1 The Shift wil het Belgisch verzamelpunt worden voor mensen en organisaties die samen de maatschappij van morgen willen vormgeven en duurzame projecten willen realiseren die het verschil kunnen maken voor huidige en toekomstige generaties. Elk lid heeft een duidelijke intentie om aan deze ambitie bij te dragen en samen vooruit te gaan op het vlak van duurzaamheid. CONNECT The Shift wil partnerschappen tussen haar leden stimuleren en bouwt aan een omgeving waar de leden vol vertrouwen de dialoog kunnen aangaan en elkaar kunnen inspireren om nieuwe transformationele modellen op te zetten. The Shift streeft hierbij naar een samenwerking tussen unusual suspects : particulieren, verenigingen, bedrijven, overheden, niet-gouvernementele organisaties en iedereen die een bijdrage wil leveren aan een duurzame wereld. The Shift faciliteert een open uitwisseling en dialoog met haar leden. De leden van The Shift engageren zich om respect, openheid en transparantie aan de dag te leggen in de relaties met elkaar. COMMIT De Sustainable Development Goals (SDG s) van de Verenigde Naties bieden organisaties wereldwijd een kapstok om de krachten te bundelen met andere betrokken actoren voor een duurzame samenleving. The Shift vertaalde deze doelstellingen in concrete duurzaamheidthema s. Alle leden van The Shift engageren zich om een ambitie voor hun organisatie te formuleren rond één of meerdere maatschappelijke uitdaging en de nodige stappen te ondernemen om deze ambitie te realiseren. CHANGE Alle leden van The Shift hebben de intentie om mee te werken aan de realisatie van de missie van de organisatie. Binnen een uniek multi-actornetwerk wil The Shift haar leden uitdagen om op een vernieuwende manier samen te werken aan innovatieve projecten die bijdragen aan duurzame ontwikkeling in België. Door het tekenen van dit Charter, sluit de organisatie zich aan bij een netwerk waarin samenwerking een centrale rol speelt in de identiteit en missie. Het is niet de bedoeling van The Shift om individuele diensten aan de leden te leveren. 3 The Shift veut être le point de ralliement belge pour toute personne ou organisation qui souhaite façonner le monde de demain et qui désire développer des projets durables et innovants afin de faire la différence pour les générations présentes et futures. Chaque membre de The Shift s engage clairement à contribuer à cette ambition et à progresser ensemble sur le terrain du développement durable. CONNECT The Shift veut encourager le partenariat entre ses membres et s attèle à offrir un environnement de confiance où ses membres, s inspirant les uns les autres, peuvent se rassembler pour créer de nouveaux modèles de transformation. The Shift vise une collaboration intensive entre les mondes différents: individus, associations, entreprises, gouvernements, organisations non - gouvernementales et tous ceux qui désirent contribuer activement à un monde durable. The Shift facilite l'échange et engage le dialogue avec ses membres. Pour cela, ses membres s engagent à faire preuve de respect, d ouverture et de transparence dans leurs relations avec les autres membres. COMMIT Afin d œuvrer ensemble à une société plus durable, les organisations du monde entier vont pouvoir s inspirer du cadre des Sustainable Development Goals, un ensemble de 17 objectifs développés par l organisation des Nations-Unies, visant à renforcer la collaboration entre toutes les parties. Au sein de The Shift, nous traduirons ces différents thèmes en actions concrètes via l engagement formel de chacun de nos membres et l expression de leurs ambitions sur un ou plusieurs défis sociétaux. CHANGE Chaque membre The Shift exprime son intention de coopérer à la réalisation de la mission de l organisation. Au sein de ce réseau unique, multi-acteurs, The Shift vise à challenger et rassembler ses membres autour de projets concrets et innovants sur le terrain de la durabilité en Belgique, en collaboration avec les autres membres. En signant cette charte d adhésion, l'organisation rejoint un réseau dont la mission et l identité sont clairement axés sur la collaboration. 5 The Shift is the Belgian meeting point for any individual or organisation that has an ambition to make a difference for present and future generations. We help members develop sustainable business models and innovative projects. Each member of The Shift is clearly committed to contributing to this goal and to moving forward together in the field of sustainable development. CONNECT The Shift wants to encourage partnerships between its members. We offer a trusted environment where our members can come together and inspire each other to create new transformational models. The Shift strives to achieve an intensive collaboration between unusual suspects : individuals, associations, companies, governments, NGOs and anyone who actively contributes to building a sustainable world. The Shift facilitates exchanges and dialogues between its members. To this end, members show respect, openness and transparency in their relations with each other. COMMIT Organisations around the world can use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals framework to work towards a more sustainable society together. The Shift has translated these goals into a set of tangible themes. Each member engages itself to formulate their societal ambitions, whether or not based on these themes, and to take the necessary steps to realise those ambitions. CHANGE Each member of The Shift has the intention to contribute to the realisation of our organisation s mission. Shaping a unique multi-actor network, The Shift challenges its members to co-create tangible and innovative projects in the field of sustainability in Belgium. By signing this membership charter, the organisation joins a network where collaboration is a central part of our identity and mission.
