1 Page 1 of 6 Universiteit Leiden Faculteit der Archeologie Organisatie Bestuur en Organisatie Jaarv Bestuursmededelingen & Nieuws: 9 maart 2012 Mededelingen (Nederlands & Engels) van het faculteitsbestuur en laatste nieuwsfeiten Faculteit der Archeologie: inhoud wordt na publicatie als bekend verondersteld bij alle medewerkers van de Faculteit der Archeologie. Nieuwe stichting voor organisatie Reuvensdagen Februari 2012 is de Stichting Reuvens officieel opgericht. De belangrijkste taak van de stichting is de organisatie van de Reuvensdagen. Dit landelijke archeologie congres werd tot vorig jaar georganiseerd door Erfgoed Nederland. Nu Ergoed Nederland niet meer bestaat, neemt de Stichting Reuvens de organisatie van de Reuvensdagen over. Het stichtingsbestuur bestaat uit vertegenwoordigers van verschillend archeologische organisaties. Het voorzitterschap wordt gedeeld door Masja Parlevliet (namens het Convent van Gemeentelijk Archeologen) en Tom Hazenberg (namens de Vereniging van Ondernemers in de Archeologie). De overige bestuursleden zijn Suzanne van der A (Nederlandse Vereniging van Archeologen), Marjolein van den Dries (Stichting Archeologie en Publiek), Henk van der Velde (Nederlandse Vereniging Van Opgravingsbedrijven) en Wim Weijland (Stichting Rijksmuseum van Oudheden). Het bestuur wordt ondersteund door Caroline Leeflang. De Reuvensdagen worden dit jaar voor de 42e keer georganiseerd. 3 Page 3 of 6 ASLU 25: Eva Mol (2012) The 25th ASLU volume Hidden Complexities of the Frankish Castle (Eva Mol) concerns the reconstruction of a social history of life in crusader castles in the Holy Land in the period of the Frankish occupation from 1099 to 1291 A.D. Although crusader castles are not the most neglected subjects of this relatively new branch in archaeology, they have been largely bypassed by debates on origin, function, symbolism, and social aspects. De ruimte kan door medewerkers en studenten gebruikt worden voor meditatie of gebed. Uiteraard staat de deur altijd open.

4 Page 4 of 6 Gratis whiteboardstiften Het blijkt dat veel docenten geen gebruik maakt van whiteboardstiften op de whiteboards. Hierdoor beschadigen de borden en deze moeten dan worden vervangen: Bij de servicedesk in het Lipsius kunnen docenten gratis whiteboardstiften ophalen. Louwe Kooijmanslezing 2012 Het Rijksmuseum van Oudheden en de Faculteit der Archeologie van de Universiteit Leiden nodigen u uit tot het bijwonen van de jaarlijkse Louwe Kooijmanslezing op 28 maart De vierde Louwe Kooijmanslezing wordt gegeven door: Prof. Dr. Harald Meller, Direktor en Landesarchäologe Dienst voor erfgoedbeheer en archeologie in Sachsen- Anhalt en Landesmuseum voor Prehistorie in Halle. Provinciën Lezing: 30 maart Gelderland Vrijdagmiddag 30 maart vindt alweer de tweede lezingenmiddag van De 12 Provinciën Lezingen van Hazenberg Archeologie en het Rijksmuseum van Oudheden plaats. Het thema van 30 maart is Gelderland, wat aansluit bij dee tentoonstelling uur archeologie. Verzamelen op de Veluwe die tot 18 november in het museum te bezichtigen is. De tentoonstelling gaat over de bijzondere archeologische collectie van amateurarcheoloog en verzamelaar Eduard Zuurdeeg vormt samen met zijn uitgebreide documentatie en zelfgemaakte maquettes een uniek document voor de historie van Ede en de Veluwe.' De 12 Provinciën Lezingen' is een lezingenreeks over Nederlandse

The workshop is a collaboration between the research group on cartography and GIS (Ghent University) and the Centre de Recherche en Sciences et Techniques de l'information et de Communication (University of Reims).
