1 Gebruiksaanwijzing hanghaard Vermont Van harte gefeliciteerd met de aanschaf van uw Livin flame hanghaard. Om vele jaren plezier te hebben van deze aanschaf, adviseren wij u deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door te lezen. Controleer voordat u de haard in gebruik neemt of het product onbeschadigd is. Na gebruik kunnen klachten op zichtbare gebreken niet meer in behandeling worden genomen. Plaatsing De haard kan uitsluitend hangend aan een wand gemonteerd worden. Let op, dat het wel een steenachtige wand betreft. De haard mag in geen geval tegen een brandbare (zachtboard) of behangen achterwand geplaatst worden. Plaats de haard nooit binnen een afstand van 75 cm bij brandbare materialen. Verwijder voordat u begint met de montage, voorzichtig al het verpakkingsmateriaal en eventuele beschermfolie van de onderdelen. Zorg ervoor dat het brandwerende paneel aan de achterzijde van de haard onbeschadigd en volledig aan de haard gemonteerd blijft. De haard is eenvoudig te monteren én te demonteren, wat betekent dat u de sfeerhaard eenvoudig kunt verplaatsen. Voor het monteren van de haard gebruikt u de meegeleverde schroefhaken en pluggen. De afstand tussen de twee haken dient 51,3 cm te zijn. Plaats de haard altijd waterpas en evenwijdig met de achterwand. Door de warmteontwikkeling rondom de haard is het mogelijk dat de achtergrond enigszins verkleurt na verloop van tijd. Gebruik Om uw sfeerhaard te laten branden, dient u het bio-ethanol reservoir tot 2 mm onder de rand te vullen met de originele Livin flame brandstof voor bio-ethanol haarden op basis van bio-ethanol. Gebruik de meegeleverde trechter om morsen te voorkomen. Indien er toch brandstof op of buiten het reservoir terechtkomt, zorg dan altijd dat dit eerst met een droge absorberende doek wordt verwijdert, alvorens u het reservoir in gebruik neemt. Gebruik voor het aansteken van de brandstof altijd een lange lucifer of een verlengde aansteker. Let op! Bio-ethanol op kamertemperatuur ontsteekt makkelijker dan koude brandstof. Na het ontsteken kan het enige tijd duren voordat u een geel vlammenspel ziet. Maximaal 10 minuten. Voor een optimale verbranding dient u de ruimte waar de haard gemonteerd is goed te ventileren. Let hierbij wel op dat tocht langs de haard een onrustig vlambeeld veroorzaakt, met soms grote vlammen en een verhoogd verbruik. Indien u de sfeerhaard eerder wilt doven plaatst u het meegeleverde deksel in één vloeiende schuivende beweging over het reservoir, laat het deksel op het reservoir. De resterende bioethanol blijft in het reservoir voor volgend gebruik. Haal het reservoir nooit uit de haard. 1

2 Veiligheid Gebruik alleen de originele Livin flame brandstof voor bio-ethanol haarden, met een alcoholpercentage van maximaal 80%. Het bijvullen van de bio-ethanol dient uitsluitend te gebeuren wanneer de haard niet brand en het reservoir volledig is afgekoeld. Werp nooit Livin flame bio-ethanol op een open vuur. Raak na het doven van het vuur nooit het reservoir met blote handen aan. Het reservoir kan een zeer hoge temperatuur hebben waardoor brandwonden kunnen ontstaan. Kies er altijd voor om het reservoir pas weer aan te raken en/of bij te vullen zodra u zeker weet dat het is afgekoeld (na ± 1 uur) of kies ervoor om het bio-ethanol reservoir met (oven) handschoenen aan te pakken. Vul het brandstofreservoir tot max. 2 mm onder de rand. Door het verwarmen van de vloeistof kan deze namelijk gaan borrelen. Gebruik de meegeleverde trechter, om morsen te voorkomen. Leg beslist geen takken, stenen of dergelijke in de vlammen of over het reservoir. Houd minimaal 75 cm rondom de haard vrij van brandbare materialen. Wees altijd alert op brandbare kleding bij open vuur. Laat geen kleren, handdoeken of andere voorwerpen op de haard drogen. Bewaar of gebruik geen ontvlambare materialen, vloeistoffen en of gassen bij de haard wanneer deze in gebruik is. Dek de haard nooit af tijdens gebruik. Door de warmte ontwikkeling rondom de haard kan de ondergrond mogelijk enigszins gaan verkleuren na verloop van tijd. Eventuele aanpassingen en of modificaties aan de haard mogen alleen door bevoegde personen uitgevoerd worden. Het gebruik van de haard door kinderen is verboden. Houd kinderen te allen tijde onder toezicht wanneer de haard in gebruik is. Gebruik door volwassenen die onder invloed zijn van drank, drugs en/of andere verdovende middelen wordt sterk afgeraden. Onderhoud Zorg altijd dat de haard niet brand en volledig is afgekoeld wanneer u de haard schoonmaakt. Wij adviseren u de haard af te nemen met enkel een licht vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen om de haard te reinigen om aantasting aan de toplaag te voorkomen. Het RVS dient u altijd na te wrijven met een droge doek. Bij hardnekkige vlekken kunt u een speciale RVS-reiniger gebruiken. Deze handleiding is een onderdeel van de sfeerhaard en dient bij de sfeerhaard te worden bewaard. In geval van verkoop aan derden moet deze handleiding worden meegeleverd. Livin flame is niet aansprakelijk voor schade veroorzaakt door ondeskundig en of onvoorzichtig gebruik van haar producten. Pour pouvoir profiter de longues années de votre achat, nous vous conseillons de lire attentivement ces consignes d utilisation. Avant d utiliser la cheminée pour la première fois, vérifiez s il n est pas endommagé. Une fois le produit utilisé, nous ne pourrons plus prendre en compte les réclamations pour défauts visibles. Installation Cette cheminée ne peut être installée autrement qu accrochée au mur. Attention, celui-ci devra être maçonné. Il ne faudra en aucun cas installer la cheminée sur un mur inflammable (panneau mou) ou tapissé. N accrochez jamais votre cheminée à moins de 75 cm de matières inflammables. Ôtez avec précaution l ensemble des matériaux d emballage et un éventuel film protecteur avant de commencer le montage. Veillez à garder le panneau isolant sur l arrière de la cheminée parfaitement intacte et en place. La cheminée d ambiance est facile à monter et à démonter, ce qui signifie que vous pourrez la déplacer aisément. Pour monter la cheminée, vous pouvez vous servir des chevilles et des crochets à vis fournis. La distance entre les deux crochets doit être de 51,3 cm. Il est important de toujours installer la cheminée de niveau et parallèle au mur. La chaleur produite par la cheminée peut légèrement colorer le mur avec le temps. Emploi Pour pouvoir faire fonctionner votre foyer d ambiance, vous devrez remplir le réservoir bio-éthanol jusqu à 2 mm du bord de combustible de la marque Livin flame pour cheminées bio-éthanol à base de bio-éthanol. Servez-vous de l entonnoir fourni pour éviter d en mettre à côté. S il tombe malgré tout du combustible sur ou à côté du réservoir, veillez à toujours l enlever à l aide d un chiffon sec et absorbant avant d allumer la cheminée. Prenez toujours une allumette ou un allumeur longs pour allumer le combustible. Attention! Le bioéthanol s enflamme plus facilement à température ambiante qu à froid. Une fois le produit allumé, vous devrez peut-être attendre un petit moment avant de commencer à voir des flammes jaunes. Jusqu à 10 minutes. Pour obtenir une combustion optimale, il est important de bien ventiler la pièce où est installée votre cheminée. Sachez qu un courant d air passant devant le foyer agite les flammes, peut les attiser et augmente la consommation. Si vous souhaitez éteindre votre foyer d ambiance avant la fin du combustible, il suffit de glisser le couvercle fourni sur le réservoir ; vous laisserez le couvercle en place. Le restant de bio-éthanol reste dans le réservoir pour une prochaine utilisation. Ne retirez jamais le réservoir de la cheminée. 3

4 Sécurité N utilisez que du combustible de la marque Livin flame pour cheminées bio-éthanol avec un taux d alcool de 80% maximum. Il est important de remplir le réservoir de bio-éthanol uniquement lorsque la cheminée est éteinte et le réservoir complètement refroidi. Ne projetez jamais de bio-éthanol Livin flame dans les flammes. Ne touchez jamais le réservoir à mains nues aussitôt après avoir éteint le feu. Le réservoir peut être très chaud et provoquer des brûlures. Vous pourrez le toucher ou le remplir lorsque vous serez certain qu il est complètement refroidi (au bout de 1 heure environ) ou bien en portant des gants isolants. Remplissez le réservoir de combustible jusqu à 2 mm du bord maximum. En chauffant, le liquide peut venir à ébullition. Servez-vous de l entonnoir fourni pour éviter d en mettre à côté. Il est formellement déconseillé de poser des branches, pierres ou autres dans les flammes ou sur le réservoir. Tenez toute matière inflammable éloignée d au moins 75 cm de la cheminée. Méfiez-vous des vêtements inflammables à proximité du feu. Ne faites pas sécher de vêtements, serviettes ou autres objets sur la cheminée. Ne conservez ou n utilisez pas de matières, liquides ou gaz inflammables près de la cheminée lorsqu elle fonctionne. Ne couvrez jamais la cheminée pendant qu elle fonctionne. La chaleur produite par la cheminée peut légèrement colorer le sol avec le temps. D éventuels changements ou modifications sur la cheminée ne doivent être effectués que par des personnes autorisées. Il est interdit de confier l usage de la cheminée à des enfants. Surveillez toujours les enfants lorsque la cheminée fonctionne. L usage de la cheminée par des adultes sous influence d alcool, drogues et/ou autres stupéfiants est fortement déconseillé. Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas d usage inapproprié ou de non-respect des consignes de sécurité ; dans ce cas la garantie ne s appliquera pas. Entretien Veillez à toujours nettoyer la cheminée lorsque celle-ci ne fonctionne pas et qu elle est complètement refroidie. Nous vous conseillons d essuyer le réservoir uniquement à l aide d un chiffon humide. Ne prenez jamais de détergents agressifs pour nettoyer le réservoir, pour éviter d en abîmer le revêtement extérieur. L inox a besoin d être lustré à l aide d un chiffon sec. Pour les taches rebelles, vous pouvez utiliser un nettoyant spécial inox. Ce mode d emploi fait partie de la cheminée d ambiance et doit être conservé à proximité du produit. En cas de revente, n oubliez pas de le joindre. Livin flame décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommage provoqué par un usage inapproprié ou irresponsable de ses produits. 5 Instructions for Use, Cleveland Wall Mount Fireplace Congratulations with the purchase of your Livin flame gel/bio-ethanol reservoir. To get many years of pleasure from this purchase, we advise you to read these instructions for use carefully. Before using the fireplace, check to see whether the product is damage free. Once in use, complaints concerning visible defects will no longer be handled. Installation The fireplace can only be mounted on a wall. Take care. This should be stone or similar hard wall. In any case, the fireplace should never be placed against an inflammable (soft board) or wallpapered rear wall. Always place the fireplace at least 75-cm away from flammable materials. Before starting the assembly, carefully remove the packing material and any protective foil from the components. Make sure that the fire-resistant panel at the rear of the fireplace is undamaged and fully mounted on the fireplace. The fireplace is easy to assemble and disassemble, which means that it is also easy to relocate. Use the supplied hook screws and plugs to assemble the fireplace. The distance between the two hooks should be 51,3-cm. Always install the fireplace level and parallel with the rear wall. With the heat generated around the fireplace, it is possible that the rear wall could show some discolouration over time. Use To ignite your atmospheric fireplace, you should fill the bio-ethanol reservoir to 2 mm below the rim, using the original Livin flame bio-ethanol fuel for bio-ethanol fireplaces. Use the funnel supplied to prevent spillage. If the fuel nevertheless runs out or gets outside the reservoir, make sure that you wipe it up with a dry absorbent cloth before using the reservoir. To ignite the fuel, always use long matches or a gas lighter. Caution! Bio-ethanol ignites at room temperature more easily than cold fuel. After lighting, it could take some time before the flames turn yellow (maximum 10 minutes). To ensure optimum burning, the area in which the fireplace is installed should be well ventilated. Note that a draught along the fireplace will cause the flame to be unsteady, sometimes resulting in oversized flames and increased fuel consumption. If you wish to extinguish the atmospheric fire early, place the lid (supplied) in a smooth sliding motion over the reservoir. Leave the lid on the reservoir. The remaining bio-ethanol will remain in the reservoir for use next time. Never remove the reservoir from the fireplace. 5

6 Safety Use only the original Livin flame fuel for bio-ethanol fires, with a maximum alcohol percentage of 80. Replenishing the bio-ethanol should only take place when the fireplace is not burning and the reservoir is fully cooled. Never throw Livin flame bio-ethanol on an open fire. After extinguishing the fire, never touch the reservoir with your bare hands. The reservoir can reach an extremely high temperature, which could cause burns. Do not touch and/or fill the reservoir until you are certain that it has cooled off (after approximately 1 hour); or wear (oven) protective mitts when handling the bio-ethanol reservoir. Fill the fuel reservoir to a maximum of 2 mm below the rim. As the fuel heats up, it could start to bubble. Use the funnel supplied to prevent spillage. Do not place branches, stones or the like in the flames or across the reservoir. Keep inflammable materials at least 75-cm away from the fireplace on all sides. Be careful when wearing inflammable clothing near an open fire. Do not place clothing, towels or other objects on the fireplace to dry. Do not store or use flammable materials, fluids and gases near the fireplace when it is in use. Do not cover the fireplace during use. As a result of the heat generated around the fireplace, the underground could show signs of discolouration over time. Any adjustments or modifications to the fireplace should only be made by qualified persons. Use of the fireplace by children is prohibited. Always supervise children when the fireplace is burning. Use by adults under the influence of alcohol, drugs and/or other anaesthetics is strongly discouraged. Liability will not be accepted and the warrant shall not apply in cases of improper use or failure to follow the safety instructions. Upkeep Before cleaning, always make sure that the atmospheric fireplace is not burning and has cooled completely. We recommend that you clean the inset fire using a damp cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents to remove corrosion on the top layer. You should always use a dry cloth to polish the stainless steel. For hard to remove spots, you should use a special stainless-steel cleaner. These instructions for use are part of the atmospheric fireplace and should be kept with the product. In case of sale to a third party, these instructions for use should be supplied with the product. Livin flame cannot accept liability for damage caused by improper or careless use of its products.
