Groeiende Index van Informatiesysteemontwikkelmethoden Drs. A.J. van Reeken Toelichting Gedurende met name de laatste decade zijn de informatiesysteemontwikkelmethoden als paddestoelen uit de grond geschoten. Hoewel niet alle methoden even wijd verbreid zijn, worden, met name door de mobiliteit van de ontwerpers, organisatieadviesbureaus en systeemhuizen geconfronteerd met medewerkers die ieder hun "eigen" methode inbrachten. Sommige van deze bureaus en systeemhuizen hebben daarom weer een eigen (nieuwe) methode samengesteld als in-huis-standaard. Ook hardware leveranciers hebben er belang bij over een eigen ontwikkelmethode te beschikken. Als nevenactiviteit ben ik enige tijd geleden begonnen aantekening te houden van de methoden waarvan ik kennis nam. Het blijkt dat ook anderen met deze aantekeningen hun voordeel kunnen doen. Om die reden heb ik het hierna volgende overzicht gepubliceerd. In het overzicht wordt gegeven: - hoe de methode wordt aangeduid. Dat is meestal met een acroniem; - de betekenis van die aanduiding. Dat is meestal een korte omschrijving waaruit het acroniem is samengesteld; - de oorsprong van de methode en~of de instantie die als agent optreedt en waarbij dan ook meestal cursussen gevolgd kunnen worden. Wanneer de aanduiding van een methode voorzien i s van een ~, gaat het om een methode die meer gericht i s op de beheersing van het ontwikkelproces, en minder op de inhoudelijke ondersteuning van dat proces. Zoals duidelijk zal zijn is deze lijst (nog) niet volledig. Voor aanvullingen houd ik mij dan ook gaarne aanbevolen. Tilburg, juni 1986
