14 Europees toegankelijkheidsbeleid: PSI voorstel Het betreft een voorstel tot een Richtlijn: mogelijk eind van 2003 geaccepteerd door Europees Parlement en Raad Evaluatie na 3 jaar met name gericht op tarievenaspect 23 June

15 Gevolgen PSI voorstel voor Nederland Geen grote gevolgen: Transparantie van voorwaarden verbeteren Overig is conform huidige praktijk/ beleid 23 June

18 INSPIRE: Proposed policy measure: metadata Metadata needs to be made available in order to help users identify and locate relevant datasets. The core datasets in the short term and the other spatial datasets in the medium term are documented according to common standards and that the metadata is updated (principe 3) 23 June

20 INSPIRE: Proposed policy measure The Commission would need to establish and operate an EU-Portal that would provide a multilingual point of access to the spatial data and services accessible through the network (principe 11) 23 June

21 INSPIRE: Proposed policy measure Member states would be required to establish a licensing framework for sharing spatial data between public sector bodies that provides: For all public bodies, exchange of spatial data that is free of barriers of a transactional, procedural, legal or financial nature Unrestricted rights of use for public sector bodies related to the performance of their public tasks (principe 12) 23 June

22 INSPIRE: Proposed policy measure INSPIRE could request a more general licensing framework governing all spatial data of the infrastructure This could cover: 1) use by citizens 2) commercial re-use (principe 13) 23 June

23 INSPIRE: Proposed policy measure Viewing of all INSPIRE datasets should be free of charge to all users. (Principe 14) 23 June

24 Gevolgen INSPIRE voor Nederland INSPIRE zal de kenbaarheid van Nederlandse gegevens bevorderen INSPIRE zal bestaande praktijk vwb toegang (verder) kunnen concretiseren Gebruik wordt geregeld door PSI voorstel 23 June

25 Conclusie Europese ontwikkelingen op het gebied van toegankelijkheid zijn een belangrijke stap voor de verdere ontwikkeling van de Europese Geografische Informatie Infrastructuur en sluiten aan bij bestaande beleidslijnen en/of voornemens in Nederland 23 June
