Eerstejaars- of ouderejaars student: iedereen is welkom op Oh Oh INTRO! Op vrijdag 5 september vanaf 15.00u tot 23.00u gaan we knallend het collegejaar in op het Lange Voorhout in Den Haag. In dit boekje vind je het programma, informatie over de artiesten, verenigingen die deelnemen en de plattegrond. Wij hebben er alles aan gedaan om de start van het collegejaar onvergetelijk te maken. WE LIKE TO INVITE YOU AT OH OH INTRO For some of us these might be the first days as a student, while it is known territory to others. Oh Oh INTRO is the festival for all students in The Hague. The 5th of September between and we will start off the college year with a bang at the Lange Voorhout. In the guide you find the artists, the programme and all the ins and outs of the festival. The festival has free entrance for students.

We re keeping it a secret for now, but we can tell you that this is a surprise performance that you should not miss! Make sure you re right on time around the Yellow stage and celebrate the end of the summer. Hendrick Moris is 20 years old and lives in Leiden. Since September last year you can find him every week behind the turning the tables in Amsterdam, the NINE. Deep Progressive house to house, he takes care of it all. You will feel his distinctive vibe feel during Oh Oh INTRO! Something completely different a cover band with mash ups and an energetic show. Don t stop moving. Let the party begin with some good old hits. This energetic duo came together two years ago with shared passion for house. Soon it became clear that their cooperation is a fruitful one. After numerous parties they gave their collaboration a name, project Avyro. SUPRISE #2 18:30 This surprising performance is sponsored by Anonymous Gentlemen. Make sure you re part of it. NICE & SMOOTH 19:20 Both of these Haagse DJs have been playingfor a number of years solo in The Hague area under the names Steve Verm and Kevin Orduna. Their goal is to give everyone the nice and smooth feeling. The only question is, who is Mr. Nice and who is Mr.Smooth? MANNEN MET SNORREN 21:45 Mannen Met Snorren is an Amsterdam-based electro rock band that combines dirty synthesizers and electronic beats with screaming guitars and catchy vocals into an eclectic experience that you cannot sit still to.

6 10 11 GREEN STAGE FAKE PLASTIC TREES 15:00 Energetic melodic indie-pop extremely well suited to be danced on. Tight grooves and strong hooks follow each other in rapid succession. Fake Plastic Trees combines the sometimes dreamy melodies and sweeping guitar sounds with subtle excursions to reggae, funk and dance. DAIM 15:35 Since the beginning of 2009 plays and produces Damian van Es under the name DAIM. His tracks are currently supported by various DJs like Don Diablo, Vato Gonzalez, and The Partysquad. Since October 2013 he organizes his own party Night Shift, which already sold out four editions!

7 12 13 YVET JODY FLYING RYAN TUNE ADDICTS ART INC 16:15 16:50 18:30 19:00 Yvet Jody is a singer-songwriter from Enschede, living in The Hague. After several rock bands, she decided to go solo with debut EP Paper, Clothes and Books result. Her unique style can be described as stripped pop punk on an acoustic guitar. Ryan Ilahi allias Flying Ryan, 21 years, is a DJ with a real passion for House Music. He also expects to release his first production this year. With his energetic appearance behind the decks, uplifting house sounds and sexy beats he knows to get the crowd swinging. Dylan Barkley and Lorenzo Zuppelli known as Tune Addicts are Dutch musicians, DJs and producers of Electronic dance music. Arthur Snippe (also known as Art Inc.) was born in a Dutch town called Gouda. Music has always been a big aspect in his life. Arthur found out he could make his own music by using a computer and some software. LUKEWARM OCEAN 17:30 Lukewarm Ocean is an alternative rock band from Leiden, The Hague and Rotterdam. With, inter alia Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Queens of the Stone Age and Red Hot Chili Peppers as influences. You will also hear elements of grunge, funk rock and psychedelic blues in their music. MIKAÉL 18:00 A DJ who really loves all styles of music. He is driven by music and he loves to entertain you. MARINUS 19:30 Merijn Caspers, aka Marinus, began deejaying when he was 13 years old. He now plays weekly on internet radio, many parties and clubs. His style is a combination of progressive and deep house. His strength lies in creating a powerful party atmosphere. BIBOSSA & DUBLANC 20:15 Two Young Guys with a mission they want to change the world with good music.

8 14 15 JOEY DALE 21:00 Starting producing house music at the age of 16 and shortly after releasing his first track at a small label, Joey instantly knew this was his passion. Supported by his friends and family in the beginning days, Joey s productions slowly drew the attention of the bigger DJ s in the scene. After his first experience with deejaying, he only had one dream: playing his own music all over the world. ALVARO 22:00 Alvaro, also known as Jasper Helderman has been in the housescene for more than 4 years now. He has produced hits like Welcome To The Jungle, NaNaNa, United, World In Our Hands, Make the crowd GO and many more. It is a spot where everyone is welcome, from extremely young to very old. In the past 6 years PIP has developed into a place that is unmissable in the cultural party circuit. It is a place where young talent can explore the boundaries of their abilities as well a place where internationally acclaimed artists find their home. The program is super broad and consists of a.o. artshows, electronic music, rock, dance, theatre and business presentations. F.A.S.T. F.A.S.T. (Free Architecture Surf Terrain) is een uniek surfdorp aan de boulevard van Scheveningen. Een beach-hostel, kampeer- en camperplaatsen, een bar, een restaurant, kunstprojecten, een surfwinkel, surflessen, boardopslag, unieke vergaderruimtes, Museum Scheveningen, vette feesten.. F.A.S.T. heeft het allemaal! F.A.S.T. (Free Architecture Surf Terrain) is a unique surf village on the boulevard of Scheveningen. 11 20 21 STUDIE-/STUDENTENVERENIGINGEN STUDY-/STUDENTASSOCIATIONS Den Haag is een leuke studentenstad. Er zijn verschillende studie- en studentenverenigingen te vinden. Een aantal verenigingen zullen aanwezig zijn op de Oh Oh INTRO en de mogelijkheid bieden om kennis te maken met het verenigingsleven. The Hague is becoming a student city more and more. You can find several study-/student associations in the city. Most of the associations will be present at the Oh Oh INTRO and offer you the opportunity to learn about the student life.

12 23 ALGEMENE INFO HUISREGELS Legitimatieplicht met identiteitsbewijs Onder de 18 jaar geen alcohol verkoop Geen eigen eten en drinken toegestaan Geen glas, blik, karton en plasticflessen op het festivalterrein Drugs bezit en gebruik is verboden Gevaarlijke / scherpe voorwerpen en wapens verboden Huisdieren zijn verboden De bezoekers kunnen aan de ingang worden gefouilleerd. De toegang kan worden geweigerd wanneer je hieraan weigert mee te werken. Niet zitten en/of staan in de groenstroken Roken binnen in de tenten is verboden Volg ten alle tijdens de instructies van de organisatie en beveiliging op Bij het direct waarnemen van strafbare feiten wordt het strafbare feit na overleg met de coördinator en beveiliging, gemeld bij de politie Let op je maten, drink met mate! GENERAL INFO HOUSERULES You need to be able to identify yourself with an ID card. No own food and drinks are allowed. No glasses or bottles allowed on the festival grounds. The possession and use of drugs is strictly forbidden Under 18-years? Sorry, but we can t sell you any alcohol, it s the law. For this reason, we might have to check your ID to make sure everything is in order. Don t sit or stand at the grass Dangerous/sharp objects and weapons are strictly forbidden. Pets are not allowed on the terrain, since this is definitely not their kind of a party. For security reasons, visitors might be subject to a frisk at the entrance. In case someone refuses to be frisked, they might be denied to enter. Smoking inside a facility on the terrain is strictly forbidden. Mind your sip, drink responsibly! FOOD CORNERS Hapje eten? Genoeg keuze in de food corners. Eet een patatje oorlog of kies iets gezonds. Een biertje kan je voor een studentenprijsje halen bij de bar. MAAR BOVENAL, GENIET VAN HET FESTIVAL! FOOD CORNERS Hungry for more? Plenty of choice at the food corners! You can grab some fries, go for a healthier option or have an ice cold beer or soft drink (for student prices of course!). 13 24 BEREIKBAARHEID Het festival vindt buiten plaats op het Lange Voorhout, in het centrum van Den Haag vlakbij het Binnenhof. Boot Vanaf De Haagse Hogeschool (aan de achterkant bij het platform van roeivereniging Pelargos) varen pendelboten (1 boot van 30 personen & 1 boot van 6 personen) door de Haagse grachten naar het Lange Voorhout. De boten vertrekken om: 14:00 15:00 16:00 Wil je gratis mee met de boot? Meld je dan aan via info@willemsvaart.nl. Vermeld in de mail je naam en met hoeveel personen je komt. Komen jullie met meer dan 36 personen? Geen probleem! Er wordt een extra boot ingezet op verzoek. Openbaar vervoer Vanaf Station Hollands Spoor Tram 1, 16, 15 of 17 (tot halte Kneuterdijk), daarna loop je in 5 minuten via de Kneuterdijk naar het Lange Voorhout. Tram 9 (tot halte Malieveld) daarna loop je in 5 minuten via de Koningskade naar het Lange Voorhout. Vanaf Den Haag CS Vanaf Den Haag CS loop je in circa 10 minuten naar het Lange Voorhout of neem je: Tram 9 (tot halte Malieveld) daarna loop je in 5 minuten via de Koningskade naar het Lange Voorhout. Tram 16, bus 22 of 24 (tot halte Kneuterdijk), daarna loop je in 5 minuten via de Kneuterdijk naar het Lange Voorhout. 25 REACHABILITY The festival will be held at the Lange Voorhout a beautiful spot in the centre of the city near the Houses of representatives. The former royalties of the kingdom of the Netherlands used to live there. Transport to the place from The Hague University: in the garden of The Hague University you will find the boathouse of Pelargos. From that point you can step in one of the two boats to get to the festival. It is a free tour but you have to register before you can step on the boat. The boats will leave at 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00. your name to info@willemsvaart.nl. Missed all the transport facilities? The public transport will help you out go to Hollands Spoor Station take tram 1, tram 16, tram 17 they all stop at Kneuterdijk from there it s a five minutes walk to Lange Voorhout. For transport from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, KABK and Royal Conservatoire you can take tram 9 from Central Station to Malieveld 5 minute walk from Koningskade towards Lange Voorhout. SUSTAINABILITY Oh Oh INTRO uses green electricity and LED theatre lights. The brochure of Oh Oh INTRO is printed on environmentally friendly paper. The foodcorners also provide healthy food. The cup which we use is from sustainable resources. Oh Oh INTRO does her outmost to collect the carbage separately. Oh Oh INTRO visitors are not using cars..
