36 Challenges for reading RFID tags with overhead readers

37 Advantages overhead readers compared with Real time stock NOSBOS reporting. We know real time when an article is no longer available in the store. We can use real time stock for stock availability on G-Star.com (reduce no sales). Reserve stock in the system at the moment an online order is (hard) allocated. Data insights handheld only solution View on movement of articles e.g. from fitting room to POS or back to shelf. Percentage of your stock that is in the stockroom / shopping floor Financial stock Defects and staff clothes can be excluded from inventory trough POS integration and improve store replenishment without losing visibility.

38 Points of attention Do you want to achieve 99+% in one day or within seven days. Can the system be visible or should it be hidden behind the sealing. Take into consideration that the installation costs can be high with certain solutions. Vendors release each year new models of readers for lower prices. Have a clear business case on what you want to achieve. Review the advantages of a RFID POS integration. Make sure that internal stakeholder are involved to avoid delays in the roll out phase. Set clear goals before the start of your pilot together with your system integrator Chose a system integrator that is a fit with your business culture.
