Key words are: saving electricity, saving water, preventing and recycling waste. The actions were : 1. A typical day First they had to make a schedule containing all the actions of a typical Belgian pupil during one typical school day from 6 am till 10pm. Then they had to think about all the energy and water that is consumed during that process. Also the amount of waste that was during that typical day was taken into consideration. 1

Behaviour in school Then our pupils had to think about ways to save energy, water and ways to prevent or reduce waste. The pupils had to make a list of 100 tips and tricks to live in a sustainable way 3. Creating a logo and a slogan for our environmental school campaign. Pupils were divided into small action groups. They created their own group name, logo and slogan. The best one was elected by the whole group. The logo and name of the group The Green Smiles got the best comments so their logo was elected.
