1 Handleiding Zuludesk Parent Handleiding Zuludesk Parent Met Zuludesk Parent kunt u buiten schooltijden de ipad van uw kind beheren. Hieronder vind u een korte handleiding met de mogelijkheden. Gebruik van de Zuludesk Parent (ZP) U kunt ZP op twee manieren gebruiken: via de ios-app of via de browser. ios App: Op uw iphone of ipad kunt u de Zuludesk Parent app in de appstore vinden. Browser: Login op uw device of in de browser: Kies de school (Fons Vitae Lyceum), voer uw adres in en gebruik het wachtwoord dat uw heeft ontvangen. Let op! Controleer bij het toepassen van een restricties of de ipad ook daadwerkelijk geblokkeerd wordt. Als de tijd of datum van de ipad niet juist zijn ingesteld, reageert de ipad niet op commando s van Zuludesk Parent. Ook als de WiFi is uitgeschakeld of de Vliegtuigmodes actief is, zal de ipad niet reageren op commando s van Zuludesk Parent. Handleiding Zuludesk Parent Versie 1.0

2 Handleiding Zuludesk Parent Overzicht Na inloggen zie je onderstaand scherm: Aan de linkerkant ziet u uw eigen account en uw kind of een lijst met uw kinderen. Ook kun u hier locaties beheren. Locaties: Hier kunt u locaties toevoegen die gebruikt worden voor Recepten. U kunt ook een bericht ontvangen als uw kind aankomt of vertrekt bij een locatie. Handleiding Zuludesk Parent Versie 1.0

4 Handleiding Zuludesk Parent Restricties: - Realtime Restricties U kunt bepaalde functionaliteit direct uitzetten door de schuifjes uit te zetten. - App Blocker De App Blocker blokkeert bepaalde categorieën apps, gebaseerd op de categorieën gegeven door itunes/app Store. U heeft de keuze uit Social Networking, Games en Entertainment - Applock: Met AppLock kunt u de ipad voor een bepaalde tijd in één bepaalde app locken. Handleiding Zuludesk Parent Versie 1.0

5 Handleiding Zuludesk Parent Recepten: Stap 1 - Locatie: Bij het maken van een recept is het eerste dat u moet doen, de locatie selecteren waarvan u wilt dat het recept actief is. Stap 2 - Vooraf gedefinieerd of aangepast: In deze stap configureert u uw beperkingen, of het een vooraf gedefinieerde gebeurtenis is (bijvoorbeeld: spellen beperken) of een aangepaste gebeurtenis: Opmerking: we maken een aangepaste gebeurtenis in deze handleiding. Stap 3 - Definieer datum en tijd: In stap 3 selecteert u op welke dagen en tijden dit recept actief moet zijn. Stap 4 - Bevestiging: Stap 4 gaat over wat u in uw recept hebt geselecteerd en geeft u de mogelijkheid om het recept een naam te geven. Receptdetails: Wanneer u een recept selecteert, kunt u de details bekijken. Hier kunt u ook beperkingen op het apparaat toepassen en de opties wijzigen die u in stap 1-3 hebt ingesteld. 7 Manual Zuludesk Parent Manual Zuludesk Parent With Zuludesk Parent (ZP) you can control the device of your child. In this manual you will find an overview how to word with ZP. Browser or App You can use ZP both within a normal webbrowser on any PC or device, or install the app on your ios device. ios App: You can find the Zuludesk Parent app in the appstore. Browser: To login, both on the app an browser: Choose the school (Fons Vitae Lyceum) and use your mailadress and the password that you received. Pay attention! When applying a restriction, check whether the ipad is actually blocked. If the time or date of the ipad is not set correctly, the ipad will not respond to commands from Zuludesk Parent. Even so, if the WiFi is switched off or the Airplane mode is active, the ipad will not respond to commands from Zuludesk Parent. Manual Zuludesk Parent Versie 1.0

8 Manual Zuludesk Parent Overview of the app When you first log in you're greeted with the following: On the left side of the screen you can see your own parent account and an overview of your children, you can also manage locations here. Locations: Here you can add locations which are used to easily define Recipes based on the current location. You'll receive a notification once your child enters or leaves the location. 9 Manual Zuludesk Parent Child Details: In the child overview you can easily do a few things: Device Name (Name given by ZMS) Current battery charge Current storage usage Device model ios version Serial number You can also see the last known location in this overview. 10 Manual Zuludesk Parent Restrictions: - Realtime Restrictions You can apply realtime restriction to your child's device: Note: The Apps have to be checked off in order to be blocked. 11 Manual Zuludesk Parent Recipes: Step 1 - Location: When creating a recipe the first thing that you'll have to do is select the location you want the recipe to be active: Step 2 - Pre-Defined or Custom: In this step you will configure your restrictions, wether it will be a pre-defined event (For example: Restricting games) or a custom event: Note: We'll be creating a custom event in this guide. Step 3 - Define Date and Time: In step 3 you'll be selecting what days and times this recipe should be active: Step 4 - Confirmation: Step 4 goes over what you've selected in your recipe and gives you the option to name the recipe.
