10 Bloed bestaat uit Rode bloedcellen: 0.7μm Belangrijkste functie is het zuurstof transport in het bloed. Plasma Rode cellen worden door plasma (heldere, waterachtige vloeistof) door het lichaam getransporteerd. Bloed van mensen bestaat voor circa 55% uit plasma. Witte bloedcellen: 6-20 μm Belangrijkste functie is het bestrijden van bacteriën en ziekteverwekkers. Plaatjes = 3 μm Belangrijkste functie is het zorgen voor stolling van het bloed. 10
