1 PRELIMINARY-July 2011 J355 HA-M30-P1 Security bollard J355HA-M30-P1 is de nieuwe FAAC automatische verkeerspaal ontworpen voor toepassing van beveiliging van perimeter. De verkeerspaal is succesvol gecertifieerd volgens de ASTM F Standard Test Method for Vehicle Crash Testing of Perimeter Barriers, voor weerstandsklasse M30 met de hoogste penetratiegraad P1. - Deze weerstandsklasse M30 is gedefinieerd als energie-absorptie van joules ofwel een truck van 6800Kg met een snelheid van 50 Kmuur (30Mph). - M30 wordt opgedeeld in 4 penetratieklasses (P1, P2, P3, P4) die bepaald wordt als de maximum afstand voorbij de paal na botsing van het voertuig aan de vereiste snelheid. De J355HA biedt de beste penetratiegraad P1 waarbij het voertuig binnen 1m gestopt wordt. Hij onderscheidt zich van standaard verkeerspalen door deze extreme hoge weerstandsklasse. J355 HA-M30-P1 is de oplossing op de stijgende beveiligingsvraag van perimeterbeveiliging. De verkeerspaal kan gebruikt worden in tal van applicaties, zoals bescherming van waardevolle zaken (bvb stelen van luxewagens) en om toegang te geven tot gevoelige gebieden zoals: Ambassades Consulaten Overheidsgebouwen Banken etc. De eventuele impact op de bollard J355HA-M30-P1 kan 2 soorten deformatie produceren: - een elastische deformatie, waarbij de voertuigimpact het normaal functioneren niet beïnvloed of - een permanente deformatie die een gedeeltelijke of complete stopzetting van het normal functioneren veroorzaakt. Beschikbare versies J355HA-M30 painted steel - stalen cylinder, dikte 16mm met cataforese-behandeling en gelakt - gepoederlakt in donkergrijze, gemetalliseerde kleur RAL LED lamp bovenaan, zichtbaar vanuit alle richtingen - aandrijving met ingebouwde hydraulische unit - Uitgeschoven stand gegarandeerd, zelfs in geval van stroomverlies, door de hydraulische blokkering Inbouwhuizing JP355 De inbouwhuizing is gemaakt van aluzinc staal, dikte 2mm en een te lassen frame. Het hoofdframe bestaat uit rekbaar, gevormd ijzer GS400, met cataforese-behandeling. De inbouwhuizing is voorzien met een uitgang voor afwatering aan de zijkant en een ingang voor de kabels aan de bovenzijde. In speciale gevallen, kan deze uitgang afgesloten worden om infiltratie van grondwater te voorkomen (havengebieden, nabijheid rivieren, etc..).

2 De bijzondere regeling met bewapeningsstaal die niet dichtbij de oppervlakte liggen (tot 15cm onder het vloerniveau), laten toe om de installatie te voltooien met verschillende types bestrating (asfalt, porfier, stenen, etc ) volgens de architecturale wensen. Het bewapeningsstaal (standaard stalen bars en ijzergaas voor constructiewerk; niet geleverd), bieden de verkeerspaal en inbouwhuizing de compliance voor het bereiken van de ASTM standards, classe M30-P1. 3 See Table 1: The FAAC J355HA succesfully passed the test according the American standard ASTM ( Standard Test Method for Vehicle Crash Testing of Perimeter Barriers ) resistance designation class M30, that is the new class designation for security perimetral protection that has been formerly named K4 (not valid anymore). In terms of crash resistance the class M30 means the bollard is able to resist to a vehicle impact with an energy equal to J without being damaged, the test has been carried out using a truck, 6800kg weight, speed at 30 Mph (50 kmh). See Table 2: To complete the technical information about the test, according to the ASTM American Standard, the class designation M30 is divided into 4 different Penetration Rate named P (P1,P2,P3,P4), this rate is determined by the measure of the amount of vehicle penetration beyond the test bollard at the required impact velocity. The FAAC bollard J355HA M30 has got the penetration rate P1 which is the best one out of four (less or equal than 1 meter). To make a comparison with the old standard DOS rate K4, this P1 correspond to the old L3 penetration rate for K4 bollard : in other word our bollard is M30 P1 that is to say comparable to the old K4 L3.
