Binnen- en buitenmantel zijn gemaakt uit Fluorpolymeer. Hierdoor zijn deze verwarmingskabels bijzonder goed geschikt voor toepassingen in de chemische nijverheid, en chemisch agressieve omgevingen. Eenaderige kunststof verwarmingskabels zijn in verschillende uitvoeringen beschikbaar. Mineraal Geïsoleerde Verwarmingskabels (MI) Worden in het bijzonder voor hoge temperatuurstoepassingen gebruikt tot 800 C. Bovendien vormen ze een goedkoop alternatief voor lange leidingen, daar waar corrosie niet aanwezig is, in vergelijk met éénaderige kunststof verwarmingskabels. Minerale verwarmingskabels zijn beschikbaar met buitenmantels uit koper, koper-nikkel en roestvrij staal in verschillende legeringen. 4 HEATING CABLE SERIES RESISTANCE CABLES are mainly 1-core heating cables with the following features: j defined resistance per metre j constant heating capacity covering the total temperature range j variable connection voltage up to 690 volt j resistances switched in series lend optimal supervision j simple construction of heating circuits for long pipelines with only one feeder j less cabling works j applicable in hazardous areas, also in ATEX-certified design j stabilised design according to EN 50019/IEC possible For use in: j chemistry, refineries, power stations etc. j hazardous areas SERIES RESISTANCE CABLES are mainly divided into two groups: 1-core Plastic Heating Cables can be used for operating temperatures up to max. 260 C. Conductor insulation and outer sheath are made of fluorpolymere. These heating cables are therefore particularly suitable for use in the chemical industry where aggressive environmental conditions are present. 1-core plastic heating cables are available in different types of construction according to requirements. Mineral-insulated Heating Cables (MI) are especially suitable for use in high temperatures up to 800 C. However they also present a low-cost alternative to long transfer lines in comparison to the 1-core plastic heating cables, as far as corrosion can be excluded. Mineral-insulated heating cables are available in different sheaths of copper, copper-nickel and of stainless steel in different qualities.

5 VERWARMINGSLINTEN Zelfregelende Verwarmingskabels zijn opgebouwd uit twee geleiders (fase/nul) met daartussen een geleidend polymeer dat met hogere temperaturen minder geleidend wordt en daardoor zelfregelende eigenschappen heeft. De hoofdeigenschappen zijn: j temperatuursafhankelijk vermogen j voedingsspanning Volt j eenvoudig in gebruik j naar behoefte te gebruiken tot bepaalde max. lengte j toepasbaar in explosiegevaarlijke omgevingen j hebben eigen temperatuursclassificatie j gestabiliseerd design volgens EN 50019/IEC mogelijk Zelfregelende verwarmingslinten zijn zowel toepasbaar voor vorstbeveiliging als toepassingen voor behoudstemperatuur tot 150 C, en intermitterend tot 250 C. Constant-Vermogen-Verwarmingskabels bezitten geen temperatuursafhankelijke weerstandskern, en leveren daardoor een constant vermogen. AANSLUITCOMPONENTEN EN ACCESSOIRES: Voor alle zelfregelende en constant-vermogen verwarmingskabels zijn er gebruiksvriendelijke aansluitcomponenten en verscheidene bevestigingsmaterialen beschikbaar. 5 Self-limiting Heating Tapes have a heating element between their two connections which allows a flow of lower current at higher temperatures. The power output is therefore reduced in a self-limiting way. The main features are: j temperature-dependent power output j supply voltage volt j simple handling j nearly all lengths can be cut with certain limits j can be applied in hazardous areas j stabilised design accord to EN 50019/IEC possible Self-limiting heating tapes are suitable for frost protection as well as for maintaining process temperatures of up to 150 C, intermittent up to max. 250 C saturated steam. HEATING TAPES Parallel Heating Tapes In contrast to the self-limiting heating tapes they are not equipped with a temperature-dependent heating element. They therefore have a constant output of heating power. CONNECTION COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES For all heating cables and heating tapes there are easy to install connection components available with different fixing materials.

6 SPECIALE TOEPASSINGEN Naast de standaardaanwendingen van elektrische tracing op leidingen, tanks en filters, produceert Klöpper-Therm tevens een hele reeks van speciale verwarmingssystemen. Deze systemen zijn ontwikkeld naar de specifieke behoeften en wensen van de klant, en zijn leverbaar in explosieveilige uitvoering en hoogwaardige industriële kwaliteit. Deze speciale toepassingen zijn o.a.: j Verwarmen van reactors j Verwarming van tankwagens en containers j Verwarmingsmatten en panelen j Inwendige buisverwarming j Betonvloer en fundamentverwarming VERWARMEN VAN REACTORS Het verwarmen van reactors vereist een hoge vermogensdichtheid en hoge temperaturen tot 650 C. Naar behoefte en wensen van de klant wordt het design aangepast. Voor deze toepassingen worden tevens verwarmingsmatten gebruikt, dewelke snel en eenvoudig kunnen aangebracht worden. Voor toepassingen in explosiegevaarlijke omgevingen waarbij de bedrijfstemperatuur boven de temperatuursclassificatie uitkomt, kunnen wij tevens de noodwendige isolatie aanbieden. 6 VERWARMEN VAN TANKWAGENS EN CONTAINERS Voor het behoud van temperatuur van de tankwagen, leveren wij verwarmingsystemen aanwendbaar op de buitenmantel van de tank, en dit voor temperaturen tot 250 C. Tevens hebben wij vervoerbare verwarmingsystemen inclusief circulatiepomp voor opwarmen van een water/glycol oplossing tot behoudstemperaturen van 80 C. VERWARMINSMATTEN EN VERWARMINGSPANELEN Voor het verwarmen van tanks en containers, leveren wij een heel gamma van bedrijfsklare en aansluitbare verwarmingsmatten, dewelke eenvoudig en snel kunnen geplaatst worden door zelfklevend materiaal. Een ingebouwde thermostaat garandeert de thermische veiligheid. Deze flexibele verwarmingsmatten kunnen met verschillinde vermogensdichtheid geleverd worden. Daardoor kunnen tevens glasvezel en kunststof tanks getraced worden met deze techniek. INWENDIGE BUISVERWARMING De klassieke toepassing voor inwendige buisverwarming zijn ingegraven, ongeïsoleerde buizen of water gevulde buizen, waarin de verwarmingskabel ingetrokken wordt. Inwendige buisverwarming wordt heden, in toenemende mate, veelal toegepast in voorgefabriceerde geïsoleerde leidingsystemen. BETONVLOER EN FUNDAMENTVERWARMING Voor het vorstvrij houden van betonnen fundamenten van tanks voor vloeibaar gas, hebben wij een uitneembaar systeem ontwikkeld dat zich in de praktijk reeds ruimschoots bewezen heeft. Door ons design programma wordt het verwarmingsysteem steeds geoptimaliseerd.

7 SPECIAL HEATING SYSTEMS Klöpper-Therm manufactures a number of special heating systems apart from those used for standard applications like heating of pipelines, vessels and filters. They are designed specifically to meet the special purposes of the customer and can be delivered in an explosion-proof as well as in a high-quality industrial design. These special heating systems comprise: j heating for reactors j heating for tank trucks and containers j heating mats and heating panels j internal heating for pipes j heating for foundations HEATING FOR REACTORS Heating for reactors requires a high power density with temperatures up to 650 C. The design can be adapted to the specific requirements of the customer. There are pre-fabricated heating mats available for this purpose which can be installed easily and quickly. We can also provide thermal insulation for hazardous areas which can be adapted to give the necessary protection against explosion where operating temperatures exceed the permitted class of temperature. 7 HEATING FOR TANK TRUCKS AND CONTAINERS For maintaining temperatures permanently up to 250 C, we deliver the suitable heating system by heating the vessel surface with heating cables. There are also transportable electric heating facilities available including a circulation pump for heating up a mixture of water/glycol to maintain temperatures up to 80 C. HEATING MATS AND HEATING PANELS For heating systems for tanks and vessels we deliver ready to install, highly flexible heating mats which can be fixed easily and quickly with self-adhesive materials. An installed thermostat guarantees the thermal protection of the heating. The flexible heating mats can be manufactured with different power densities. Consequently, even tanks made of glass fibre and plastic can be heated by using this technique. INTERNAL HEATING FOR PIPES The classic use of internal heating for pipes are buried or submerged un-insulated pipelines where the heating cable is pulled into the pipeline. Internal heating for pipes is also used increasingly nowadays for pre-manufactured piping systems with insulation. HEATING FOR FOUNDATIONS For keeping the foundations of liquid gas tanks free from frost, we have developed an exchangeable heating system that has often proved to be worthwhile in practice. Our design programme helps to optimise the complete heating system.

PE UNIPLEX Regeleenheid Reeds vele jaren ontwikkeld Klöpper-Therm speciale elektronische regelaars voor controle en regeling van elektrische tracing systemen. Consequente optimalisatie en verdere ontwikkelingen hebben geleid tot de nieuwe CE-conform UNIPLEX regeleenheid. Hierbij bevinden zich de temperatuursregelaar, de temperatuursbegrenzer (gescheiden limiter) en de stroomregelaar gezamenlijk op een plaatsbesparende elektronische kaart met Europa-formaat. Hierbij heeft de elektronische regelaar de mogelijkheid om een elektronische lastrelais aan te sturen, en biedt hierbij een gelijkmatige regeling van het verwarmingssysteem. Hierdoor wordt een te hoge temperatuur vermeden en verkrijgt men een vermindering van het energieverbruik. De geïntegreerde stroomregelaar maakt het tevens mogelijk om de gewenste laststroom in te stellen. In tegenstelling tot procentuele aanpassingen in conventionele systemen, is het volkomen overbodig om met dit systeem bijkomende aanpassingen van de laststroom te doen wanneer de kringlengte wordt aangepast bijvoorbeeld. Deze stroomregeling biedt volgende voordelen aan de gebruiker: j Verminderd het aantal verschillende weerstandstypes van de verwarmingskabels j Stroominstellingen voor verschillende behoudstemperaturen naar behoefte Tevens worden de temperatuur en stroom gecontroleerd op hun maximale en minimale waarden, waarbij bij stilstand en opstart de storingsmelding voor te lage temperatuur automatisch wordt onderdrukt voor een bepaalde tijd. - + ws/gn ws/or Uniplex II Bovendien kunnen alle data en paramaters voor nagenoeg 900 verwarmingskringen gevisualiseerd, gedocumenteerd, ingesteld, bewaard en bewerkt worden via de geïnstalleerde interface in the UNIPLEX module, in combinatie met het UNIWIN software dat hiervoor speciaal ontwikkeld werd. De UNIPLEX module kan tevens via interface direct via PLC aangestuurd worden. Schaltanlage 8 Rohrleitung UNIWIN Visualisering UNIWIN werkt op Windows NT, en functioneert volledig volgens de Windows standaard. De gegevens en systeemconfiguratie zijn paswoord beveiligd, en vrij configureerbaar. Alle instellingen en data van de verwarmingskringen zijn beschikbaar, evenals een chronologisch overzicht van alle meldingen (gearchiveerd) met verscheidene sorteer en selectie functies. Per verwarmingskring worden temperatuur en stroom in functie van de tijd in een grafiek weergegeven. Bovendien kunnen specifieke data en grafieken opgeslagen worden. Diagnose en problemen oplossen kunnen tevens van op afstand verwezenlijkt worden via interface (vb. connectie PC/DCS via internet, profibus). Het UNIPLEX/UNIWIN systeem is zo opgebouwd dat het voldoet aan alle veiligheidsvoorschriften. Zelfs in het geval dat de PC/DCS faalt, wordt de verwarmingskring volledig autonoom gestuurd door de UNIPLEX zonder enige beperking.

9 UNIPLEX Control Unit For many years, Klöpper-Therm has been developing special electronic regulators and supervision systems for controlling electrical heat tracing. Logical, consistent developments have resulted in the new CE-conform UNIPLEX control unit. UNIPLEX II The safety temperature limiter fulfills the requirements of EN 50019/IEC as well as the regulation 94/9/EC (ATEX) and is SIL 2-classified. The temperature regulator, safety temperature limiter and current controller are all contained in a compact plug-in card in European format. On the one hand this control unit provides the possibility of activating the electronic solid state relay and consequently provides the possibility of permanently controlling the heating. Temperature overshooting can therefore be avoided and a reduction in energy consumption can be achieved. On the other hand the integrated current controller makes it possible to adjust the load current as required. In contrast to the usual adjustments to percentage in conventional regulators, it is unnecessary to readjust the load current when changing the length of the heating cable. The current control offers the following advantages for the user: j Reduction of the number of heating cables/types of resistances used j Current adaptation to variable maintenance temperatures according to the demand Other features available include limit control for temperature and current also during standstill and a low temperature alarm repression during heating-up periods. Furthermore, all the data of nearly 900 heating circuits can be visualised, documented and parameterised through the RS 485-interface installed in the UNIPLEX control unit in conjunction with the UNIWIN software which has been developed for this purpose. The UNIPLEX can however also be activated directly via the Ethernet interface also available by DCS. 9 UNIWIN Visualisation UNIWIN works under the operating system 'Windows XP' and has a functional operating surface, adapted to the 'Windows' standard. The plant and system configuration is password-protected and individually configurable. All the important heating circuit and plant data are also available as well as a status overview and a chronological message archive with different sorting and selecting functions. Trend graphs illustrate the temperature courses and current of the heating circuits. Furthermore, heating-circuit specific data and graphs can be stored. Remote diagnosis and maintenance are also possible as is data access via normed interfaces to external applications (e.g. connection to DCS via Net-DDE and Profibus-DP). The UNIPLEX/UNWIN system has been constructed through the self-sufficient UNIPLEX to meet all safety requirements. Even in the event of PC/DCS failure, the heating circuit continues to be controlled and supervised by the UNIPLEX without restrictions.

De Mourik E&I technici installeren, testen en stellen het verwarmingsysteem en de benodigde sturingen in bedrijf. De kwaliteit van de Mourik E&I diensten zijn gegarandeerd door regelmatige trainingen en door gebruik van ons gecertificeerd integraal KAM-zorgsysteem welke voldoet aan de ISO 9001 en VCA. 11 SERVICE Heating systems not only need to be planned and manufactured carefully but also need to be installed professionally in order to run perfectly. Our trained and qualified assembly team provides this service for you. Our staff installs, tests and puts our heating systems and the corresponding control systems into operation. The quality of the work is guaranteed by regular training and by using our management system according to ISO 9001 and the SCC**-catalogue ( safety, health and environmental protection). We continuously maintain the heating systems and provide detailed technical documentation to round off our service package.
