Wat is IHE Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise IHE is een wereldwijd initiatief van zorgprofessionals en ICT leveranciers om de manier waarop ICT systemen uit de zorg informatie uitwisselen en delen te verbeteren Co-creatie van eindgebruikers en leveranciers, competence centers, SDO s Op basis van vrijwilligheid Profielen: implementatierichtlijnen, definieren transacties (geformaliseerde interfaces) tussen actoren (software-modules) Zijn gebaseerd op geaccepteerde internationale standaards Gestandaardiseerde, testbare informatieuitwisseling tussen systemen Ondersteuning van ontwikkeling, testen en implementatie Werkt samen met o.a. HL7, IHTSDO, GS1, CEN, CDISC en ISO Inmiddels meer dan 150 profielen, waarvan XDS de bekendste is IHE is geen product, geen fabrikant, geen nieuwe standaard Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise 14

IHE profielen Implementatierichtlijnen voor interoperabiliteit Infrastructurele, inhoudelijke en workflow georienteerde profielen Beschrijft de basisfuncties van een applicatie / module, en hoe deze moet communiceren met andere modules Profielen bestaan uit de volgende delen: 1. Functioneel: use cases, swimming lanes, functionele procesbeschrijvingen 2. Technisch: actoren (systemen) en transacties (communicatieprotocol) 3. Inhoudelijk: welke informatie er wordt overgedragen (optioneel) 4. IHE profielen - ontwikkelproces 1. Klinische en technische experts stellen Use Case voor interoperabiliteit op 2. Technische experts maken technische specificatie voor de use case, gebruikmakend van bestaanden en geaccepteerde standaards (profielen). 3. Leveranciers implementeren deze specificaties in hun producten 4.
