1 Veelgestelde vragen over de connect-app De connect-app maakt de wifiinstallatie van Anna nog eenvoudiger. Het enige wat je nodig hebt is een smartphone, het Smile ID en het wachtwoord van het netwerk waarmee je Anna wilt verbinden. Anna installeren is nu werkelijk een fluitje van een cent! Kan ik de connect-app ook voor andere Plugwise producten gebruiken? Nee, dit is vooralsnog niet mogelijk. De connect-app is alleen geschikt voor gebruik met Anna (Smile T). Kan ik de app ook gebruiken op mijn iphone? De app is alleen beschikbaar voor Android. De reden hiervoor is dat Anna niet op dezelfde manier samen kan werken met ios als met Android. Wil je Anna via een iphone of ipad verbinden met het internet? Dit kan zoals beschreven in de Anna-handleiding. Waarom zijn de netwerken groen, oranje en rood gekleurd? Je hebt voldoende netwerkbereik nodig om de installatie te kunnen volbrengen. De signaalsterkte is uitgezet op een schaal van 0 tot 100, waarbij 100 de best haalbare signaalsterkte is. De kleuren geven het verschil aan in signaalsterkte van het netwerk: Groen is goed (>75) Geel is oké (50-75) Oranje is slecht (20-50) Rood is uitermate slecht (<20) Waarom kan ik mijn Smile-netwerk niet terugvinden in de lijst? Controleer eerst of de Smile T goed is aangesloten op het stopcontact en of de lampjes WLAN en Status knipperen. Alleen dan staat jouw Smile T in aanmeldmodus en kan het Smilenetwerk worden gevonden door de connect-app. Je kunt de Smile T zelf in aanmeldmodus zetten. Dit doe je door het zwarte knopje op de zijkant van de Smile T 5 seconden lang in te drukken. Je kunt meetellen met het lampje Status dat 5 keer knippert. Laat het knopje los wanneer het lampje WLAN snel gaat knipperen. Wacht totdat de Smile T weer is opgestart. Dit duurt Connect-app 1

De Smile T is dan al verbonden met een netwerk. Het is dan niet mogelijk de Smile T in aanmeldmodus te zetten. Is de signaalsterkte van het Smile-netwerk te zwak? Probeer eens de gateway te draaien of wat verder van de ketel te plaatsen om het signaal te versterken. Waarom kan ik niet verbinden met het Smile-netwerk? Je verbindt met het Smile-netwerk door het juiste wachtwoord in te vullen. Dit is het Smile ID en vind je terug op de sticker op de Smile T. Controleer of je het Smile ID goed hebt ingevuld. Het Smile ID bestaat uit 8 medeklinkers. Klik op toon wachtwoord in de app om te zien wat je hebt ingevuld. Waarom vindt de app niet het wifi-netwerk waarmee ik wil verbinden? Er wordt een match gemaakt tussen de netwerken gevonden door de Smile T en gevonden door jouw smartphone. De netwerken worden elke 10 seconden opnieuw opgehaald. Voor installatie via de app is het noodzakelijk dat beiden apparaten het netwerk vinden. Dit kan voorkomen als jouw smartphone een beter netwerk vindt waarvan je het wachtwoord hebt bewaard. Blijft de app langer dan 10 minuten hangen op de melding verbinden met het wifi-netwerk? Ga dan naar de wifi-instellingen van jouw smartphone en verbind met hetzelfde netwerk als waarmee je Anna wilt verbinden. Waarom kan de gateway niet worden aangemeld bij Plugwise Cloud? Het kan even duren voordat de gateway kan worden aangemeld bij Plugwise Cloud. Hiervoor moeten we je vragen geduld te hebben. Duurt dit langer dan 30 minuten, dan raden we je aan opnieuw de installatieprocedure te doorlopen in de app. Let op dat de Smile T weer in aanmeldmodus staat. Je kunt de Smile T zelf in aanmeldmodus zetten. Dit doe je door het zwarte knopje op de zijkant van de Smile T 5 seconden lang in te drukken. Hier kun je lokaal Anna bedienen, of via het menu links bovenin het scherm naar de instellingen van Anna navigeren. Stel hier alvast de woning- en cv-instellingen in voor jouw klant of update de Smile T als er een firmware-update voor je klaarstaat. Haal de stekker van de Smile T uit het stopcontact en plaats die terug. De Smile T zal opstarten in aanmeldmodus. Wacht totdat de Smile T weer is opgestart. Dit duurt ongeveer 5 minuten. This can happen when your smartphone finds a better network of which you have saved the password. Does your app linger in the notification connect with WiFi network for longer than 10 minutes? 7 Frequently asked questions about the connect app Why can t the gateway connect to the Plugwise Cloud? It may take a while before the gateway can be registered to the Plugwise Cloud. For this we ask your patience. Does it take longer than 30 minutes, then we advice you to go through the installation procedure in the app again. Please make sure that the Smile T is in registration mode again. You can put the Smile T in registration mode yourself. Press the black button on the side of the Smile T for 5 seconds. You can count with the Status light that blinks 5 times. Release the button as soon the WLAN light starts to blink quickly. Wait until the Smile T is restarted. This takes about 5 minutes. Now try to connect the Smile T to the WiFi network again. Still not working? Contact our help desk. When I click on Setting Anna I see the screen of Anna, what can I do here? When you click on the button Setting Anna the HTML interface of Anna will open. Here you can control Anna locally, or navigate to the settings screen of Anna via the top left menu. Set the housing and boiler details for your customer in advance, or update the Smile T if a firmware update is available. Can I also use the app to connect Anna to a WiFi network if Anna is connected via a LAN cable? Yes, that is possible. Please make sure that you first remove the LAN cable from the Smile T.
