Virtueel Bouwen met behulp van Building Information Model (meer dan 3D ontwerp) in combinatie met gegevens uit andere systemen (zoals GIS: Geografische Informatie Systeem) verrijken van het BIM model: tbv dashboard informatie aan de voorkant verzamelen Waarom? beperken faalkosten bouw, in vroeg stadium zicht op Life Cycle Costs (L.C.C.) beslissing ondersteuning (keuzes) optimaliseren interne ontwerpproces (pressure cooker) ontwerp ondersteuning (fouten vermijden informatie overdracht) enkelvoudig data invoeren (in 1 keer goed) samenwerkingsmodel aannemers gebruiker begrijpt 3D (makkelijker dan 2D) op termijn: datamanagement gebouwen, 1 systeem voor tekeningen etc. (nu meerdere systemen) STREAMER project 24
