3 Curriculum Vitae 121 Curriculum Vitae Christie Schoenmaker werd geboren op 26 augustus 1988 te Voorburg. In 2006 behaalde zij haar VWO diploma aan het Zandvliet College te Den Haag. In datzelfde jaar begon Christie aan de opleiding Pedagogische Wetenschappen aan de Universiteit Leiden, waar zij in 2009 de bacheloropleiding Gezinspedagogiek en in 2011 de research-masteropleiding Developmental Psychopathology in Education and Child Studies afrondde. Tijdens haar studie aan de Universiteit Leiden deed zij ervaring op in onderzoek en onderwijs als student-assistent bij de afdeling Algemene en Gezinspedagogiek (AGP). Zo was zij onder andere coördinator van de pre-master Pedagogische Wetenschappen, uitvoerder van een pilot-onderzoek in kinderdagverblijven en werkgroepdocent bij verschillende statistische vakken. In september 2011 begon Christie als promovenda op de afdeling AGP, waar zij onderzoek deed naar de ontwikkeling van geadopteerden in de jongvolwassenheid. De resultaten van haar onderzoek zijn beschreven in dit proefschrift. Naast haar aanstelling als promovenda heeft Christie één dag per week gewerkt als docent bij AGP. Ook is zij getraind in het uitvoeren van de VIPP-SD (Video-feedback Intervention to promote Positive Parenting and Sensitive Discipline) en het coderen van de ASA (Attachment Script Assessment).
