The summary of your master s thesis is a compulsory part of graduating. The summaries have to be handed in before October the 12 th. The summary can t be any larger then 1 A4 in Tahoma, size 10. Illustrations have to be attached as jpeg- or tiff file. Also mention the title, your name, the names of your thesis-committee (with correct titles and organisations) and the telephone number of the department. DCA serves as a hub for all the cutting-edge, multi-discipline research conducted at the TUD faculties. Our combined research efforts focus on finding the right balance between economic goals and environmental, safety and security concerns. The excursion will be English spoken and especially meant for the foreign students. The costs will be 5,- and afterwards we will have a drink together at the PSOR. You can sign on at the PS counter, opposite to the service pointer. BeleidsAV Op dinsdag 27 november zal het 14e bestuur haar beleid presenteren tijdens de BeleidsAV. Op deze Algemene Vergadering zal ook een aantal commissies haar plannen bekendmaken. De BeleidsAV begint om 18.00 uur in de PSOR. Vooraf kan er gratis worden gegeten, waarvoor je je moet opgeven bij de PSbalie. Inschrijven IR Hbo-cie Je kan je nu inschrijven voor de intercontinentale reis naar China. De reis zal in juli en augustus plaatsvinden en duurt ongeveer 3 weken. De kosten zijn rond de 1000 euro. De inschrijving sluit op 13 November. Naast alle activiteiten die commissies organiseren, is het belangrijkste doel van PS het verbeteren van het onderwijs. Voor de HBO-cie zoeken we nog een aantal HBO-instromers die zich dit jaar weer actief bezig gaan houden met de problemen die spelen rond het onderwijs. Dit houdt in dat je twee keer per blok vergadert en alle klachten doorspeelt naar de onderwijsdirecteur. Ben je geïnteresseerd, kom dan even langs de balie van PS. Post Scriptum, vervolg middagborrel In het kader van de Study Abroad Week zal van 19 t/m 22 november 2007 op onze faculteit de jaarlijkse voorlichting studie & stage buitenland worden georganiseerd. Gedurende vier dagen zal tijdens elke middagpauze een specifiek studieonderdeel worden uitgelicht. Dit zal gebeuren door middel van korte presentaties in en een kleine informatiemarkt op de eerste verdieping voor zaal G. Hierbij zal ook het International Office (Hoofdgebouw) vertegenwoordigd zijn. Tevens zal de brochure Studie & Stage in het buitenland Civiele Techniek worden uitgereikt. Study Abroad Week Op dinsdag 6 november zal er om 16.00 uur een middagborrel plaatsvinden op de entresol van PS. Het thema dit keer is het aankomende gala, met als thema My sweet chocolate ball. Kom gezellig een biertje drinken of een stukje chocolade proeven!
