Vooruitzichten voor aluminium - Het blijft een cyclische metaal - en dat zorgt voor volatiliteit, gedreven door sentiment investeerders - Aluminium is een energie intensieve sector - en dat maakt prijs gevoelig voor prijsbewegingen in energie - Perspectieven voor vraag naar aluminium blijft relatief gunstig - met name bouw en autosector afhankelijkheid - Overcapaciteit drukt echter zwaar op de aluminium markt - hierin heeft vooral China een belangrijke rol - Geen zorgen over lange termijn beschikbaarheid - schaarste en aanvoer mijnen geen issue en dat drukt prijzen - Overheidsreguleringen krijgen een sterkere rol - m.n. op handelsbeperkingen, resource nationalism en vervuiling - Schokken in mondiale economie - Economische transitie van opkomende landen - CHINA.!
