19 THE GERMAN GOVERNMENT S RAW MATERIALS STRATEGY GERMAN RESOURCE EFFICIENCY PROGRAMME II PROGRAMME FOR THE SUSTAINABLE USE AND CONSERVATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES Natural resources are defined as all components of nature: biotic and abiotic resources, physical space (such as land), environmental media (water, soil and air), flow resources (such as geothermal, wind, tide and solar energy), and the diversity of all living organisms. As early as 2002, it set a target in the National Sustainable Development Strategy of doubling Germany s raw material productivity by 2020 relative to The German Resource Efficiency Programme (ProgRess) of 2012 was directed towards achieving this target.

22 ROADMAP TOWARDS THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN SLOVENIA The Roadmap towards the Circular Economy in Slovenia sets the path for Slovenia to become a circular economy front runner in the region. Designed through an inclusive, multi-stakeholder approach, it identifies four priority sectors, give recommendations to the government and identifies best practices. The Roadmap introduces the Circular Triangle, a model which unites three inseparable elements Circular Economy (business models) Circular Change (government policies) Circular Culture (citizens)

23 MAKING THINGS LAST A CIRCULAR ECONOMY STRATEGY FOR SCOTLAND This strategy sets out our priorities for moving towards a more circular economy It builds on Scotland's progress in the zero waste and resource efficiency agendas. A more circular economy will benefit: the environment the economy communities Realising these benefits will mean rethinking our approach to how goods are supplied, how they are used, and what happens at the end of products' lifetimes. In this strategy, we are prioritising four areas Food and drink, and the broader bio-economy Remanufacture Construction and the built environment Energy infrastructure

Iid Visegrad-groep met POL SLK, TSJ meeste energie lijkt bij link met TA agrofood/biomassa wil eigen circulaire hotspot opzetten, rol HCH hierbij Roemenië EU-voorzitter in 1e helft 2019 (daarna potentiële groeimarkt voor CE. Finland). Politieke instabiliteit: veel Roemenië wil het "China van regeringswissels, corruptie en groot Europa" worden (nearshoring). verloop binnen overheid. Kansen vooral in Nmlse bedirjven wel private sector. Ministerie EU fondsen terughoudend vanwege zoekt goede projecten, veel geld blijft nu bestuurlijke instabiliteit op de plank liggen TA agrofood, TA maakindustrie zoekt naar CE-kansen wil graag samenwerking met wil eigen circulaire hotspot voor Roemenië. Men NL, actieve ambassade die ook opzetten kijkt vooral naar afval, regionale functie wil vervullen, maar potentie ligt ook dubbel met Bulgarije. Inzet op bij andere sectoren circulaire landbouw (landbouw, maakindustrie) ambassade wil graag inzet op CE Kroatië kansen G2G, actieve rol ambassade, samenwerking Bulgarije Roemenie (Albanië, Kosovo), Macedonië actieve ambassade in Macedonie, werkt samen met ministerie Nationale Ombudsman aldaar
