3 PREFACE 4 Een huis moet vooral een thuis zijn, een plek om tot rust te komen en te genieten. De persoonlijke touch in jouw interieur is daarbij heel belangrijk. Met dit boek willen we je inspireren door een brede waaier aan projecten aan je voor te stellen. Foto s zeggen meer dan woorden. Laat je dan ook verrassen door onze projecten. Doorheen het boek kan je ook enkele tips vinden van onze interieurexperte Eliza en onze sales manager Louis. Dit boek heeft als bedoeling om te inspireren. Om te laten zien hoe een Lamett-vloer eruit ziet in een woning. Toch raden we je aan om niet aan de hand van een foto een keuze te maken, maar om altijd eens langs te gaan bij een Lamett-verdeler. Daar kan je de vloer in het echt zien. Of laat een staal bij je thuis leveren. Een lijst met alle verdelers in je regio en meer info over de stalen vind je op 5

Would you like a cup of coffee? At Lamett, I am responsible for the showroom. I receive customers, listen to their requirements and offer them advice regarding our range of products. The floor is key to determining the atmosphere in your interior. You live with it every day! It gives me great satisfaction to be able to offer good advice on this subject. In my years working for Lamett, I have discovered just how versatile wood is. I whole world has opened up for me: production processes, new processing techniques, finishing parquet... there is so much to tell. Even after the floor has been fitted, we remain involved and always take the time to answer your questions. Creating trends Do we follow trends at Lamett? We create the trends! I pay a lot of visits to architects, which allows me to learn new things. Based on this knowledge, we often add new collections, or change or remove old ones. We keep evolving. We think that s important, and it makes my work much more interesting. Sometimes, people come to us with a specific problem. I really enjoy contributing ideas. Perhaps a thirty centimetre plank is a good choice? Or our newest vinyl collection, that is barely distinguishable from wood? It is nice to be able to offer customers an ideal, trendy, tailor made solution. In my blog articles, that is exactly what I want to do: provide advice about our collection and answer various questions about floors. So, would you like to know something about parquet, vinyl or laminate? Are you having trouble choosing a floor? Then feel free to send me a message via [contact], and I will deal with your question in my next blog article. Een huis is zoveel meer dan een hoop bakstenen en wat isolatie. Onze thuis is ons vertrek- en eindpunt. De plek waar we tot rust komen, waar we voelen, ruiken en beleven. De plaats waar we ontmoeten, ontspannen en dromen. Logisch ook dat het gezellig maken van die hoop stenen een echte hobby of passie is voor velen. Het maken van een coccon, een warm nest voor jezelf en alle mensen rondom je, vraagt soms een inspanning, maar geeft ook zoveel terug. We groeien er op, lachen en discussiëren er. De structuur en inrichting van je huis zijn belangrijke factoren in hoe we die momenten beleven. Keer op keer vind ik het een geweldig leuke opdracht om aan de hand van behoeften en het verhaal van klanten hun perfecte interieur te creëren. Sinds mijn lief en ik onze woning zefl renoveerden, is interieur een echte passie geworden. Ik startte een interieurblog, volgde een avondopleiding interieurvormgeving en deed heel wat praktijkervaring op op onze eigen werf. Gaandeweg groeide mijn passie uit tot een job. Interieuradviezen geven, showrooms inrichten en beursstanden ontwikkelen, inspiratieblogs en artikels schrijven voor diverse websites en magazines. Yes, I love my job! Ook voor Lamett schrijf ik heel wat interieurtips bij elkaar en elke derde zaterdag van de maand kun je een afspraak maken voor (gratis!) interieuradvies in de showroom!
