Gebruiksaanwijzing Hanghaard Portland Van harte gefeliciteerd met de aanschaf van uw Livin flame hanghaard. Om vele jaren plezier te hebben van deze aanschaf, adviseren wij u deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door te lezen. Controleer voordat u de haard in gebruik neemt of het product onbeschadigd is. Na gebruik kunnen klachten op zichtbare gebreken niet meer in behandeling worden genomen. Plaatsing De haard kan uitsluitend hangend aan een wand gemonteerd worden. Verwijder voordat u begint met de montage, voorzichtig al het verpakkingsmateriaal en eventuele beschermfolie van de onderdelen. Belangrijk! Plaats uw haard nooit direct onder de stroomvoorziening. Zorg ervoor dat uw haard dicht bij een stroomvoorziening geplaatst wordt, maar houdt de stroomvoorziening vrij en bereikbaar om eenvoudig de stekker uit de stroomvoorziening te kunnen halen. Montage De haard is eenvoudig te monteren én te demonteren, wat betekent dat u de sfeerhaard eenvoudig kunt verplaatsen. De haard bestaat uit 2 onderdelen; het frame en de elektrische haard. Op de volgende pagina wordt stapsgewijs toegelicht hoe u de sfeerhaard aan de wand monteert. 1

Stap 1 en 2. Schuif het frame, vanaf de achterkant, om de elektrische haard. Aan beide zijkanten van de inzethaard zijn reeds 2 metalen plaatjes gemonteerd. Schuif het frame geheel over deze metalen plaatjes. De haakjes aan het einde van deze plaatjes zorgen ervoor dat het frame in de juiste positie blijft. Wanneer de haakjes onder het frame vast blijven zitten, dient u deze voorzichtig achter het frame te manoeuvreren. Stap 3. Monteer vervolgens de haard aan de wand met behulp van de meegeleverde schroeven en pluggen. De schroeven dienen met een h.o.h. afstand van 36 cm in de muur bevestigd te worden. Plaats de haard altijd waterpas en evenwijdig met de achterwand. Wanneer de schroeven in de muur bevestigd zijn, kunt u uw haard ophangen. 2

Gebruik Plaats de stekker in de stroomvoorziening. Zet de haard aan middels de schakelaar aan het snoer. U haard start direct met branden. Met de meegeleverde afstandsbediening kunt u de haard bedienen. Indien de elektrische haard langere tijd niet wordt gebruikt raden wij u aan de elektrische haard van de stroomvoorziening af te halen door de schakelaar uit te zetten en de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen. De afstandsbediening heeft twee functies. Knop A zorgt ervoor dat de elektrische haard aan/uit wordt gezet. Met knop B, kunt u kiezen tussen drie verschillende standen van het vuurspel. Waarschuwingen Neem deze elektrische haard niet in gebruik wanneer het toestel zelf of het netsnoer sporen van schade vertonen. Deze elektrische haard mag niet gebruikt worden in een vochtige omgeving (bijvoorbeeld een badkamer). Deze haard heeft een ventilator aan de onderkant. Zorg ervoor dat de luchtstroom in geen geval belemmerd wordt. Deze haard is alleen bestemd voor gebruik binnenshuis. Sluit de haard nooit aan op een tijdschakelaar of een ander dergelijk apparaat dat de haard automatisch inschakelt. Verwijder bij een mogelijk defect direct de stekker uit de stroomvoorziening. Plaats geen (brandbare) objecten over de elektrische haard heen. Zet de haard niet aan tot het moment dat het compleet geplaatst is. 3

Onderhoud Waarschuwing! Zorg altijd dat de elektrische haard van de stroomvoorziening af is gehaald alvorens u onderhoudswerkzaamheden verricht. Reiniging Wij adviseren u de haard enkel af te nemen met een licht vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen om de haard te reinigen om aantasting aan de toplaag te voorkomen. Gebruik tevens nooit veel water aangezien het een elektrisch apparaat betreft dat niet geheel waterdicht is. Indien u heeft gekozen voor de Portland haard met een RVS frame, dient u het RVS oppervlak altijd na te wrijven met een droge doek. Bij hardnekkige vlekken kunt u een speciale RVS reiniger gebruiken. Vervangen gloeilamp Eerst de elektrische haard van het stroomnet afhalen! Gloeilampen hebben een beperkte levensduur en dienen na verloop van tijd te worden vervangen. Vraag uw aankoopadres naar de mogelijkheden voor het nabestellen van een gloeilamp. Gebruik de volgende gebruiksaanwijzing om de gloeilamp te vervangen: Verwijder de elektrische haard uit het frame Draai de vier schroeven aan de zijkanten van de elektrische haard los en neem het scherm aan de voorzijde uit de haard. U kunt de lamp vervangen. Wanneer u de lamp heeft vervangen dient u het scherm terug te plaatsen en te monteren middels de vier schroeven aan de zijkanten. Onderdelen Vraag uw aankoopadres naar de mogelijkheden voor het bestellen van onderdelen. Garantie Uw elektrische haard heeft 24 maanden garantie. Mocht uw apparaat niet meer functioneren binnen deze termijn, kunt u zich wenden tot uw aankoopadres. Mode d emploi de la cheminée murale Portland Nous vous félicitons pour l achat de votre cheminée murale Livin flame. Pour pouvoir profiter de longues années de votre achat, nous vous conseillons de lire attentivement ces consignes d utilisation. Avant d utiliser la cheminée pour la première fois, vérifiez si elle n est pas endommagée. Une fois le produit utilisé, nous ne pourrons plus prendre en compte les réclamations pour défauts visibles. Installation Cette cheminée ne peut être installée autrement qu accrochée au mur. Ôtez avec précaution l ensemble des matériaux d emballage et un éventuel film protecteur avant de commencer le montage. Important! N installez jamais votre cheminée immédiatement sous la prise. Installez-la à proximité d une prise, mais veillez à garder celle-ci libre et accessible afin de pouvoir débrancher votre cheminée facilement. Montage La cheminée se monte et se démonte facilement, ce qui signifie qu il sera facile de changer votre cheminée d ambiance de place. Elle se compose de deux éléments : un cadre et un foyer électrique. En page suivante, il vous est expliqué pas à pas comment accrocher votre cheminée d ambiance au mur. 6

Étapes 1 et 2. Glissez le cadre par l arrière autour du foyer électrique. L insert est doté de 2 petites pattes métalliques sur chaque face latérale. Glissez le cadre entièrement au-delà de ces petites pattes. Les crochets au bout des pattes maintiendront le cadre en place. Si ces crochets devaient s accrocher sous le cadre, poussez doucement ce dernier au-delà des crochets. Étape 3. Accrochez maintenant la cheminée au mur à l aide des vis et chevilles fournies. Les vis doivent être fixées dans le mur à une distance d axe en axe de 36 cm. Installez la cheminée de niveau et parallèle au mur. Lorsque les vis sont fixées dans le mur, vous pouvez accrochez votre cheminée. 7

Emploi Branchez la fiche dans la prise électrique. Allumez votre cheminée par l interrupteur sur le fil. Elle fonctionnera aussitôt. Vous pourrez régler la cheminée à l aide de la télécommande fournie. Si vous ne vous servez pas de votre cheminée électrique pendant un bon moment, nous vous conseillons de la débrancher en mettant le réglage à zéro et en retirant la fiche de la prise électrique. La télécommande est dotée de deux fonctions. Le bouton A assure la fonction marche/arrêt. Le bouton B vous permet de choisir entre trois jeux de flammes différentes. Avertissements Ne vous servez pas de cette cheminée électrique lorsque l appareil ou le fil électrique sont endommagés. Cette cheminée électrique ne doit pas être utilisée dans un environnement humide (salle de bains, par exemple). Cette cheminée est équipée d un ventilateur sur le dessous. Veillez dans tous les cas à ne pas entraver le flux d air. Cette cheminée est exclusivement destinée à un usage en intérieur. Ne branchez jamais votre cheminée sur une minuterie ou autre appareil d allumage automatique. Si vous craignez une panne, retirez aussitôt la fiche de la prise. Ne posez pas d objets (inflammables) par-dessus la cheminée électrique. Ne branchez pas la cheminée avant qu elle soit correctement installée. 8

Entretien Avertissement! Toujours débrancher la cheminée électrique avant tout entretien. Nettoyage Nous vous conseillons d essuyer votre cheminée à l aide d un chiffon légèrement humide seulement. Ne prenez jamais de détergents agressifs pour nettoyer la cheminée, pour éviter d en abîmer le revêtement extérieur. Utilisez peu d eau, car il s agit d un appareil électrique qui n est pas parfaitement étanche. Si votre choix s est porté sur la cheminée Portland au cadre inox, vous devrez finir d essuyer la surface en inox à l aide d un chiffon sec. En cas de taches rebelles, vous pouvez utiliser un nettoyant spécial inox. Remplacer l ampoule Commencez par débrancher votre cheminée électrique! Les lampes à incandescence ont une durée de vie limitée et doivent être remplacées au bout d un certain temps. Renseignez-vous auprès de votre revendeur sur les modalités de commande de la lampe. Respectez le mode d emploi ci-dessous pour la remplacer : Retirez la cheminée électrique de son cadre Dévissez les quatre vis sur les faces latérales de la cheminée et retirez l écran par le devant. Vous pouvez remplacer la lampe. Lorsque vous avez remplacé la lampe, vous devrez remettre l écran en place et le fixer à l aide des quatre vis sur les faces latérales. Pièces détachées Renseignez-vous auprès de votre revendeur sur les modalités de commande des pièces détachées. Instructions for Use, Portland Wall Mount Fireplace Congratulations with the purchase of your Livin flame wall mount fireplace. To enjoy many years of pleasure from this purchase, we advise you to read the instructions for use carefully. Before using the fireplace, check to see whether the product is damage free. Once in use, complaints concerning visible defects will no longer be handled. Installation The fireplace can only be mounted on a wall. Before installing the unit, carefully remove the packing material and any protective foil from the components. Caution! Never place your fireplace directly beneath the power supply. Make sure that you can place your fireplace close to a power supply point, but keep the power point free and reachable so that you can easily remove the plug from the socket. Assembly The fireplace is easy to assemble and disassemble, which means that you can easily relocate the atmospheric fireplace. The fireplace consists of two components: the frame and the electric fireplace. The following pages show step-by-step instructions of how the atmospheric fireplace should be mounted. 11

Steps 1 and 2. Slide the frame from the rear around the electric fireplace. Two metal plates have been pre-assembled on either side of the inset fire. Slide the frame completely over these metal plates. The hooks at the end of the plates ensure that the frame remains in the correct position. If the hooks remain stuck under the frame, you should gently guide them behind the frame. Step 3. Next, mount the fireplace on the wall using the screws and plugs supplied. The screws should be spaced 36-cm centre to centre and fastened to the wall. Always place the fireplace level and parallel with the rear wall. When the screws have been attached to the wall, you can hang up your fireplace. 12

Use Place the plug in the power supply. Turn the fireplace on using the switch on the cord. The fire will light up immediately. Use the remote control (supplied) to operate the fire. If the electric fireplace is not used for a longer period, we recommend that you remove it from the power supply by switching off the switch and removing the plug from the socket. The remote control has two settings. Button A turns the electric fire on and off. With button B, you can choose three different settings for the flame effect. Caution Do not use this electric fire if the device itself or the mains lead appears damaged. This electric fire may not be used in a damp environment (for example, in a bathroom). This fireplace has a ventilator on the bottom side. Make sure that nothing hinders the air flow. This fireplace is only intended for use indoors. Never connect the fireplace to a timer switch or similar device that switches the fireplace on automatically. In case of a defect, remove the plug from the power supply immediately. Do not place (flammable) objects on top of the electric fireplace. Do not turn on the fireplace until it has been completely installed. 13

Upkeep Caution! Always make sure that the electric fireplace has been removed from the power supply before doing any cleaning or maintenance. Cleaning We recommend using a damp cloth to clean the fireplace. Never use aggressive cleaning agents to prevent corrosion on the top layer. Also, never use excessive water. This is an electrical device and is not completely waterproof. If you have chosen the Portland fireplace with a stainless steel frame, after using you should always rub the surface with a dry cloth. For hard-to-remove spots, you may use a special stainless steel cleansing agent. Replacing light bulbs First remove the electric fire from the power supply! The bulbs have limited lives and have to be replaced over time. Ask your retailer about re-ordering light bulbs. Follow the instructions below when changing a light bulb. Remove the electric fire from the frame Unscrew the four screws on the sides of the electric fire and remove the screen from the front of the fireplace. You can then change the light bulb. After replacing the bulb, replace and mount the screen by means of the four screws on the sides. Parts Ask your retailer about the possibilities of ordering parts. Warranty Your electric fireplace carries a 24-month warranty. If your device should fail to operate within this period, please contact the retailer where you purchased it.
