4 GOEDE DOELEN RAPPORT 2013 GOEDE DOELEN RAPPORT 2013 5 VOORWOORD - - VFI BRANCHEORGANISATIE VAN GOEDE DOELEN Wat zijn de actuele ontwikkelingen? - De ruim 120 organisaties die aangesloten zijn bij VFI, zijn op allerlei terreinen actief. Van gezondheid tot internationale hulp. Van cultuur tot dierenbelangen. Samen zijn zij verantwoordelijk voor ruim tweederde van de bestedingen voor goede doelen door Nederlandse organisaties. Belangenbehartiging, zelfregulering en dienstverlening aan haar leden: dat zijn de belangrijkste taken van VFI. VFI zet zich in voor de ontwikkeling van maatschappelijk draagvlak en publieksvertrouwen en is, verenigd in de stichting Samenwerkende Brancheorganisaties Filantropie (SBF) met onder andere de partnerorganisaties voor de kerken en vermogensfondsen, een actieve gesprekspartner van de overheid. 32 GOEDE DOELEN RAPPORT 2013 GOEDE DOELEN RAPPORT 2013 33 WereldOuders Gala voor kinderen - Nederlandse Cystic Fibrosis Stichting Groter bereik via sociale media De Nederlandse Cystic Fibrosis Stichting is sinds 2010 actief op de sociale media. Via deze communicatie heeft de NCFS een steeds groter wordend bereik. Een voorbeeld hiervan is de verkoop van polsbandjes met de tekst Cure Cystic Fibrosis. Met deze polsbandjes vraagt men aandacht voor CF. Ze kosten twee euro per stuk, waarvan ruim 1,50 euro naar CF-onderzoek gaat. De polsbandjes zijn een hit, onder andere door de aandacht op Facebook via een bericht. Het bericht werd meer dan 100 keer gedeeld en ongeveer 85 keer geliket. Hiermee zijn bijna 8.000 mensen bereikt, meer dan de NCFS met de andere media zoals de nieuwsbrief of het kwartaalblad bereikt.
