De definitieve deelnemerslijst is bijgevoegd. De vlucht is geboekt en intussen werken wij aan het vervolmaken van het programma. Voor jullie staat het volgende te doen: Geld overmaken naar de VBT: De reiskosten bedragen 2100, -- voor leden. 2200,-- voor introducés en voor wie een eenpersoonskamer heeft besteld (zie deelnemerslijst) 200,-- extra. Graag dit bedrag zo spoedig mogelijk overmaken op rekening 1635103 van de VBT. Er is reeds een hoop geld voorgeschoten voor de vlucht. Visum regelen: Voor Cuba geldt een visumplicht. Wij kunnen terecht met een toeristenvisum. De kosten daarvoor bedragen 22,-. Daarbij komen afhandelingskosten en portokosten als je met een visumbureau in zee gaat. Je paspoort dient bij aankomst in Cuba nog minstens een half jaar geldig te zijn. Regel dus zo nodig een nieuw en geef ons je nieuwe paspoortnummer door! Via www.visum.nl of www.visumexpress.nl is een visum te regelen. Inentingen halen: Voor Cuba zijn geen inentingen verplicht. Wel worden er een aantal aangeraden, zoals DTP en hepatitis A. Overleg uiterlijk twee weken tevoren, liefst nog wat eerder, met de plaatselijke GGD wat voor jou nodig is. http://www.travelclinic.com/225/cuba.htm Valuta meenemen: De lokale valuta van Cuba is de Cubaanse Convertibele Peso ( CUC ). Bij banken, internationale hotels en sommige winkels kunnen Euro s en andere valuta worden gewisseld in CUCs. Aangeraden wordt om Euro s voor CUC s te wisselen of om CUC s via de credit card op te nemen. Het inwisselen van Amerikaanse dollars is mogelijk, alhoewel daarop naast normale bankcommissies een additionele commissie van 10% verschuldigd is. Je kunt niet pinnen in Cuba! Amerikaanse Credit Cards of uigegeven door aan Amerikaanse banken gelieerde instellingen worden niet geaccepteerd!
