3 Dear colleagues, On behalf of the board of the Dutch Arthroscopy Society we would like to invite you to our annual meeting, which will be held in the conference centre De Heerlickheijd in Ermelo on Friday March 17th The title of the meeting is Future = Now. Mr Andy Williams from London, United Kingdom, Dr Geert Declercq from Antwerp, Belgium and Dr Jan Victor from Brugge, Belgium will present their views about current trends and possibilities in the future on respectively the knee and the shoulder. Fifteen experienced arthroscopists will present us their tips and tricks in a series of two minutes talks, to help improve our outcome and effectiveness. In a session hot or not topics like the multidirectional instability of the shoulder and patellar tendinopathy will be discussed. And a variety of workshops will enhance our skills. This meeting should be part of your life-long learning process in arthroscopy. 5 uur Workshops: Somas, NVA 17 maart 2006 Onderwerpen die aan bod komen zijn: Nieuwe knotless anker t.b.v. labrum-repair: de bio-pushlock: mogelijkheid om hiervan kennis te nemen en om deze zelf arthroscopisch in sawbone te plaatsen. Praktisch uitvoeren enkelarthroscopie op sawbone en kennis nemen van beschikbaar instrumentarium hiervoor. Kennis nemen van verschillende ankers t.b.v. labrum- en Rotator Cuff repair en het praktisch oefenen van het plaatsen van deze ankers. Kennis nemen van verschillende methoden om hechtdraad door weefsel te voeren bij labrum- en Rotator Cuff repair,en tevens dit zelf praktisch uit te voeren. Kennis nemen van bio-tenodesis-techniek: re-insertie-techniek van pees in bot, waarbij men volledige controle heeft op de spanning van de pees. Ook dit kan praktisch geoefend worden in een workshop.
