Always keep these instructions with the appliance even if you move or sell it. Users must fully know the operation and safety features of the appliance. Correct use Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation. The appliance is designed exclusively for domestic use. The appliance must not be used as a work surface or as a storage surface. Do not place or store flammable liquids, highly inflammable materials or fusible objects (e.g. plastic film, plastic, aluminium) in or near the appliance. Watch out when connecting electric appliances to sockets nearby. Do not allow connecting leads to come into contact with or to catch underneath the appliance or hot cookware. Child safety Only adults can use this appliance. Children must get supervision to make sure that they do not play with the appliance. Keep all packaging away from children. What to do if 7 Technical data 7 Installation 8 Environment concerns 11 IKEA GUARANTEE 11 General safety This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Ensure there is a continuous air supply while using the hob, keep air vents in good condition or install a cooker hood with a venting hose. Improve ventilation by opening a window or increasing the extractor speed. This appliance is supplied with safety device in form of the thermocouple. If after ignition of the burner or during use flame will go out and the thermocouple will not be heat up enough gas supply will be interrupted. Installation Warning! This appliance must be installed, connected or repaired only by a registered competent person to the relevant gas standard. Use only original spare parts. Make sure that the appliance is not damaged because of transport. Do not connect a damaged appliance. If necessary, contact the After Sales Service (refer to the Service chapter). Built-in appliances can only be used after they are built into suitable built-in units and work surfaces that meet standards. Do not change the specifications or modify this product. 5 ENGLISH 5 Do not install the appliance if it is damaged during the transportation. Safety during use Remove all packaging, stickers and film from the appliance before the first use. Warning! Fire hazard! Overheated fats and oils can ignite very quickly. Switch the burners off after each use. Risk of burns! Burners and accessible parts become hot during use. Make sure pots do not protrude over the edges of the cooktop. Product description How to avoid damage to the appliance To avoid damaging the hob, do not allow saucepans or frying pans to boil dry. Do not use the burners with empty cookware or without cookware. Never line any part of the appliance with aluminium foil. Never place plastic or any other material which may melt on the appliance Ultra-Rapid burner 2 Burner control knob 3 Removable pan support Burner control knob The hob burner control knob is situated on the front of the hob. Daily use Ignition of the burner Always ignite the burner before positioning pots or pans. To ignite the burner: 1. Push the control knob completely in and turn it counter-clockwise to the maximum position marked. 2 Symbol Description there is no gas supply / off position there is maximum gas supply / Ignition setting there is minimum gas supply 2. Keep the knob pushed for about 5 sec; this will allow thermocouple to heat up, and the safety device to switch off, otherwise the gas supply would be interrupted. 3. After the flame is regular, adjust it as preferred. If after a few attempts the burner does not ignite, check that the crown and its cap are in correct positions.

If the burner does not light after 15 seconds, release the control knob, turn it into off position and wait for at least 1 minute before trying to light the burner again. Important! In the absence of electricity You can ignite the burner without electrical device; Helpful hints and tips Energy savings If possible, always place lids on the pans. As soon as liquid starts boiling, turn down the flame to barley keep the liquid simmering. Use pots and pans with bottom fitting the size of burner used. Care and cleaning Warning! When switching on the mains, after installation or a power cut, it is quite normal for the spark generator to be activated automatically. Turning the burner off To put the flame out, turn the knob to the symbol. Warning! Always turn the flame down or switch it off before removing the pans of the burner. This appliance must be installed, connected or repaired only by a registered competent person to the relevant gas standard. Use only original spare parts. Manufacturer is not responsible for any injury to persons and pets or damage to property caused by failure to comply following requirements. Caution! To proceed with the installation refer to the assembly instructions. Warning! Installation process must follow the laws, ordinances, directives and standards (electrical safety rules and regulations, proper recycling in accordance with the regulations, etc.) in force in the country of use! Ensure that the local distribution conditions (nature of the gas and gas pressure) and the adjustment of the appliance are compatible before proceeding with the installation. The parameters of adjustment setting for this appliance are stated on the rating plate (refer to the Technical data chapter). Warning! The appliance must be earthed!

9 ENGLISH 9 Warning! Risk of injury from electrical current. The electrical mains terminal is live. Make electrical mains terminal free of voltage. Loose and inappropriate plug and socket connections can make the terminal overheat. Have the clamping connections correctly installed. Use strain relief clamp on cable. Important! You must observe the minimum distances to other appliances and furniture cabinets or other units according to Assembly Instruction. If there is no oven beneath the hob insert a dividing panel at a minimum distance of 20 mm from the bottom of the hob. Protect the cut surfaces of the worktop against moisture using a suitable sealant included in the product in fitting bag. The sealant seals the appliance to the work top with no gap. Do not use silicon sealant between the appliance and the worktop. Avoid installing the appliance next to doors and under windows as hot cookware may be knocked off the pan support when doors and windows are opened. Gas Connection Warning! This appliance is not connected to a combustion products evacuation device. Installation must comply with current local regulation. The connection of the cooktop to the gas pipe network or gas cylinder must be made by means of a rigid copper or steel pipe with fittings complying with local regulations, or by means of a continuous surface stainless steel hose complying with local regulations. If you see any abnormalities do not repair the pipe, contact local After Sales Service (refer to the Service chapter). The connection must be installed correctly, fixed into hob connection pipe. Otherwise it will cause leakage of gas Warning! Once the installation is complete, check the perfect seal of every pipe fixing. Use soapy water, never flame. Electrical connection Before connecting, check that the nominal voltage of the appliance stated on the rating plate, corresponds to the available supply voltage. Also, check the power rating of the appliance and ensure that the wire is suitably sized to suit the appliance power rating (refer to the Technical data chapter). The rating plate is located on the lower casing of the hob. The appliance is supplied with a connection cable. This has to be provided with a proper plug, able to support the load marked on the identification plate (refer to the Technical data chapter). The plug has to be fitted in a proper socket. If connecting the appliance directly to the electric system, it is necessary that you install a double pole switch between the appliance and the electricity supply, with a minimum gap of 3 mm between the switch contacts. The double pole has to be of a type suitable for the required load in compliance with the current rules. The connection cable has to be placed in order that, in each part, it cannot reach a 90 C temperature. The blue neutral cable must be connected to the terminal block marked with "N". The brown (or black) phase cable (fitted in the terminal block contact marked with "L") must always be connected to the live phase. Replacement of the connection cable. If the connection cable must be replaced, only a type H05V2V2-F T90 cable must be used. The cable section must be suitable to the voltage and the working temperature. The yellow/green earth wire must be approximately 2 cm. longer than the brown (or black) phase wire. To open the terminal block and reach the terminals, proceed as follows: 1. insert the point of a screwdriver into one of the two visible protruding part of the terminal block

10 ENGLISH exert a light pressure and lift The hob is supplied with a three pole terminal block designed for a 230 V connection. The yellow/green earth wire must always be connected to the terminal marked with the symbol. Upon completion, secure the connection cable with the cable clamp and close the terminal block. Gas setting conversion This model is designed for use with natural gas but can be converted for use with butane or propane gas providing the correct injectors. The injectors not supplied with the appliance have to be ordered from After Sales Service (refer to the Service chapter). For data concerning injector replacement, see chapter "Technical data" Warning! Conversion or replacement can only be performed by a registered installer. To replace injectors: 1. Remove pan support. 2. Remove burner cap and crown. 3. With a socket spanner 7 unscrew and remove the injectors, replace them with the ones required for the type of gas in use. 4. Reassemble the parts, following the same procedure backwards. Important! Replace the rating label (placed near gas supply pipe) with relevant one for the new type of gas supply before sealing the appliance. If the appliance is already sealed please stick it directly on the user manual booklet after Technical data chapter close to the rating plate drawing. You can find this label in package supplied with appliance If the feeding gas pressure will be different or variable, comparing with the required, you must install an appropriate pressure adjuster, which is not supplied with the product and if needed must be ordered separately from the local After Sales Service (refer to the Service chapter). The pressure adjuster must be fitted on gas supply pipe, in compliance with the rules of the force. The rating plate is located on the lower casing of the hob. Adjusting flame level When hob has been fully installed, it is necessary to check the minimum flame setting: 1. Turn the gas tap to the maximum position and ignite. 2. Set the gas tap to the minimum flame position then turn the control knob from minimum to maximum several times. If the flame is unstable or extinguished, follow the procedure further. 3. Re-ignite the burner and set to minimum. 4. Remove the control knob.

11 ENGLISH To adjust, use a thin bladed screwdriver and turn the adjustment screw until the flame is steady and does not extinguish, when the knob is turned from minimum to maximum, and vice versa (see following picture). 6. Repeat this procedure for all burners. 7. Reassemble the knobs. Warning! If the appliance is connected to liquid gas (G31 propane or G30 butane), the regulation screw must be fastened as tightly as possible. For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact your local council, your IKEA GUARANTEE How long is the IKEA guarantee valid? This guarantee is valid for five (5) years from the original date of purchase of Your appliance at IKEA, unless the appliance is named LAGAN in which case two (2) years of guarantee apply. The original sales receipt is required as proof of purchase. If service work is carried out under guarantee, this will not extend the guarantee period for the appliance, Which appliances are not covered by the IKEA five (5) years guarantee? The range of appliances named LAGAN and all appliances purchased in IKEA before 1st of August 2007 household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product. Packaging materials The materials with the symbol are recyclable. Dispose the packaging in a suitable collection containers to recycle it. Before disposal of appliance Warning! Do these steps to dispose the appliance: Pull the mains plug out of the mains socket. Cut off the mains cable and discard it. Who will execute the service? IKEA service provider will provide the service through its own service operations or authorized service partner network.

12 ENGLISH 12 What does this guarantee cover? The guarantee covers faults of the appliance, which have been caused by faulty construction or material faults from the date of purchase from IKEA. This guarantee applies to domestic use only. The exceptions are specified under the headline What is not covered under this guarantee? Within the guarantee period, the costs to remedy the fault e.g. repairs, parts, labour and travel will be covered, provided that the appliance is accessible for repair without special expenditure. On these conditions the EU guidelines (Nr. 99/44/EG) and the respective local regulations are applicable. Replaced parts become the property of IKEA. What will IKEA do to correct the problem? IKEA appointed service provider will examine the product and decide, at its sole discretion, if it is covered under this guarantee. If considered covered, IKEA service provider or its authorized service partner through its own service operations, will then, at its sole discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. What is not covered under this guarantee? Normal wear and tear. Deliberate or negligent damage, damage caused by failure to observe operating instructions, incorrect installation or by connection to the wrong voltage, damage caused by chemical or electro-chemical reaction, rust, corrosion or water damage including but not limited to damage caused by excessive lime in the water supply, damage caused by abnormal environmental conditions. Consumable parts including batteries and lamps. Non-functional and decorative parts which do not affect normal use of the appliance, including any scratches and possible color differences. Accidental damage caused by foreign objects or substances and cleaning or unblocking of filters, drainage systems or soap drawers. Damage to the following parts: ceramic glass, accessories, crockery and cutlery baskets, feed and drainage pipes, seals, lamps and lamp covers, screens, knobs, casings and parts of casings. However, if an IKEA service provider or its authorized service partner repairs or replaces the appliance under the terms of this guarantee, the service provider or its authorized service partner will re-install the repaired appliance or install the replacement, if necessary. This restriction do not apply to fault-free work carried out by a qualified specialist using our original parts in order to adapt the appliance to the technical safety specifications of another EU country. How country law applies The IKEA guarantee gives You specific legal rights, which covers or exceed local demands. However these conditions do not limit in any way consumer rights described in the local legislation

Inbouwapparaten mogen alleen worden gebruikt nadat ze zijn ingebouwd in geschikte inbouwunits of werkbladen die aan de normen voldoen. Wijzig de specificaties van het product of het product zelf niet. Gevaar voor letsel en schade aan het apparaat. Waarschuwing! Volg nauwkeurig de instructies voor elektrische en gasaansluitingen op. Indien het apparaat tijdens het transport beschadigd raakt, moet u het niet installeren. Veiligheid tijdens het gebruik Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal, stickers en folie van het apparaat, voordat u het in gebruik neemt. Beschrijving van het product Waarschuwing! Brandgevaar! Gebruik de branders niet met lege pannen of zonder pannen. Leg nooit aluminiumfolie over welk deel van het apparaat ook. 16 NEDERLANDS 16 Dagelijks gebruik Ontsteking van de brander Ontsteek de brander altijd voordat u er potten of pannen op plaatst. Om de brander te ontsteken: 1. Druk de regelknop volledig in en draai de knop linksom in de stand maximaal, die gemarkeerd is met. 2. Houd de knop ongeveer 5 seconden ingedrukt; daardoor wordt het thermokoppel opgewarmd en de veiligheidsinrichting uitgeschakeld, anders wordt de gastoevoer onderbroken. 3. Als de vlam regelmatig brandt, stel hem dan overeenkomstig uw wensen af. Als er geen elektriciteit is kunt u de brander zonder de elektrische voorziening aansteken; breng een vlam dichtbij de brander, druk de bijbehorende knop in en draai hem tegen de klok in op de maximale stand. Waarschuwing! Wees uiterst voorzichtig bij het gebruik van open vuur in een keuken. De fabrikant kan niet aansprakelijk gesteld worden in geval van onjuist gebruik van de vlam. Als de brander onbedoeld uit gaat, draai de bedieningsknop dan in de uitstand en wacht minstens 1 minuut voordat u hem opnieuw probeert aan te steken. Bij het weer inschakelen van de netspanning, na installatie of stroomuitval is het normaal dat de vonkontsteking automatisch geactiveerd wordt. De brander uitschakelen Om de vlam te doven zet u de knop op het symbool. Waarschuwing! Draai de vlam altijd lager of schakel hem uit voordat u de pan van de brander haalt. Gebruik potten en pannen met een bodem die overeenkomt met de afmeting van de gebruikte brander.

Schakel het apparaat uit en laat het afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt. Waarschuwing! Het reinigen van het apparaat met een stoom- of hogedrukreiniger is om veiligheidsredenen niet toegestaan. Waarschuwing! Gebruik geen schurende reinigingsmiddelen, staalwol of zuren, deze zullen het apparaat beschadigen. Om eventuele voedselresten te verwijderen, dient u de geëmailleerde onderdelen, de branderdeksel en vlamverdeler te reinigen met warm zeepwater. Problemen oplossen De bodem dient zo dik en vlak mogelijk te zijn. Onderdelen van roestvrijstaal dient u te reinigen met water en droog te maken met een zachte doek. Dit model is uitgerust met elektrische ontsteking, die bestaat uit een keramische "bougie" en een elektrode. Houd deze goed schoon om problemen bij de ontsteking te voorkomen. Vraag de klantenservice de gastoevoerleiding en de drukregelaar (indien aanwezig) regelmatig te controleren (deze service is niet gratis). Na het schoonmaken altijd afdrogen met een zachte doek. Dit apparaat mag alleen worden geïnstalleerd, aangesloten of gerepareerd door een geregistreerde en gekwalificeerde monteur ten aanzien van de betreffende gasstandaard. Gebruik alleen originele reserveonderdelen. De fabrikant is niet verantwoordelijk voor letsel aan personen of huisdieren of schade aan eigendom veroorzaakt door het niet opvolgen van de volgende vereisten. Let op! Raadpleeg de montageinstructies voor de installatie. Waarschuwing! De wetten, voorschriften, richtlijnen en normen die van kracht zijn in het land waar het apparaat wordt gebruikt dienen in acht genomen te worden (veiligheidsvoorschriften, correcte recycling overeenkomstig de voorschriften, enz.)! Verzeker u ervan dat de plaatselijke distributieomstandigheden (aard van het gas en gasdruk) en de afstelling van het apparaat in overeenstemming zijn voordat u het apparaat installeert. De instellingsparameters voor dit apparaat zijn vermeld op het typeplaatje (zie hoofdstuk Technische gegevens). Waarschuwing! Dit apparaat moet geaard worden! Waarschuwing! Risico op verwonding door elektrische stroom. De netaansluiting staat onder stroom. Schakel de stroomtoevoer naar de netaansluiting uit. Loszittende en onvakkundig aangebrachte stekkerverbindingen kunnen oververhitting van de aansluiting veroorzaken. Klemaansluitingen vakkundig uitvoeren. Zorg ervoor dat het snoer niet wordt belast door trekken. Belangrijk! U moet de minimale afstanden ten opzichte van andere apparaten en keukenkastjes of andere eenheden in acht nemen in overeenstemming met de Montageinstructies. Als er geen oven onder het kooktoestel is, plaats dan een scheidingspaneel op een minimale afstand van 20 mm van de onderkant van het kooktoestel. Bescherm de uitgesneden oppervlakken van het werkblad tegen vocht met een geschikt afdichtmiddel, zoals het product in het meegeleverde plastic zakje. De afdichting dicht de opening tussen het apparaat en het werkblad af. Gebruik geen siliconen afdichtmiddel tussen het apparaat en het werkblad. Installeer het apparaat niet naast deuren en onder ramen; warm kookgerei kan van de pannensteunen worden gestoten als deuren en ramen worden geopend. Gasaansluiting Waarschuwing! Dit apparaat mag niet aangesloten worden op een afvoerinrichting voor verbrandingsproducten. De installatie moet voldoen aan de geldende plaatselijke voorschriften.

20 NEDERLANDS 20 De aansluiting van de kookplaat op de gasleiding of gasfles moet uitgevoerd worden met een onbuigzame koperen of stalen pijpleiding met fittingen die voldoen aan de plaatselijke voorschriften, of met een roestvrij stalen slang zonder onderbrekingen die voldoet aan de plaatselijke voorschriften. Als u afwijkingen aan de leiding constateert, deze niet repareren maar contact opnemen met uw plaatselijke Klantenservice (zie hoofdstuk Service). De aansluiting moet correct geïnstalleerd worden, vastgezet aan de aansluitpijp van de kookplaat. Anders kan er gas gaan lekken Waarschuwing! Controleer, na voltooiing van de installatie, of alle leidingfittingen perfect afgedicht zijn. Gebruik hiervoor zeepsop en nooit een vlam. Elektrische aansluiting Controleer vóór de aansluiting of het nominale voltage op het typeplaatje van het apparaat overeenkomt met de aanwezige netspanning. Controleer ook het vermogen van het apparaat en zorg ervoor dat de bedrading de juiste lengte heeft voor het vermogen (zie hoofdstuk Technische gegevens). Het typeplaatje bevindt zich aan de onderkant van de kookplaat. Het apparaat is voorzien van een aansluitsnoer. Dit moet voorzien zijn van een geschikte stekker, die geschikt is voor de belasting die vermeld is op het identificatieplaatje (zie hoofdstuk Technische gegevens). De stekker moet in een geschikt stopcontact worden gestoken. Als het apparaat rechtstreeks aangesloten wordt op het elektriciteitsnet, moet u een tweepolige schakelaar monteren tussen het apparaat en de elektrische voeding, met een opening tussen de contactpunten van de schakelaar van minstens 3 mm. De tweepolige schakelaar moet geschikt zijn voor de vereiste belasting en voldoen aan de geldende voorschriften. Het aansluitsnoer moet zodanig geplaatst worden dat het nergens een temperatuur kan bereiken van 90 C. De blauwe neutraaldraad moet aangesloten worden op de eindklem gemarkeerd met "N". De bruine (of zwarte) fasedraad (gemonteerd in het contact van de eindklem gemarkeerd met "L") moet altijd worden aangesloten op de fase van het voedingsnet. Vervanging van het aansluitsnoer. Als het aansluitsnoer vervangen moet worden, uitsluitend een kabel van het type H05V2V2- F T90 gebruiken. De doorsnede van het snoer moet geschikt zijn voor het voltage en de bedrijfstemperatuur. De geel/groene aardedraad moet ongeveer 2 cm. langer zijn dan de bruine (of zwarte) fasedraad. Om het klemmenbord los te maken en de klemmen te kunnen bereiken, gaat u als volgt te werk: 1. steek de punt van een schroevendraaier in een van de twee zichtbare uitstekende delen van het klemmenbord 2. oefen een lichte druk uit en til het op De kookplaat is uitgerust met een driepolig klemmenbord, ontworpen voor een aansluiting van 230 V. De geel/groene aardedraad moet altijd aangesloten worden op de klem met het symbool.

21 NEDERLANDS 21 Maak ten slotte het aansluitsnoer vast met de kabelklem en sluit het klemmenbord. Omzetting gasinstelling Dit model is ontworpen voor gebruik met aardgas maar kan omgebouwd worden voor gebruik met een butagas of propaangas, door de juiste sproeiers te monteren. Deze sproeiers worden niet bij het apparaat geleverd, maar moeten besteld worden bij de Klantenservice (zie hoofdstuk Service). Zie, voor gegevens met betrekking tot de vervanging van de sproeiers, hoofdstuk "Technische gegevens" Waarschuwing! Ombouw of vervanging mag alleen verricht worden door een erkend installateur. Sproeiers vervangen: 1. Verwijder de pannensteun. 2. Verwijder de branderdeksel en de kroon. 3. Draai met behulp van een sleutel 7 de sproeiers los en verwijder ze, vervang ze door de sproeiers die vereist zijn voor het soort gas dat u gebruikt. 4. Zet de onderdelen in omgekeerde volgorde weer terug. Belangrijk! Vervang het typeplaatje (dat vlakbij de gastoevoerleiding zit) door het plaatje voor de nieuwe gassoort voordat u het apparaat afdicht. Als het apparaat al afgedicht is, plak het plaatje dan op de gebruiksaanwijzing, na het hoofdstuk Technische gegevens, in de buurt van de tekening van het typeplaatje. Het plaatje kunt u vinden in het zakje dat bij het apparaat geleverd is Als de druk van het toevoergas anders of variabel is, in vergelijking met hetgeen vereist is, moet u een geschikte drukregelaar installeren, die niet bij het product is geleverd en die apart besteld moet worden bij de Klantenservice (zie hoofdstuk Service). De drukregelaar moet op de gastoevoerleiding gemonteerd worden, in overeenstemming met de geldende voorschriften. Het typeplaatje bevindt zich aan de onderkant van het apparaat Vlamhoogte instellen Nadat de kookplaat volledig geïnstalleerd is, moet u de minimuminstelling van de vlam controleren: 1. Draai de gaskraan op de maximale stand en ontsteek de vlam. 2. Zet de gaskraan op de stand voor minimumvlam en draai de bedieningsknop een paar keer van minimum op maximum. Als de vlam onstabiel is of uit gaat, gaat u als volgt te werk. 3. Steek de brander weer aan en zet hem op de minimumstand. 4. Verwijder de bedieningsknop. 5. Gebruik een kleine platte schroevendraaier en draai de stelschroef tot de vlam stabiel is en niet dooft als de knop van minimum naar maximum wordt gedraaid, en omgekeerd (zie volgende afbeelding). 6. Herhaal deze procedure voor alle branders. 7. Monteer de knoppen weer.

22 NEDERLANDS 22 Waarschuwing! Als het apparaat aangesloten is op vloeibaar gas (G31 propaan of G30 butaan), moet de stelschroef zo vast mogelijk gedraaid worden. Milieubescherming Het symbool op het product of op de verpakking wijst erop dat dit product niet als huishoudafval mag worden behandeld, maar moet worden afgegeven bij een verzamelpunt waar elektrische en elektronische apparatuur wordt gerecycled. Als u ervoor zorgt dat dit product op de juiste manier wordt verwijderd, voorkomt u mogelijke negatieve gevolgen voor mens en milieu die zich zouden kunnen voordoen in geval van verkeerde afvalverwerking. Voor gedetailleerdere informatie over het recyclen van dit product, kunt u contact opnemen met de gemeente, de IKEA GARANTIE Hoe lang is de garantie van IKEA geldig? Deze garantie is vijf (5) jaar geldig vanaf de oorspronkelijke datum van aankoop van uw apparaat bij IKEA, tenzij het apparaat van het merk LAGAN is, dan geldt een garantieperiode van twee (2) jaar. De originele kassabon is nodig als aankoopbewijs. Als er tijdens de garantieperiode werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd, wordt de garantie- periode van het apparaat niet verlengd, dat geldt ook voor de nieuwe onderdelen. Welke apparatuur valt niet onder de vijf (5) jaar garantie van IKEA? De apparaten van het merk LAGAN en alle apparaten die gekocht zijn vóór 1 augustus Wie zal de service uitvoeren? De IKEA servicedienst zal de service uitvoeren via het eigen bedrijf of het erkende servicepartnernetwerk. IKEA Zweden AB SE Älmhult gemeentereiniging of de winkel waar u het product hebt gekocht. Verpakkingsmaterialen De materialen met het symbool zijn recyclebaar. Gooi de verpakking in een geschikte verzamelcontainer om deze te recyclen. Voordat u het apparaat afvoert Waarschuwing! Voer de volgende stappen om het apparaat af te voeren: Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact. Snijd het netsnoer door en gooi het weg. Wat valt er onder de garantie? De garantie dekt storingen van het apparaat, die veroorzaakt zijn door verkeerde constructie of materiaalfouten vanaf de aankoopdatum bij IKEA. Deze garantie is uitsluitend van toepassing bij huishoudelijk gebruik. De uitzonderingen worden onder de hoofding Wat valt er niet onder deze garantie? gespecificeerd. Binnen de garantieperiode worden er geen kosten om de storing te verhelpen aangerekend, d.w.z. reparaties, onderdelen, arbeidsloon en transport, op voorwaarde dat het apparaat toegankelijk is voor reparatie zonder speciale kosten en dat het defect betrekking heeft op verkeerde constructie of materiaalfouten die onder de garantie vallen. Op deze voorwaarden zijn de EG-richtlijnen (Nr. 99/44/EG) en de respectievelijke plaatselijke voorschriften van toepassing. Vervangen onderdelen worden het eigendom van IKEA.

23 NEDERLANDS 23 Wat zal IKEA doen om het probleem op te lossen? De door IKEA aangestelde servicedienst zal het product onderzoeken en bepalen, dit uitsluitend ter eigen beoordeling, of het gedekt wordt door deze garantie. Als het gedekt blijkt te zijn, zal de IKEA servicedienst of de erkende servicepartner dan via het eigen bedrijf, uitsluitend ter eigen beoordeling, ofwel het defecte product repareren of het vervangen door hetzelfde of een vergelijkbaar product. Wat valt er niet onder deze garantie? Normale slijtage. Opzettelijk aangebrachte schade of schade door verwaarlozing, schade veroorzaakt door het niet opvolgen van de bedieningshandleiding, onjuiste installatie of aansluiting op een verkeerd voltage, schade veroorzaakt door chemische of elektro-chemische reactie, roest, corrosie of waterschade, maar niet beperkt tot schade veroorzaakt door overmatig kalkgehalte van de watertoevoer, schade veroor zaakt door abnormale omgevingsomstandigheden. Verbruiksonderdelen, met inbegrip van batterijen en lampjes. Niet-functionele en decoratieve onderdelen die niet van invloed zijn op het normale gebruik van het apparaat, inclusief eventuele krassen en mogelijke kleurverschillen. Onvoorziene schade veroorzaakt door vreemde voor-werpen of stoffen en het reinigen of deblokkeren van filters, afvoersystemen of wasmiddellades. Schade aan de volgende onderdelen: glaskeramiek, accessoires, serviesgoed en bestekmandjes, toevoer- en afvoerpijpen, afdichtingen, lampen en lampenkapjes, schermen, knoppen, behuizingen en gedeeltes van behuizingen, tenzij kan worden aangetoond dat deze veroorzaakt zijn door fabricagefouten. Gevallen waarbij geen storing geconstateerd kon worden tijdens het bezoek van een technicus. Reparaties die niet zijn uitgevoerd door onze aange-stelde servicediensten en/of een erkende contractuele servicepartner of wanneer er niet-originele onderdelen gebruikt zijn. Reparaties die veroorzaakt zijn door installatie die verkeerd of niet in overeenstemming met de specificatie is uitgevoerd. Gebruik van het apparaat in niet-huishoudelijke omgeving d.w.z. professioneel gebruik. Transportschade. Indien het apparaat door een klant naar zijn huis of een ander adres vervoert, kan IKEA niet aansprakelijk gesteld worden voor eventuele transportschade. Indien IKEA het apparaat aflevert op het door de klant aangegeven adres, dan is eventuele schade die ontstaan is tijdens de aflevering gedekt door de garantie. Kosten voor de uitvoering van de installatie van het IKEA-apparaat. Indien de IKEA servicedienst of de erkende servicepartner het apparaat, binnen de voorwaarden van deze garantie, repareert of vervangt, zal de servicedienst of de erkende servicepartner, indien nodig, het gerepareerde apparaat of het vervangende apparaat installeren. Deze beperking is niet van toepassing op foutloze werkzaamheden uitgevoerd door een gekwalificeerd specialist met gebruik van onze originele onderdelen teneinde het apparaat aan te passen aan de technische veiligheidsspecificaties van een ander EU-land. Hoe zijn de landelijke wetten van toepassing De garantie van IKEA geeft u specifieke wettelijke rechten, die op zijn minst voldoen aan alle plaatselijke wettelijke eisen die per land verschillend zijn. Gebied van geldigheid Voor apparaten die in een EU-land zijn aangeschaft en meegenomen worden naar een ander EU-land, zal de dienstverlening uitgevoerd worden in het kader van de garantievoorwaarden die in het nieuwe land gebruikelijk zijn. Een verplichting om diensten te verlenen in het kader van de garantie bestaat uitsluitend als:

24 NEDERLANDS 24 het apparaat en de installatie ervan voldoen aan de technische specificaties van het land waarin aanspraak gemaakt wordt op de garantie; het apparaat en de installatie ervan in overeen-stemming zijn met de montage-instructies en de veiligheidsinformatie die in de gebruikershandleiding staan. De speciale Klantenservice voor apparaten van IKEA: Aarzel alstublieft niet om contact op te nemen met de speciale IKEA Klantenservice om: 1. een beroep te doen op deze garantie; 2. uitleg te vragen over de installatie van het IKEA appa-raat in het daarvoor bedoelde keukenmeubel van IKEA. De service geeft u geen uitleg met betrekking tot: de volledige installatie van uw IKEA keuken; aansluitingen op het elektriciteitsnet (als het appa-raat geleverd wordt zonder stekker en kabel), op de water- en gasleiding, want dit moet gedaan worden door een erkend installateur. 3. uitleg te vragen over de gebruikershandleiding en de specificaties van het IKEA apparaat. Om ervoor te zorgen dat wij u de beste service verlenen, verzoeken wij u de montage-instructies en/of de gebrui- kershandleiding in dit boekje zorgvuldig te lezen voordat u contact met ons opneemt. Hoe kunt u ons bereiken als u hulp nodig hebt Op de laatste pagina van deze handleiding vindt u de volledige lijst van door IKEA erkende servicebedrijven met de bijbehorende nationale telefoonnummers. Belangrijk! Om u sneller van dienst te kunnen zijn, advi-seren wij u de specifieke telefoonnummers te bellen die aan het eind van deze handleiding vermeld zijn. Gebruik altijd de telefoon-nummers die in het boekje staan van het apparaat waarvoor u assistentie nodig heeft. Zorg ervoor dat u het artikelnummer (8 cijfers) van het IKEA apparaat bij de hand hebt, voordat u ons belt om assistentie te vragen. Belangrijk! BEWAAR DE KASSABON! Dit is uw aankoopbewijs en nodig om de garantie te doen gelden. Op de kassabon staat ook de naam van het IKEA artikel en het nummer (8 cijfers) voor elk apparaat dat u gekocht heeft.
