the scouts/representatives of choruses and quartets may fetch two copies of the results at the Holland Harmony information desk (room 20). Evaluations Quartets and choruses should wait in the Holland Foyer (choruses) or the Utrecht Foyer (quartets) and they should be present 5 minutes before the start of their evaluation. Please consult the time schedule you have been given or that is available in room 20 at the reception desk. A courier will come to fetch you and take you to the evaluation room. Smoking There is a strict no smoking policy for the entire convention centre. Afterglow The bar will be open until hrs on Friday, on Saturday at least till hrs. Please be quiet in the hotel corridors. Storage The Baroniezaal will be available for storage from Saturday evening after the show though Sunday. The warming-up rooms need to be empty by hrs. Hotel rooms Check-in is from hrs. Checkout is at hrs on the day of departure. We hope you will have a fabulous time at our convention! Page 3
