6 Ode to your creativity Light is the most important medium for discovering the world around us, it enables us to define objects and space. But light goes far beyond that since light influences our perception, our mood and our behaviour. For Kreon, this aspect is the essence of creating light and designing with light. Our timeless luminaires are created to be an integral part of architecture. The emphasis lies not on the product itself, but on light offering maximum support to architecture and interior design through the ultimate oneness. We are therefore proud to present our new catalogue, knowing that our existing product range enables you to realise emotion and beauty in your projects. Het beïnvloedt onze waarnemingswereld, onze gemoedstoestand en ons gedrag. Dit is voor Kreon de essentie bij het creëren van licht en het ontwerpen met licht. Onze tijdloze lichtarmaturen worden ontworpen om integraal deel uit te maken van de architectuur. 8 Secret Light is mysterious Secret, a new lighting concept that makes use of the architecture itself. Lighting optimally integrated. All versions of this recessed fixture are completely trimless and therefore invisible when the light is switched off. When switching on the light, the luminaire opens slowly covering the space with light. All versions are available motorised or manual. 10 Secret Secret is installed entirely without trims. Sufficient space to install the motor must be available behind the wall. The cover is painted in the same colour as the surrounding wall. 14 Prologe - Regule Light captured in a black box Prologe and Regule complement the existing collection based on our principles for working with light: quality, architectural integration and design. The names "Prologe" and "Regule" have been adapted from "Prologus in Antiphonarium" and "Regule Rithmice", two manuscripts by the mediaeval music theorist Guido d Arezzo. He created the basics of the system of music notation that we all know; a concept that embraced both useful theoretical principles and the practical skill needed to perform music. With our new series, we are introducing a new lighting: "Prologe" and "Regule". Two new light concepts, key elements in a modular system that offers enormous flexibility for composing systematic yet highly individual light scenography. Licht gevat in een zwart volume. Prologe en Regule vullen de bestaande Kreon collectie aan met dezelfde basisprincipes: kwaliteit, integratie en design. De namen "Prologe" en "Regule" vinden hun oorsprong in "Prologus in Antiphonarium" en "Regule Rithmice", twee manuscripten van de middeleeuwse muziek theoreticus Guido d'arezzo. De basis van het nu algemeen aanvaard systeem om muziek te beschrijven. Met onze nieuwe reeks introduceren wij een nieuwe verlichting: Prologe en Regule. 20 Prologe 80 in-line Light is given mass, depth and form. Recessed in wall and ceiling, it sculpts architecture. Openings are made in the plastered surfaces using prefabricated anodised aluminium housings available in standard or made-to-measure lengths in which the Prologe is positioned. 32 Prologe 80 on-regule The Regule is a surface mounted extruded aluminium profile. The Regule two-circuit track is host to a variety of Prologe elements with different light sources. Once they are clipped into the Regule, they can be moved freely from one side of the track to the other. 44 Up Light becomes theatrical Up will add dynamism to your architecture, walls become sculptures, trees are majestic and works of art show their mysticism. No screws are visible, so the system has a simple but powerful image. The double glazing creates an in-depth effect, in which the outer glass covers the screwed glass underneath it. The housing is made of high-pressure die-cast aluminium and the visible trim has a silver powder coating finish. Special glands and conduits ensure watertight connection to the electrical system while the air-set system ensures that the interior of the fitting remains condensation-free. 82 Side Architecture becomes light-active Depending on the light source, different luminaires are supplied with asymmetric reflectors to guarantee maximum output without glare. These reflectors can easily be removed from the luminaire and are available in three versions: matt anodised, curved polished and ribbed (millerighe). The reflector clips into the housing after installation and connection of the luminaire. All appliances are equipped with mounting clamps to enable easy installation. For concrete or stonework a concrete box and plaster kit are available. There are a variety of decorative accessories including coloured murano glass strips or matt and clear protective glasses. The housing has a slanted top and is made from galvanised steel. The visible trim has a silver finish powder coating. Diapason is equipped with a revolving stop to lock the fitting in any position. Depending on the light source the luminaires are supplied with different reflectors which can be easily removed. The reflector clips into the housing after installation and connection of the luminaire. There are a variety of decorative accessories including coloured glass, dichroic filters, lens, mirrors and louvres. The fitting has a silver finish powder coating. No part of this catalogue may be reproduced without written authorisation from Kreon. Low voltage fixtures The installation of low voltage fixtures requires a number of precautions. The power of the transformer must equal the sum of the powers of the fixtures (W), in other words, 4 fixtures of 50 W each require a transformer of 200 VA. In addition, the low voltage fixtures must be looped to the security transformer. The transformer requires installation as close to the fixtures as possible to avoid voltage drops. Because the current at 12 V is times greater than at 230 V, special attention must be paid to the use of appropriate wiring. In order to protect secondary circuits against overload, they must be equipped with the appropriate fuses. Laagspanning De installatie van apparatuur voor laagspanning vereist een aantal specifieke maatregelen: Het vermogen van de transformator moet steeds gelijk zijn aan het totale vermogen van de lampen. Wanneer men bijvoorbeeld 4 armaturen van elk 50 Watt installeert, moet het vermogen van de transformator 200 Watt bedragen. Gezien de stroomsterkte bij 12 volt 18 tot 20 maal hoger ligt dan bij 230 volt, moet er steeds gebruik worden gemaakt van de geschikte bekabeling. Om de secundaire leidingen tegen overbelasting te beschermen, dient de installatie ook steeds van de juiste zekeringen voorzien te worden. Voornamelijk het gebruik van elektronische transformatoren met hoge frequentie (30-50 khz), vereisen een draadlengte van minder dan twee meter om binnen de vastgestelde normen van radio interferentie te blijven. Het dimmen van lage stroominstallaties is enkel mogelijk met een daartoe aangepaste dimmer. 284 General delivery terms and sales conditions Article 1. Coming about and object of the deal: Our offers are made without engagement and have only exploratory character. Orders bind parties definitely unless the seller notifies his refusal or reservation in writing within 30 days after obtaining the order. By the order all previous correspondence expires. Orders differing from the present general terms and conditions of sale bind us only after explicit acceptance of the differing terms, and individual conditions clients and suppliers might refer to in writing are not accepted. If the seller's confidence in the buyer's creditworthiness is impaired by legal action against the buyer and / or other apparent events that cast doubt on or exclude confidence in the good realisation of the undertakings made by the buyer, the seller moreover reserves the right to postpone the whole order or part of it, even when the goods had already been sent entirely or partially, and the right to require appropriate guarantees of the buyer. If the buyer refuses to comply with the demand for such guarantees, the seller reserves the right to cancel the whole order of part of it. The rights of the seller to all damages and interest remain in full force. When an order comprises different deliveries, the irrefutable presumption that each delivery is supposed to be part of a separate contract applies to the benefit of the seller. As a consequence, any disputes concerning the realisation of the seller's undertakings with regard to a supply do not affect the rest of the order, so that the buyer cannot refer to any possible dispute with regard to the delivery in order to escape his obligations with regard to the other deliveries. Article 2. Deliveries: The terms of delivery determined in the order form or in the confirmation of the order have no effect for the seller and are only given as an indication so that a possible delay does not under any circumstances entitle the buyer to compensation and / or annulment of the deal, unless specifically stated otherwise. 285 Article 5. Transfer of ownership, ownership restriction and explicit annulling stipulation: Until payment in full to the seller for the goods, the goods shall remain the property of the seller. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the risk in the goods and all liability to third parties in respect thereof shall pass to the buyer on delivery. The buyer shall be entitled to transform the goods or to incorporate them in a new product or products. In that case the seller reserves to himself the legal and equitable title to the final product or products into which the goods are incorporated or mixed. The buyer shall store the final products separately and ownership of these products shall remain with the seller until full payment has been made to the seller for the goods. The buyer may sell the goods in the normal course of his business but on condition that the buyer, in a fiduciary capacity as bailee of the goods, and for so long as he has not fully discharged his debt to the seller, shall hold and pursue claims for the proceeds of their sale equal to the price of the goods for and on behalf of the seller. The buyer shall fully pursue such claims and if necessary shall recover the sums due by legal process. The buyer shall, if so required by the seller, allow the seller to conduct in the buyer's name legal proceedings in respect of the monies due on the sale of the goods. Any sums recovered by the seller as a result of such proceedings (including sums accepted by the seller in settlement thereof whether or not equal to the sums claimed) shall be applied to the payment of the monies due to the seller from the buyer and then to the reasonable costs incurred by the seller in the course of such proceedings. Any balance remaining shall be paid to the buyer. Prior to the sale of the goods, the buyer shall, so far as reasonably practicable, store the goods separately from similar goods of the buyer, mark the goods as the property of the seller and shall not remove, obliterate or in any manner alter any label, mark or other means the seller may have of identifying the goods. If the buyer fails to realise his obligations, the sale can be annulled by right and without prior notice. The expression of the seller's will by registered mail will suffice for this purpose. The buyer will in that case return the material within 24 hours to the seller. If he fails to comply with this, the seller has the legal right to take into possession the material after the above-mentioned term expires. Besides, the seller has the right in this case to fixed damages of 10 % of the purchase price, without prejudice to his right to claim more damages if he possibly suffered more loss. Article 6. Circumstances beyond one's control: If the seller cannot fulfil one of his obligations, he is not liable if he proves that the shortcoming is due to circumstances which at the moment of the deal he was not expected to take into account, to prevent or to overcome. Indien een order meerdere leveringen omvat, dan geldt ten voordele van de verkoper het onweerlegbare vermoeden dat elke levering geacht wordt een deel uit te maken van een afzonderlijk contract. Bijgevolg tasten eventuele betwistingen aangaande de uitvoering van de verbintenissen van de verkoper m.b.t. een zending de rest van de bestelling niet aan, zodat de koper enige betwisting m.b.t. de levering niet kan inroepen ten einde aan zijn verplichtingen m.b.t. de andere leveringen te ontsnappen. Artikel 2. Leveringen : De leveringstermijnen bepaald in de bestelbon of in de orderbevestiging zijn niet bindend voor de verkoper, en worden slechts als aanwijzing gegeven. Een eventuele vertraging geeft de koper in geen geval recht op schadevergoeding of annulatie van de bestelling en/of ontbinding van de overeenkomst, behoudens uitdrukkelijk andersluidend beding. De goederen worden uitsluitend gelijkvloers geleverd. Onze koopwaren worden verkocht, afgehaald en betaald in onze magazijnen. De verzendingskosten zijn altijd ten laste van de klant, behalve wanneer het uitdrukkelijk anders vermeld is. Indien de koper weigert of nalaat de bestelde goederen bij levering te aanvaarden, heeft de verkoper de keuze tussen enerzijds de vordering tot gedwongen nakomen van de verbintenissen door de koper, en anderzijds de vordering tot ontbinding van rechtswege van de overeenkomst met de schadevergoeding verschuldigd door de koper, gelijk aan 30% van de verkoopprijs. Artikel 3. Aanvaarding van de goederen en verborgen gebreken : Behoudens andersluidend beding dienen de klachten betreffende zichtbare gebreken en de conformiteit van de verkochte goederen binnen de twee dagen na afhaling/ontvangst bij aangetekend en gemotiveerd schrijven aan de verkoper te worden meegedeeld. De koper moet aantonen dat de zichtbare gebreken en/of de niet conformiteit ervan met de door hem geplaatste bestelling aanwezig waren op het ogenblik van de afhaling/levering. In geen geval geeft een dergelijke klacht de koper het recht om de betaling van de prijs geheel of gedeeltelijk op te schorten. Klachten in verband met verborgen gebreken zijn slechts ontvankelijk indien ze bij aangetekend en gemotiveerd schrijven ter kennis worden gebracht van de verkoper uiterlijk binnen de zes maanden na de leveringsdatum, en binnen de 8 dagen na het vaststellen van het gebrek. De verkoper verbindt er zich enkel toe de door hem als gebrekkig erkende onderdelen te vervangen of te herstellen, met uitsluiting van alle andere vergoedingen voor rechtstreekse en/of onrechtstreekse schade. Artikel 4. Betalingen en voorschotten : Al onze prijzen zijn prijzen "af fabriek" behalve indien uitdrukkelijk en schriftelijk anders overeengekomen werd. Elke verhoging van de tolrechten en de b.t.w.-tarieven evenals van andere lasten en taksen toepasselijk op de verkoop, en ingevoerd na de totstandkoming van de overeenkomst is ten laste van de koper, zelfs indien een prijstaks inclusief overeengekomen was. Onze facturen zijn betaalbaar op onze maatschappelijke zetel. Onze facturen zijn netto-contant betaalbaar, behoudens uitdrukkelijk en schriftelijk overeengekomen andersluidend beding. Aan die modaliteit wordt door het trekken van wissels, die nooit schuldvernieuwing opleveren, niets veranderd. Bij niet-betaling van een wissel of het niet nakomen van de daarvoor toegestane betalingstermijnen worden alle andere nog verschuldigde sommen onmiddellijk opeisbaar. kreon [email protected] 286

287 Bij niet-betaling van de verschuldigde bedragen op de vervaldag, is van rechtswege en zonder dat een bijzondere ingebrekestelling nodig is, een nalatigheidsintrest van 1,25 % per maand verschuldigd op de op vervaldag niet-geïnde sommen. Bovendien en ongeacht de verschuldigde conventionele intresten, zal in geval van laattijdige betaling van rechtswege en zonder ingebrekestelling een forfaitaire schadevergoeding verschuldigd zijn van 10% op het factuurbedrag, met een minimum van 40 euro. Bij gebreke aan betaling van een factuur op de vervaldag worden al de andere facturen van de verkoper op de koper onmiddellijk opeisbaar, onverminderd het recht van de verkoper zich te beroepen op andere rechten van deze algemene voorwaarden. Artikel 5. Eigendomsoverdracht, eigendomsvoorbehoud en uitdrukkelijk ontbindend beding : De verkoper behoudt het eigendom van alle modellen, fabrieks- en handelsmerken, octrooien, tekeningen en schetsen. Het eigendomsrecht van het verkochte goed en van al zijn toebehoren zal slechts aan de koper overgedragen worden op het ogenblik van de volledige betaling van de prijs, zowel de hoofdsom als de eventuele intresten en kosten. De koper ontzegt zich bijgevolg het recht om het materiaal te verhuren, in pand te geven of op enige andere wijze hierover te beschikken. Ingeval de koper de goederen herverkoopt, cedeert hij aan de verkoper ten titel van pand, van nu af aan, alle schuldvorderingen die voortkomen uit deze herverkoop. De door de koper betaalde voorschotten blijven voor de verkoper verworven ter vergoeding van de mogelijke verliezen bij wederverkoop door de verkoper. Wanneer de koper nalaat zijn verbintenissen uit te voeren, kan de verkoop van rechtswege en zonder ingebrekestelling ontbonden zijn. De wilsuiting hiervan per aangetekend schrijven door de verkoper zal hiervoor volstaan. De koper zal dan het materiaal binnen de 24 uur aan de verkoper restitueren. Als hij hieraan niet voldoet, heeft de verkoper van rechtswege het recht om het materiaal in bezit te nemen na het verstrijken van hierboven vermelde termijn. Bovendien heeft de verkoper in dit geval het recht op een forfaitaire schadevergoeding van 10 % van de koopprijs, onverminderd zijn recht om vergoeding te eisen voor bijkomende schade. Artikel 6 Overmacht : Indien de verkoper één van zijn verplichtingen niet kan nakomen, dan is hij hiervoor niet aansprakelijk indien hij aantoont dat de tekortkoming te wijten is aan omstandigheden die hij bij het sluiten van de overeenkomst niet gehouden was in aanmerking te nemen, te vermijden of te boven te komen. Hierna volgt een opsomming van dergelijke, door partijen aanvaarde, omstandigheden. Deze opsomming is evenwel niet exhaustief : - elke wijziging van de fabrikantenprijs, van de grondstoffenprijs, van de wisselkoersverhoudingen, van de koers van vreemde munten waarin materiaal of delen van materiaal worden aangekocht, en meer in het algemeen wijzigingen van alle elementen die de aankoopprijs van de verkoper bepalen, waardoor deze aankoopprijs met meer dan 3 % stijgt tussen de datum van het sluiten van de overeenkomst om de levering van de goederen conform huidige voorwaarden, niet-levering door fabrikanten of door de leveranciers van de verkoper, daden van de overheid, uitvoer, invoer of doorvoer verboden, stakingen, oproer, oorlog of oorlogsgedrag, mobilisaties, weersomstandigheden, gebrek aan materiaal of transport, machinebreuk, brand, gebrek aan arbeidskrachten, transportmoeilijkheden of belemmeringen die tot gevolg hebben de uitvoering vertraagd of ernstig te bemoeilijkt wordt, of de kosten van de uitvoering te verhogen met meer dan 3%. Artikel 7. Reparaties : De reparaties geven geen enkel recht op garantie behalve bij uitdrukkelijke afwijkende overeenkomst. Artikel 8. Verzaking : Het niet toepassen door de verkoper van één of meerdere bepalingen van huidige algemene voorwaarden kunnen niet als een verzaking aan deze voorwaarden worden geïnterpreteerd. Artikel 9.
