10 Een epileptiforme aanval Is een abnormale hoeveelheid neurale activiteit in de hersenschors (cortex) 2. Hoe ziet het er zoal uit? De klassieke aanval dan wel de Gegeneraliseerde aanval Grand mal 10

15 Indeling naar oorzaak: 1. Echte epilepsie - Erfelijke epilepsie - Idiopathische epilepsie (cryptogeen?) 2. Secundaire epilepsie - tgv iets in het hoofd 3. Valse epilepsie - tgv iets buiten het hoofd (voorheen reactief) Wanneer zeggen we dan dat het erfelijke of idiopathische epilepsie is? 15

20 Orthosta c or postural tremors Defini on A tremor that involves muscles participate in maintaining the body against gravity Orthostatic tremor (OT) Orthosta c tremor Giant breed of dogs (Great Danes, Deerhound and Newfoundland). Young age (1-2 years) Only visible when the dog is standing. Typically begin in the lower aspects of the legs, but can also involve the muscles of the head and face. 20
