The bid of the candidate must include an industrial component to demonstrate that the completion of the wind farm will lead to the development of an industrial sector. The bid should demonstrate the project's compatibility with the environmental sensitivity of the site. Consideration of the existing activities involves the optimization of the occupation of the implantation site, whether for maritime safety, or for the continued exploitation of fisheries resources or even pleasure and commercial navigation. Kortom: Nederland heeft een lange en rijke traditie en ervaring in offshore industrie de werkgelegenheid in offshore olie en gas neemt langzaam af de werkgelegenheid in de offshore windindustrie stijgt: in de landen om ons heen Nederland doet zichzelf tekort bij deelname in Europese (wind energie R&D) programma s zonder thuismarkt zal Nederland zijn (nog) sterke positie in de offshore industrie langzaam maar zeker verliezen aan de snel opkomende bedrijvigheid in de landen om ons heen (UK, D, DK, F) Het creëren van een THUIS-MARKT (per definitie in concurrentie) is de beste motor voor het aanjagen en in de praktijk brengen van innovaties en daarmee de snelste en goedkoopste manier om de kostprijs van offshore wind te laten dalen én aan onze duurzame energiedoelstellingen te voldoen én de noodzaak van overheidssteun te verminderen en is bovendien een belangrijke motor voor werkgelegenheid 20 september 2012, 24
