Download KDS with Manager E Make sure that all necessary stations (UP0, analogue, Dect) are connected to system when this KDS is used for license migration later on! Collect IP data from KDS (LIM) or HG1500 manually: Do a backup of HG1500 data, so some configurations can also be looked-up in Web-Based Simulation tool (WST) after migration Collect from LIM/HG1500: IP, Routing, DNS server Collect from customer, because password cannot be exported from configuration in readable format: ITSP, ISP (WAN), DynDNS 8

Steps before migration Check and correct KDS in following voicemail related settings: SmartVM / EVM ports COS is always changed to outward-restricted for security reasons reconfigure if needed (AA, callback to sender) Hunt group 1 should be reserved for IVM: Reconfigure group to other KDS position if used in H3k KDS Hunt group 2 should be reserved for SmartVM: Reconfigure group to other KDS position if used in H3k KDS Configure hunt group 2 to cyclic hunt group Configure all voicemail ports (station 501 506) to hunt group 2 10
Migration restrictions Check if CSTA/TAPI applications are connected to HiPath 3000. UC Booster card will be needed in OSBiz after migration! Step 2 OSBiz Tapi120/170 licenses needs to be used. No migration of existing Tapi licenses possible. Applications connected via V.24 will not work after migration Optiset UP0/E phones are not supported with OSBiz myportal Entry WebServices (Sheeva Plug) are not supported with OSBiz HiPath H3300, H3500 rack variant: a splitter cable is needed for analog ports on OCCMR after migration, analog phones should not be directly connected to OCCMR 11

Migration restrictions Peripheral cards and extension boards (migration_cards.xls list not finally released): Current cards supported in H3k V9 are fully supported in OSBiz Some cards are not supported/needed anymore (e.g. HG1500 or STMI, CMS). Manager E will show message during conversion if card has to be removed. Cards that are not in the above mentioned list are not supported in OSBiz. Some legacy cards are supported without sustaining : This means they should work, but related errors will not be corrected anymore. Cards have to be replaced by successor card if problems occur. 13
Migration restrictions OpenScape Contact Center (Agile Enterprise) without HiPath 5000 RSM. Need for Interface UC Booster Card or Server for OSBiz. OSBiz does not use the H.323 Radvision Stack. There is new software for HFA410/420 All OpenStage phones need new software. OpenStage WL2 need new software only SIP HiPath 4000 IP interworking with SIPQ only, without DMC. 14
Migration process Collect Customer data Convert KDS to Osbiz Power off HiPath 3000 Remove not supported/needed cards from system (e.g.: ControlBoard, HG1500, STMI2) First installation steps: Remove protective film from battery on OCCM/OCCL Attach/Check grounding to housing (mandatory!) Mount reused extension cards on OCCM/OCCL (e.g. CMA, EXM ) Mount UC Booster card (OCAB) if needed (STEP2) In case of UC Booster card a new housing with extra fans is needed. Swap control board to OCCM/OCCL 15
Migration process Power on the new OSBiz system Wait until green LED is blinking on OCCM/L after (every) restart WBM is reachable via https://192.168.1.2/ (administrator/ administrator) Change Administrator password Set date and time Run wizard: "Setup-> Basic Installation-> Initial Installation" and adapt settings like: IP address DHCP System Country Code -> restart 16
Migration process Login with Manager E Security Change Password: 31994/31994 31994 Upload converted KDS with hardware flag into OSBiz A restart will be performed Login to WBM and adapt the remaining, initially retrieved "IP data" Check LCR in networking environment. LCR is handled as in OSO V3! Configure dial plans for dialable number format where necessary (national, international). Use WBM for networking LCR, as there are additional parameters in routing table available (dedicated gateway). 17
Migration process Use Internet Telephony (ITSP) wizard to activate ITSP again: Check LCR after running ITSP wizard. Some of the previously used LCR dial plans may be changed inappropriately (affects 1st 15 dial plans) When Xpressions Compact (IVM) DLI was used before: DLI should be deactivated there If OSBiz is not DHCP server: adapt DLS-IP in customer DHCP server to OSBiz IP adress If IP phones are configured manually: Adapt DLS-IP in IP phones manually to OSBiz IP adress When CSTA application was used before: CSTA is provided by UC Booster card (OCAB) CSTA access needs to be enabled in middleware with username/password 18
Migration process When myportal Entry Web Services were used before: Uninstall SheevaPlug uninstall myportal entry client When VPN was used before: Run VPN wizard and create new VPN topology. Start Licensing Upgrade procedure. Be aware, that Licensing conversion from H3k V9 to OSBiz can be done only once per system! Check functionality! 19
Alternative migration There is an alternative method as also used in HiPath 3000 by many Experts instead of KDS conversion: Manager E conversion can be used for card check and port migration (e.g. EVM) Setup OSBiz from scratch (-> First installation) Copy mass data (station, speed dials ) with Manager E after migration from H3k V9 KDS to factory defaulted KDS of OSBiz Pro: Legacy, possibly hidden and error prone settings in KDS with long lasting history will be dropped with this migration procedure. Contra: There may be some additional work to do, depending of customer expectations (e.g. having same key layout on phones, DECT ). 20
