In de jaren die daarop volgden kocht hij huizen in Mechelen, St.-Niklaas en Brugge naast twee filialen in Brussel en Luik. Net op tijd voor de wereldexpo in Brussel vestigde hij in 1910 een sen- sationeel grootwarenhuis met meer dan werknemers! Intussen dragen 15 vestigingen in 12 steden het Galeria INNO logo in hun naam. De heropening van de Galeria INNO in de Nieuwstraat in Brussel afgelopen herfst was ook sensationeel. Het herontwerpen van het paradepaardje Galeria INNO zorgde voor een nieuwe koers in de Belgische hoofdstad, zowel intern als extern, in het winkellandschap evenals in het stadsgezicht. Betonnen gevels werden opengebroken en doorzichtig gemaakt door het gebruik van glas. Ultramoderne etalageuitstallingen trekken al van ver de aandacht van wandelaars en versterken de hartslag en het ritme van de mensenstroom. Het is nochtans niet gemakkelijk om succesvol te zijn. 15 Transportation Het systeem van openbaar vervoer in Keulen profiteert van een investering van 630 miljoen euro Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe (KVB) Misschien wel het meest integrale onderdeel van de infrastructuur in Keulen is het transportsysteem van de stad, Koelner Verkehrs-Betriebe (KVB). Met 300 bussen, 360 treinen en 190 kilometer sporen zorgt KVB ervoor dat Keulen mobiel blijft. Momenteel verwerkt het transportsysteem meer dan 240 miljoen ritten per jaar. In een stad van om en bij een miljoen mensen is dit een indrukwekkend aantal en het vormt een bewijs van het respect en vertrouwen dat KVB van de lokale bevolking afdwingt. De belangrijkheid van KVB in Keulen reikt nochtans verder dan de 240 ritten die het ieder Walter Reinarz directeur jaar voor de gemiddelde Keulenaar voorziet.
