Royal Delft, The original Blue Royal Delft, de Porceleyne Fles, is sinds 1653 de grootste en belangrijkste producent van Delfts Blauw en is vandaag de dag nog de enige producent uit de 17 e eeuw die zich in Delft bevindt. Zij bedenken en ontwikkelen nieuwe producten en laten zich daarbij inspireren door de meester-schilders van Royal Delft, die de verfijnde gildekunst van het aardewerk schilderen door overlevering en strenge selectie hebben geleerd. De samenwerking tussen de designers en Royal Delft meester-schilders leidt tot producten met een uitgesproken karakter; Delft Blue meets Dutch Design. The Blue D1653 products are designed by the (Dutch) guild masters of the 21st century; modern, known Dutch Designers.
