10 Amsterdam - In september wordt De Persoonlijke Gezondheidscheck (PGC) geïntroduceerd. Dit innovatieve preventieve gezondheidsonderzoek komt voort uit de samenwerking van Hartstichting, Nierstichting, Diabetesfonds, Longfonds, de Landelijke Huisartsenvereniging, het Nederlands Huisartsen Genootschap, de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Arbeids- en Bedrijfsgeneeskundigen, GGD Nederland en het NIPED instituut. De betrokken partijen geven hiermee concreet inhoud aan de doelstellingen van het recent gestarte Nationaal Programma Preventie Alles is Gezondheid, dat tot doel heeft de groei van het aantal chronisch zieken te keren en gezondheidsverschillen tussen groepen mensen te verkleinen.
