No experience except clues in the laboratory Application needs to be proven totally

26 Could it be possible? yes: Anammox in natural environment: low temperature and low concentrations NH4; Anammox was found in the settling tanks behind the B-stage

27 Could it be possible? But: What will happen with COD & SS from A-stage and how can we separate the A- and B-stage? Can we keep the bacteria inside the system (granules, carrier, membrane)? What about fluctuations in condition (temperature, influent composition)? Can we form just NO 2 at this low temperature? How do we control the proces? (KRW) Research with Paques, RUN, TUD, WSHD (Funding request in 2009, research 2 years (summer 2010), pilot- and laboratory research)
