After years of integration and relocations, we would now like to present our group of companies. Since November 19, 2010, the official opening of our new location, we have named our umbrella holding United Pipeline Products. This name highlights our internal unity / vision and the active sector in which our independent businesses operate. Since 19 November 2010, United Pipelinem Products has been made up of the following companies: 1. HUWA international pipeline products bv 2. ROMACON pipeline products bv 3. ROMACON Petro bv 4. GEKAVE international bv 5. HEGAWA bv Brought together in one new production and sales location, in response to the changing international environment in the water, gas, oil and energy markets. The individual companies will continue to operate independently, since this has proved very successful over the past 25 years. We now have a presence in over 50 countries and are proud to be the largest producer in Europe in the field of stainless steel repair clamps. We hope to continue to serve you in the future. Waterfall Project in Tanzania Our organization has been repairing and connecting drinking water pipes for the last 25 years. Having clean drinking water is essential for a healthy existence. We take it for granted, but unfortunately this is not the reality for many people. In this context, we decided to link our organization for a minimum of two years to the K.A.P. foundation www.skap.nl, which is working to provide a safe drinking water supply for a doctor s office and school in Tanzania. To achieve this we required an amount of e 25.000,- Therefore we created a foundation called Waterfall. The main goal of the foundation was to find as many sponsors as needed to provide the amount required. We walked a four-day walking event and sent out a lot of sponsor requests to find the sponsors we needed. With thanks to our wonderful sponsors, we were able to achieve the desired sponsor target of 25.000,- (we received 31.000,- in total) for the realization of water supplies at a doctor s office and school in Tanzania. The project started in Tanzania. It will be ready in mid-september 2011 During the opening of our new location, we handed over a cheque for 25.000,-, in the presence of our sponsors and customers, to Mr. Mulders, the chairman of K.A.P. Foundation www.skap.nl We will follow the progress of this project very closely. This project has meanwhile begun and should be completed in mid- September 2011. 9 Waterfall Project in Tanzania Onze organisatie heeft zich de afgelopen 25 jaar beziggehouden met repareren en/of koppelen van voornamelijk drinkwaterleidingen. Het hebben van schoon (drink)water, is van essentieel belang voor een menswaardig bestaan. Voor ons is het inmiddels een vanzelfsprekendheid dat dit aanwezig is, helaas ontbreekt schoon water nog voor velen. In dit kader hebben we als organisatie besloten onze naam voor minimaal 2 jaar te verbinden aan Stichting Kleinschalige Afrikaanse Projecten (SKAP). Zij gaan zorgdragen voor een drinkwatervoorziening van een dokterspost en een school in Tanzania. De wandelvierdaagse is gelopen en er is aan sponsorwerving gedaan. Met dank aan onze fantastische sponsoren is het ons gelukt om het gewenste doel van 25.000,- bij elkaar te krijgen (uiteindelijk zelfs 31.000,-) voor de watervoorziening van de dokterspost en een school in Tanzania. De cheque van 25.000,- hebben we, tijdens de opening van onze nieuwe locatie, in het bijzijn van onze sponsoren en klanten mogen overhandigen aan de voorzitter van SKAP (www.skap.nl), Dhr. Mulders. We zullen de vorderingen van dit project goed volgen. Om dit te verwezenlijken was een bedrag van 25.000,- nodig Hiervoor hebben we een stichting genaamd Waterfall opgericht. Deze stichting moest er voor zorgen dat de benodigde sponsoren binnen zouden worden gehaald. Het project in Tanzania is ondertussen gestart. Het zal medio september 2011 worden opgeleverd. We have been a leading global manufacturer of low pressure pipe systems for the water and gas industries for many years. However, until recently we lacked a suitable product program for the petrochemical industry.
